I have been visiting this place for 16 years and this restaurant has never disappointed me. The food is always fresh, the meat is of the best quality...the steaks are the best I have ever eaten...always perfect. For starters, there is always a delicious cabbage salad and warm bread with herbs and, of course, a glass of ouzo. The portions are large and no one will leave this restaurant hungry. Very nice service, very nice atmosphere and decor. There is nice Greek music in the background, which makes every meal more pleasant. After the meal, another glass of ouzo for good digestion. I visit regularly and I always leave full with a smile on my face. I highly recommend it.

I would like to eat at Restaurant Zeus, known as Sprudel. However, there is no mention anywhere, except during a recession, that the restaurant is closed for holidays. The website says open! Since I come from Meerbusch, I don't want to drive past there "at random". If you are already using new technologies, you should also use them accordingly. I hope the food is better. I use the stars because there is no other way. But they don't reflect my experience.

We had dinner at Ambrosian on Sunday, August 4th, 2024 at around 6 p.m. We had called ahead and reserved a table. We were then placed in the back right corner. There were indefinable stains on the wall and the floor was full of breadcrumbs. And that even though the shop had only just opened. The menu was quite sticky and torn. We then ordered fried anchovies and baked sheep's cheese as starters. The dead fried anchovies were served with three slices of dry baquette. I then had to order tzatziki for a fee to get the anchovies down. The baked sheep's cheese was ice cold in the middle. Once it was cut, it was simply thrown back into the deep fryer. Great start. The main course was a grilled plate with pork fillet and Giros gratinated with Metaxa sauce. I asked that the meat not be cooked through. This wish probably didn't reach the kitchen. Everything was absolutely fried to death and the supposed pork fillet wasn't. And the portion of tzatziki was minimalist. I'm not familiar with Greeks like that. The Metaxa sauce was more of a soup and then everything was baked with a bunch of the cheapest analogue cheese. Not edible. When I then mentioned the deficiencies, they didn't address them at all. All I got was a snide “That was pork fillet.” Impossible! An outrage! The whole fun cost a whopping €65, including a bottle of water. Absolutely not justified. We won't be entering this store again. There is better food in a Greek chip shop.

UNFORTUNATELY CLOSED PERMANENTLY! Excellent cuisine and very nice host. Very tasty and inexpensive. Happy to come back!
