Restaurant Zeus in Krefeld

I would like to eat at Restaurant Zeus, known as Sprudel. However, there is no mention anywhere, except during a recession, that the restaurant is closed for holidays. The website says open! Since I come from Meerbusch, I don't want to drive past there "at random". If you are already using new technologies, you should also use them accordingly. I hope the food is better. I use the stars because there is no other way. But they don't reflect my experience.

We like to eat here, it's just a shame that holiday times aren't listed on the internet, but only on pieces of paper at the restaurant. We were standing in front of a closed door for the second time. 😐

We were there with friends last Sunday and wanted food. Many tables were empty on the terrace and we wanted to sit down, but the waitress immediately told us in harsh words...You can't sit there, we don't have enough staff!!! We asked to put two tables for two together underneath and this was refused. They just left us there like stupid people. Not trying in the slightest and completely unfriendly. We won't eat there again in our lives.

The restaurant with the outdoor area has been very well renovated. There are new seating areas in the outdoor area, which surprised me very positively. The food is very good and you can't complain. A while ago I was a bit disappointed with the food. Now we will definitely come back more often!!

As always, the food was good, the staff courteous, attentive and friendly.

Very cozy, nice in the forest, a bit remote. The food is also very tasty. Best gyros 😀 The staff are super friendly.

Delicious food, when the weather is nice you can eat outside in the middle of the forest.

Not suitable for vegetarians as there is not a single vegetarian main dish on the menu. When asked, they said you could eat starters. Unfortunately, the starter I ordered was so salty that I couldn't eat it. Bread that was no longer fresh was served. Even the non-vegetarian dishes were too salty. Absolutely not recommended.

After a long time, we went to see Zeus in Krefelder Sprudel again. No, that was nothing. Two-class society, everyone knows each other, kiss-kiss, hello. The ouzo is already on the way. Unfortunately we were not one of this clientele. An ouzo was promised and we are still waiting for it today. Starter salad came very quickly, but drinks didn't. Upon request, these came, as did the main course. Here in the restaurant the guest has to repeatedly point out that the glasses are empty, but it takes a while until a drink comes. After three waiters were spoken to, the bill finally arrived. As I said, we were there again.

It was a great, great day. Everything was right. Any time.

Very nice Greek restaurant almost in the middle of the forest. Only an hour's walk to Hülserberg. I was there with 6 children who weren't exactly quiet. The owners were very friendly and loved children. FOOD was delicious, everyone ate it up. I can only recommend

Food OK, but no more, no less. Enough to fill you up, but not nearly as good as it was 20 years ago. I think Mythos is definitely better value for money. Currently the best Greek in Krefeld for me.

We've been coming here for years. The food is mostly delicious and it's not as fussy as other Greeks. The portions could be a bit larger in some cases. The service is very warm. The surrounding area invites you to take long walks.

On Saturday I was at Krefelder Sprudel for the first time in several years, and it is now home to a Greek restaurant. I arrived there with the expectations of a normal Greek and was very positively surprised after the meal. There were six of us and we had different starters and different main courses. Everything was very tasty, plentiful without being too much and also served very attractively. I know 4/5 Greeks in Krefeld, the Zeus restaurant is by far the best for me so far! Only the somewhat inconvenient card payment is not up to date, but ultimately acceptable. The route, which was not obvious to me, was more than worth it and I will definitely come back.

Very good price + performance ratio. The food is simply great. Good management and a great team. Have been regular customers for many years.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't special. Meat lukewarm, fries soggy. Side salad is very lean, so it's better not to serve it. There were 8 of us and everyone was dissatisfied with the food. The service was very impatient with older people and the lady was generally very unfriendly. Ouzo probably only gets some guests, it's not part of the house here. The restaurant has slacked off extremely. We wouldn't recommend it to anyone anymore

Great value, great taste and super service.

It was very tasty, everything happened very quickly that day. We hardly had to wait and the atmosphere was perfect.

The food is plentiful, not bad, but nothing special either. There is still room for improvement in terms of service; Kindness is different. Anyone who loves mediocrity will be satisfied here. An electric Cash receipt will not be provided!!

It has been our “regular Greek” for about 2 years now and I don’t want to miss it. Great food, super friendly service and a great ambience. Thank you for everything!

Zeus has been a great and delicious restaurant for years. The service is very good and, as you would expect from Greeks, very warm, funny and accommodating. There is one point of criticism when it comes to food: the dishes are much too big. You definitely don't go home hungry! Unfortunately, it is usually no longer possible to make such food warm at home and so it has to be thrown away. The location on the edge of the forest is particularly beautiful in summer and spring

Für mich gibt es aber viel bessere griechische Restaurants in der Umgebung. Das ist natürlich Geschmacksache.

Gutes Essen zu einem fairen Preis

Sehr freundliches und sehr aufmerksames Personal, Hunde dürfen mit ins Restaurant, Essen war sehr gut. Ich habe so ein Gyros bis jetzt noch nie gegessen. Es war nicht trocken bzw. tot gegart. Es war saftig und schmeckte hervorragend. Meine Frau und ich komme wieder.

Gemütliches griechisches Restaurant in sehr schöner Natur gelegen, lädt nach dem Essen zu einem schönen Verdauungsspaziergang ein 😊

Essen ist ok, aber nicht toll. Was mich gestört hat, war der Service. Nicht sehr freundlich und umsichtig. Ich habe mich nicht wohl gefühlt.

Ein tolles Lokal Wir haben draußen gesessen. Die Speicherkarte ist seit Corona reduziert, was aber nicht schlimm ist. Ich habe die Lammhaxe gegessen, die wie immer super war. Wir weder immer wieder dort essen gehen 👍👍

Wir sind und waren schön öfter hier. Die Familie ist super liebenswert und extrem auf zack. Leider wie fast überall Personalmangel, sodass manchmal ein wenig längere Wartezeiten entstehen. Aber nicht weiter schlimm ganz tolle Lage im Wald und damit auch im heißen Sommer sehr angenehm draußen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

Ein sehr schöner Ort zum Speisen und verweilen. Im Schatten der Bäume ringsherum, kann man gutes Essen genießen. Der Service war freundlich und zuverlässig, promp. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Und freuen uns schon auf das gute Essen.

Wir sind seid 2015 Stammgäste und gehen hier sehr oft essen. Das Essen ist einfach super lecker und das Personal sehr nett. Wir haben hier sogar unserer Hochzeit gefeiert und wir waren sehr begeistert. Wir gehen hier sehr gerne hin.👍🏼🌳☀️

Gestern (9.8.23) zum ersten Mal dort gewesen, obwohl ich Ur-Krefelder bin. Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal und die Umgebung ist auch einfach toll. Ich komme gerne wieder. 👍🏽

Wir kommen schon, seit mehr als 25 Jahren, gerne immer wieder hierher. Das Essen ist lecker, der Service prima, auf Sonderwünsche wird problemlos eingegangen und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut. Wir haben hier schon Geburtstage und die Goldene Hochzeit der Eltern gefeiert, auch diese Feiern waren gut organisiert und für uns ein Erlebnis.

Sehr lecker und das Ambiente draußen ist auch sehr gemütlich. Leider hinkte der Service ordentlich hinterher.

Gehen seit Jahren zum Sprudel. Bedienung (Chefin)immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Personal aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen Geschmacklich lecker, die Größen gut,der Beilagensalat könnte etwas liebevoller auf dem Teller liegen, sieht öfters lustlos drauf gelegt aus. Preisleistung okay. Außenbereich große Terasse.

Ein leckerer Zeitvertreib in schöner Umgebung

Wir (zu zweit) waren das erste Mal dort. Liegt sehr schön am Wald. Essen sehr lecker und gut. Für unseren Geschmack sehr gut. Der Service war Klasse, sehr freundlich und zuvorzukommen. Wir haben uns das restliche Essen, weil es für uns zuviel war, einpacken lassen und es beim verlassen vergessen. Die Chefin kam uns hinterher zum Auto und hat uns das Essen noch gebracht. TOP!!! Wir kommen garantiert wieder!
