Unfortunately the food was extremely bad. Meat is hard to chew and the staff is very unfriendly. The store also smelled very unpleasant, which was noticeable upon entering. The good reviews here are deceiving, I would definitely not recommend the store. I'm looking forward to the owner's response, as you could see from the other bad comments, he can't handle criticism. But you also have to recognize when the food served is bad.

Best Greek restaurant! Great service and, above all, incredibly delicious food. I highly recommend it. This review was written three years ago. Since the owner changed, the quality is unfortunately not as good anymore. I ordered a grilled meat, and the meat was so dry that I couldn't enjoy it. Complaining was pointless; everything would be the same as always... It's a shame, because it really used to be very good.

Since the change of ownership, the quality has deteriorated significantly. The service is ok, but seems overwhelmed. Moussaka had no eggplant, "garlic bread" was garlic butter bagutte from the supermarket/metro that was briefly fried. Bifteki soggy and not tasty. It's a shame, Naxos used to be the best Greek restaurant in Mainz. Also, €100 for two adults and two small children is very expensive, even in the city center.

Been there by chance. Well then, the waiter was very good. The food price/performance and the ambience (outside) are unfortunately not. Rather bad!

Three of us shared two platters, one with mixed grilled vegetables and the other with a mix of grilled lamb, pork and gyros. Served with a dish of bread. Very tasty and delicious.

I was there with my partner and didn't make a reservation on Valentine's Day and the great operator still had a nice place for us, so great service. Condition also super nice. Nice place, you feel right at home there. The food is priced right and everything is also very tasty. At the end there was also an uzo which was very tasty. And it was a great romantic evening there with candlelight. And we will eat there more often, especially since we are now celebrating our anniversary. Thanks to the operator and his staff top 5 stars plus for me.
