Have been here for a long time. Food was great, selection was very large, main course averaged 18 euros, but previously there were potato slices, now only rice balls. This is a shame given the price increase, as the portions now seem smaller. If you take the rest with you, you have to pay extra for the packaging. A 0.4 l soft drink 4.90 euros What I found unpleasant is the stress factor of the staff. They're just racing, and that's reflected on the guests. This can also be done more relaxed with a normal step.

The food was quite good, the service was very good. Unfortunately it took a very long time until the food was ready. The ambience is OK. Extremely loud in general.

We were there with 6 people, one child... All of the child's wishes were fulfilled and the food was also very tasty, although the medallions for one meal weren't that great. Otherwise, great service..

My husband and I love Greek cuisine and eat out several times a year (especially on our business trips throughout Germany). After moving to the Gera area, we visited Knossos for the first time this year '24 and were extremely positively surprised. For us, Knossos represents upscale gastronomy. Here the interior, the service, the selection of drinks and food as well as the ambience all work together harmoniously. The service is very attentive without being intrusive, always brings a smile and cannot be surpassed in terms of friendliness. The food is fresh, very high quality, prepared to perfection and has a spiciness that more than delights us. The cozy furnishings, pleasant lighting, subtle music and beautiful accessories invite you to linger. Since then we have been visiting more often and have already found a favorite place. It's better to make a reservation in the evening or weekend, otherwise you could be disappointed!! Long story short: for us the best Greek restaurant we have ever visited! Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back. And yes, the restaurant is well attended…. …. it's a little louder - over 100 people are talking!!! ... you sometimes wait a little longer for the food - after all, it's not a canteen with ready-made food!! ... the service can sometimes forget something - let him raise the first stone, for example, he always goes shopping without a shopping list and NEVER forgets anything!!! For all those who rate rudely: maybe take a closer look at how everyone is struggling and notice that you are not alone on a pink cloud in the restaurant!! “There are days when you think that finding unicorns is easier than common sense.”

Cozy atmosphere. Very well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Food is very good and the selection of dishes is sufficient. There is an extra menu for children. Uneaten food can be packed up without any problems.

This was our first time at Knossos and I have to say it was very good. The food was great and the waiters were very friendly. It took a while for the food to arrive, but it was super crowded on Saturday evening, so you can understand that. The only negative point was our seat. The table was almost in the middle of the hallway and so we didn't have a lamp. It was a bit dark there but otherwise it was nice.

A large restaurant with a very large outdoor area. It is always necessary to book in advance on the weekend, otherwise you will be unlucky and not get a seat. The service has always been perfect. Ouzo is very willingly given as a gift if you don't say stop at some point 🙈. The food is always very tasty and beautifully presented, but the portions are very large. I often have to have the leftovers packed up because I can't manage it.

For me it's the best restaurant in the city - you can see that by the number of visitors every day of the week. We were here 2 weeks ago with a group of foreign business partners and received a warm welcome and ended up coming here 3 evenings in a row because it was simply fantastic. Thanks to the kitchen for the delicious food and many thanks to the service. Also big thanks to the boss or bosses for the reasonable prices. Price-performance is really very good. We'll definitely be back (next time maybe even with a reservation...thanks for always having room for our group).

Everything we ordered was extremely tasty. The staff were also very nice and friendly. The only problem was that the portions were much larger than we thought and we had to eat much more slowly towards the end of the meal 😁 The prices looked a bit high at the beginning, but when you look at how full the plates were, they were pretty normal prices. So, definitely recommended and we will definitely come back soon. 🐟🦐🦑🥂

It is also very cozy and quiet thanks to the separation between the tables, even when there is a large crowd. Knossos is fully recommended.

The food was really great. A great selection. I think it's really great that you can choose Cretan potatoes as a side dish. In my region, Cretan potatoes are very rarely available as an offer and then only as an extra dish, which is significantly more expensive in terms of price. The service was good and the ambience was nice, but a few seats were quite tight.

We have been guests at Knossos very often. This time we were very disappointed. The staff was unfriendly. We studied the menu and every two minutes the same waiter came and asked quite rudely if we wanted to order. The food was not tasty and the meat was dry. We won't eat there again.

We are here often, in smaller and larger groups. So far, reservations have always been easy (even with a lot of people), and the selection of Greek food and drinks is large. The staff is courteous and quick. We really enjoy being here. :)

I don't think the price/performance ratio is right anymore. Unfortunately... they charge way too much money, especially for the starters. This no longer has anything to do with higher procurement or energy costs. And the room is full of masses of people. Otherwise you could still understand the prices, but unfortunately not at all. Are there more sensible and good Greeks in Gera?
