Unfortunately I have to say that you can't eat anything there anymore. A small portion of gyros with fries and mayo, a gratinated gyros and a bowl of fries with mayo cost 36 euros. This is either usury or we've been screwed. A few hours after eating it we felt sick. In any case, we won't eat anything there anymore.

We have been regular customers for years. Today we came to the empty (!) snack bar. We ordered from the junior, who didn't even look at us, and were then very rudely asked by the old boss to sit at the table right next to the entrance door (outside temperature 0° C) because otherwise we would dirty the floor with our shoes . (!?!?) We then immediately left this place. We don't need that kind of behavior! Not far away, we were warmly greeted at the “Poseidon” restaurant and were allowed to choose a table without taking off our shoes! Never again Hellas... Unsurpassable arrogance after renovation!!!

Unfortunately, nothing has changed for the better after the renovation. The meat is very over-seasoned, the prices are high, the portion sizes are low... what's worse is the waiting time for the food! You can order 1 hour in advance and then still wait 20 minutes on site because the order was not noted. Too bad! This annoys us...

Cozy home atmosphere, friendly hosts and delicious food.

The food is delicious, but the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. Apparently children are not welcome. Our son is mildly autistic and doesn't like plates. We asked if he could eat a bowl of fries and was rudely denied. Despite the explanation, you were approached in a tone that had nothing to do with service. You should definitely change the friendliness and maybe make children feel welcome. The atmosphere is ok, brighter and friendlier.

We then tried again; but it was definitely the last time. Waiting half an hour for take-away food in a barbecue joint is simply not possible. The now more modern ambience is ok, but it doesn't make the service any better

I liked the ambience a little better before the renovation. But the way it is now, it looks good too. The food has improved in quality. The fries are great, the gyros taste great and the currywurst is also very tasty. Other dishes have yet to be tried. For me one of the two best “French fries shops” in Krefeld. (And we have already tested some)

Everything was redesigned and really beautiful. The food here is great anyway, so it's always a pleasure.

The food has a limited selection but is delicious. No delivery service, but you can pre-order by phone for collection.

Very nice owners who always serve very well. The house and the furnishings in the restaurant have been extensively renovated. The ambience has increased significantly. The furnishings are very tasteful. The food is very good. We had Jägerschnitzel, cola and salad. Was great.

The renovation was worth it - at least for the guests: the grill room became bright and friendly, the chairs are chic and comfortable. The food is still good, as are the portions. The price-performance ratio is also right. What is not right, however, is the young boss's grumpy, even unfriendly demeanor. He should take an example from his mother, who was always friendly and helpful.

I don't know what's going on in the store now... Food subpar, fries soggy, fried far too short, shish kebab is a joke in size... Sauce which sauce? Since the store was renovated a few weeks ago.....the very last thing....but it's nice to increase the prices, the renovation has to be financed. Never again terrible, if I could I would give zero stars 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 The best chip shop a few meters further at the train station, unfortunately it was closed for business.

It brings back childhood memories... and it's still just as tasty as back then! I have to change my review a bit, we stood there for 7-8 minutes, there were 2 people in front of us and our order just wasn't taken, then we left!

Went there in a group years ago. The food was okay. When we wanted to pay separately, this was not taken into account and we were told to work out what each of us had to pay! An absurdity. Now after the renovation we wanted to see again whether the service had improved. Visually it has improved. Much friendlier than before, but very expensive for the amount you get. Remember it is a normal snack bar. My child was constantly being watched while waiting for food, just don't touch or move anything. She was sent away from the windowsill with the glass cleaner in her hand. Older people (including family members) constantly watched my child and gave me a serious look. We didn't feel comfortable and won't go there again. It's a shame actually.

First of all I would like to say that the "restaurant" has been newly renovated and it now looks friendlier and brighter. The food is served on plates that are far too small and a bit careless. We had meatballs with curry sauce and fries. The fries were thin and hard. ... No comment.... For me it is definitely not a Greek restaurant with food as we usually know it. More like a fast food place.

We didn't like it, so never again. The currywurst had a strange aftertaste. The shish kebab was ok. We mentioned this when paying, but no response. Therefore not again

The gyros, whether grilled or pure, really taste great. The owners are very friendly and full of passion. A BVB game every two weeks without a prior visit to the grill room has become virtually unthinkable.

Irgendwo hatte ich gelesen: beste Pommesbude von Krefeld. Das kann uch natürlich nicht beurteilen, ich kenne nicht alle. Aber es war super lecker, die mittlere Pommes ist größer als anderswo die große, und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist nett, für ne Pommesbude.

Wir essen hier seit ich mich erinnern kann. Früher waren die Portionen riesig, das sich diese Zeiten geändert haben ist richtig und gut so. Leider ist es jedoch inzwischen so, dass Preis/Leistung nicht mehr stimmen. Die Preise wurden deutlich erhöht, im Gegenzug sind aber auch die Portionen viel kleiner geworden. Für Currywurst mit Pommes und Bauernsalat 11€ gezahlt. Den Salat für 4,50€ (?) habe ich mal fotografiert. Sorry, das ist der nicht wert. Der Geschmack ist immer noch gut. Aber der Rest passt nicht mehr. Schade! Meine Bewertung von 4* von vor 4 Jahren muss ich im November 2023 auf 2 Sterne reduzieren. Den 2. Stern auch nur weil es noch schmeckt.

Essen ist okay, es gibt schlechtere

Ich liebe diese Grillstube. Hier ist ein familiäres Zusammenspiel per ecellance. Hier arbeiten alle Hand in Hand. Die Familie kommuniziert untereinander nur mit den Augen und jeder versteht was gemeint wurde. Und das Essen ist lecker und erschwinglich.

Hier gibt es das beste Gyros das ich kenne. Sehr lecker! Die Inhaber sind auch sehr freundlich. Manchmal muss man etwas länger auf das Fleisch warten, dafür ist es aber immer frisch.

Sehr leckeres Gyros und das Jägerschnitzel war auch sehr gut. War schon vor 20 Jahren gut und ist es immer noch. Sehr zu empfehlen 👍

Das Essen dort ist seeeehr lecker und Portionen groß . Aber am besten sind die Gastleute . Ich bin noch nie so freundlich und herzlich empfangen und verabschiedet worden 😀

Haben uns in der Vergangenheit häufig in der Grillstube versorgt. Aber jetzt wurden die Preise in einem Ausmaß erhöht (Beispiel Currywurst Euro 4,50!), dass wir uns zukünftig anderweitig versorgen werden.

Sehr lecker alles . Die Portionen sind riesig . Man kann telefonisch vorbestellen ohne probleme.. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Ich kann das nur weiter empfehlen .

Mein Lieblingsgrieche, sehr freundliches Personal und es hat noch einen Scharm, der sich schwierig in Bilder festhalten lässt. Ich hoffe das es den Laden in dieser Form noch weitere 40 Jahre geben wird.

Eigentlich eine Pommesbude, allerdings mit angenehmer Musik im Hintergrund. Wird sehr gut besucht und die Portionen sind sehr gross. Man kann vor Ort essen oder das Essen mitnehmen. Lieferservice nach Hause wird nicht angeboten.
