Great location! Parking spaces are available nearby, you can sit inside and in a very well-kept and very inviting outdoor area. Personal greeting from the boss and/or employee, without exception very friendly! Huge selection of delicious dishes, rounded off by a balanced range of drinks. Ouzo is of course included! 🙏 Prices? - Not a bargain, but considering the quality and quantity, the prices quoted are ABSOLUTELY OK. Guaranteed I'll come back!

This was our first time ordering food here. Within 20 minutes 3 dishes and 1 dessert were ready. I find it to be super fast. When I arrived, the boss was right there and made sure that the order found its way to me. The employees I came into contact with were all consistently friendly. The first impression was clean, friendly and inviting. The food was great. Really fresh, warm and well presented. The taste is also really delicious.

Service: The boss still takes personal care of his guests here and not too little. As soon as you arrive you are greeted warmly and you immediately feel welcome. You don't have to wait long for food and drinks, even if the restaurant is full. Eat: We already have many dishes (about starters, main courses and dessert) Tried them and were always impressed by the good taste and richly filled plates. If you leave here hungry, you have to have more than one stomach. Even the food for “small hunger” is plentiful. Even if you don't make it all the way through, the leftovers will be happy to be packed up. The menu also offers a wide selection, so there should be something for everyone. Price: Anyone expecting a €10 burger menu is wrong here. But for the quantity and quality, the prices are really great. Ambiance: A very nice restaurant with the typical Greek flair and facilities. There is also a very nice outdoor area for warm days. The Greek background music is a matter of taste, but it's part of it for me. Conclusion: If you love extremely friendly service and good, plentiful food, this is the place for you.

A beautiful restaurant in the center of Gehren. We already know Chef Christos from his restaurant in Großbreitenbach. And nothing has changed. Christos and his team are very friendly and accommodating. The orders were taken quickly and were at the table quickly. No long waiting times. The food is plentiful and tastes great. We like coming here. Dogs are also warmly welcomed and are allowed to be brought along. All in all a very nice restaurant with delicious food.

Absolute recommendation! We were 6 people and two dogs. When we made the reservation by phone, we were seated at the edge, which worked great. Thanks for that... After ordering, drinks, starters and main courses came. We didn't have to wait long for it. We were very impressed with the quality of the food, everything tasted very tasty and fresh. The obligatory ouzo wasn't missing either... in total we received 3 carafes of 0.25 liters each 😀😋 We were extremely satisfied with the staff and service. There are enough parking spaces available.

Our evening began with a warm welcome. The very nice and courteous waiters took us to the table. The atmosphere is very chic and modern, just makes you feel good. We really enjoyed the drinks, but the starter and our main course were really a highlight. Everyone is super nice and accommodating, from the boss to the nice waiters. Because of the many positive reviews, we decided to spend the last evening of our short vacation here. We weren't disappointed...everything is just right here, the ambience, the quality of the food, but above all the friendliness and warmth of all the employees...you feel welcome here. We had a great evening. The gyro was amazing. The other meat dishes (steak, fried meatballs, etc.) also tasted very good and were juicy and tender. Unfortunately the lamb only came to the table lukewarm.

We were passing through last night and stopped there for dinner. Delicious food in a good portion size. But what should be particularly highlighted is the super nice owner and his staff. You feel very comfortable and welcome there. Since we often travel through the A71, we will definitely stop by again!

Unfortunately only a 1-star review, we didn't even get into the restaurant, even though according to Google it was open (08.03.24 at noon). There were some components lying in front of the door, a water heater or something similar, it looked like a construction site, absolutely not inviting. Then not. We were just passing through and had taken a 15 km detour because of the positive reviews - unfortunately we continued hungry.

Anyone who would like to eat well is in good hands here.

The restaurant is very clean and the food is really very tasty. We had a starter plate, bean soup and main courses. What I unfortunately have to mention negatively is the volume! We were there on Valentine's Day and literally every table was occupied! Sometimes you didn't understand your own words... But we still had a very nice evening.

18:00… wir gehören zu den ersten Gästen im Lokal. Nachdem wir unsere Getränke bekommen haben dauert’s ne halbe Stunde bis wir unser Essen bestellen können. Dem Kellner läuft beim Bestellvorgang der Schweiss von der Stirn. Mit zittrigen Händen notiert er schnell unsere Wünsche. 15 Minuten später (erstaunlich schnell) bekommen wir unser Essen. Problem - die Speisen stimmen nicht mit unserer Bestellung überein und‘s fehlen einige Beilagen. Nun, nachdem wir alle mit dem Essen fertig sind konnte die Beilagenproblematik nach wie vor nicht geklärt werden. Essen topp, Service flopp. Beim nächsten Mal essen wir wieder in Ilmenau. Prost! PS: merkt euch die Nummern und bestellt keine Rum Cola!

Wir waren heute mit unserem Hund zum Mittagessen da und sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Unser Hund bekam sofort ein Schälchen Wasser. Der Salat war frisch und die bestellten Lamkotelett sehr lecker und reichlich. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis finden wir absolut angebracht. Ambiente und Service bekommen auch 5 Sterne von uns.

Der Eingang liegt genau gegenüber der Küche. Man kommt herein und riecht sofort Bratenöl und Knoblauch/Fisch. Der Service ist erstklassik, was aber die Qualität vom Essen nicht ausgleicht.

Im Kreta ist es immer wieder schön, das Essen sehr lecker, der Service super... Vor allem der Inhaber Christos mit seiner herzlichen Art... Der Außenbereich lädt besonders gegen Abend zum verweilen ein.

Wir waren zu einem Geburtstag eingeladen. Der Biergarten draußen wirkte etwas lieblos, das Ambiente im Restaurant war hübsch und passend für einen Griechen. Das Essen kam zügig, allerdings war keiner am Tisch begeistert. Durchschnittliche Qualität zum gehobenen Preis. Vorspeisenplatte 15,90€, Kinderessen 13,90€ 🙈 Schade. Wir würden gerne häufiger Essen gehen und auch regionale Unternehmen unterstützen, aber dann wünschen wir uns einfach eine bessere Qualität. Der Service wirkte auch überfordert mit dem Sonderwunsch nach heißen Wasser zum Erwärmen der Babyflasche und auch sonst war das Personal etwas wortkarg.
