The best Greek far and wide. No mass processing, nice staff and really good cuisine.

Service freundlich, Preise moderat, Essen fanden wir leider nicht so lecker. Beispiele: Souvlaki eher trocken und zu wenig Geschmack. Salat wie Eisbergsalat ohne Geschmack, ungewürzt. Öl und Essig (leider nicht lecker) auf Nachfrage. Brot ok. Ambiente locker, aber nichts Besonderes. Hört sich alles hart und sehr kritisch an, war halt unserer Eindruck. Es auch besser, bei gleichem Preisniveau, z.B. in Düsseldorf. Insgesamt eher meh.

Been invited here for the 2nd time. Food was very good. In both cases we were not pre-registered and from the second time onwards we were very politely made aware of this but still got a place. The food was very tasty in both cases. Prices cheap and reasonable. Very nice and clean atmosphere with friendly and polite staff. So far I can only say praise. In the summer we are outside. Now inside. However, it's not entirely handicapped accessible... But they still make an effort to find solutions as far as possible... as far as I could observe.

The selected starters and main courses were well prepared, visually appealing and sufficient. There was hardly anything to complain about in terms of taste. The service is impeccable. Owners and staff are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is functional and could be a little more comfortable. Nevertheless, highly recommended.

Nach Inhaberwechsel zum ersten Mal dort, Im Vergleich zu früheren Besuchen leider enttäuschend. Pommes als Beilage zu fast allen Gerichten, Souvlaki trocken, Leber zäh, Gyros wie frittiert, Lammkotelett nicht gegrillt. Keine Nachfrage zur Zufriedenheit. Schade um das Lokal.

Es ist ein Vergnügen hier zu speisen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Mann wird gut beraten. Die Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und sind sehr schmackhaft. Für uns ein exzellentes griechisches Restaurant.

Sat outside in the beer garden and had fun including observing the surrounding environment. The food was delicious and the price/performance ratio was right compared to other regions. The service could have discovered the empty plates a little sooner, but we were always served promptly when we spoke to them. Of course the obligatory uzo should not be missing. The tavern can't do anything about the ambience

We sat outside under the large parasols in the very warm weather and enjoyed the delicious food and the very friendly, humorous service. The location is in the city center, but not on a main road, but relatively quiet. There is a small parking lot right next to the chairs, which is a bit annoying. The prices are slightly higher.

Super delicious food. Price-performance is also great. Even though everything was occupied, the innkeeper tried to find an immediate solution. Unfortunately, the quiet little place was not barrier-free/poor. But here too, the staff took care of things and found a solution in a neighboring restaurant. Thank you for the lovely evening. We look forward to being guests again in autumn 😊.

For us you are the best! The quality and taste of the food is always consistently phenomenally high and delicious! This is NOT a french fries snack, like in many large shops, but always freshly prepared. You can't be beaten when it comes to friendliness and warmth, you can tell straight away that you do it with all your heart. Personally, I prefer the simple, authentic furnishing style of a tavern a thousand times over chic and nothing behind it. You also made the day of our wedding perfect for our “small group” and made it an unforgettable, special day with and with friends. We can only give you our recommendation to everyone and will continue to recommend you.

The Pelion is now one of the oldest Greek establishments in Krefeld and was a family business that has now passed into other hands for some time. It's still decent and we continue to eat there every now and then and are satisfied. The boss personally cares about the well-being of his guests.

The staff was super nice from start to finish. Food was great, nothing to complain about. They have a good selection and a very good portion. You get full. Unfortunately, one or two beggars were negative. Okay, it's just like in every city. Nevertheless, the staff always send them away in a friendly manner. And as usual with Greeks, I missed the ouzo at the end. Maybe introduce that. Definitely coming back.

Pelion is our first choice for large dishes. Serve yourself a table beforehand...there are also a few outside.

I celebrated my birthday here with 10 people. A reservation was made easily by telephone. Our main course was brought out to everyone at the same time. The food tasted very good! The new tenant family is doing a wonderful job here. Friendliness, cleanliness and a lot of love when preparing the dishes ensured that we had an unforgettable evening in Pelion. Thank you!

Netter, herzlicher Empfang, sehr gute Grillgerichte, die landestypischen, absolut tadellosen Vorspeisen. Man kann eigentlich sorglos alles bestellen, hier gibt es eine wirklich gute Küche. Der Service ist prompt, man wird gut beraten und bekommt, wenn man nur fragt, auch Dinge ausserhalb der Speisekarte. Bei warmem Wetter sitzt man draußen schön ruhig, demnächst soll unter Wegfall einiger Parkplätze der Sitzbereich erweitert und begrünt werden, was sicher ein Gewinn ist.

The Pelion has changed hands. The cuisine has actually gotten even better - they have reinvented the saganaki, absolutely perfect, and there are even more starters...e.g. Kolokithokeftedes, as well as butter-tender Iberico pork from the grill, which was not available before. A master griller, the owner/chef. Very tasty tsipouro. Definitely sufficient portions. Very warm service.

We were looking forward to a lovely evening in a Greek restaurant. Since we didn't make a reservation, our table was in the restaurant. (So: reserve!). My partner had a mixed starter plate that was not listed on the menu as her main course. The plate was filled with grilled vegetables and other Greek specialties. She thought it was really delicious. I had a plate from the menu. I particularly loved the gyro as it was crispy but not too fatty! We'll be back, but with a reservation to sit outside 😅!

A small family run restaurant one street away from the spooky pedestrian street. The Greek cuisine is absolutely convincing: meat grilled to perfection, the starters and desserts genuine craftsmanship with great taste. The always attentive service can be reached with a wave, and prices are more than fair. An excellent Greek restaurant.

With the change of ownership, the price/performance ratio has fallen to a very low level. Quantity, taste and lack of care in service are the reasons for not visiting this restaurant again.

[Update wegen Inhaberwechsel im November 2023] Unverändert freundlicher Service. Wir bestellen normalerweise nicht nach Karte, sondern das, worauf wir Lust haben. Das funktioniert auch unter der neuen Führung gut. Das Essen ist im Grunde auch nicht zu beanstanden, aber es ist eben keine besondere Empfehlung wert. Das Ambiente geht nun eher in Richtung einer gut geführten Pommesbude, wobei gefühlt das Meiste tatsächlich aus der Friteuse kommt. Gegenüber jemandem, der einen gemütlichen Abend mit Freunden bei einem Glas Wein und leckerem griechischen Essen verbringen möchte, würde ich eher Vorbehalte äußern. Ungemütliches, helles, grellweißes Licht. Die Musik ist zu laut, wodurch sich natürlich auch die Gäste lauter unterhalten. Die Kleidung darf nach dem Besuch sofort komplett in die Wäsche, weil man so riecht, als hätte man den halben Tag selbst an der Friteuse gestanden. Trotz großer Sympathie für Inhaber und Personal muss ich leider für den Augenblick sagen: Danke, aber nein danke. Unter dem Strich liegt das Pilion aber nicht etwa unter dem Durchschnitt, sondern eher unter meinen persönlichen Wünschen und Erwartungen.

Super Ambiente super lecker Essen Immer wieder gerne

Wir haben das Pilion in den letzten 12 Jahren regelmäßig besucht und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Als der Pächter im Oktober wechselte, haben wir uns sehr gewünscht, dass es weiterhin ein Lokal mit typisch griechischer Küche bleibt, wie man sie aus griechischen Tavernen kennt. Unser Wunsch wurde erfüllt: Leckeres Essen in gastfreundlichem Ambiente und mit gutem Service.🇬🇷🥰

Leider nicht mehr die Qualität die es mal hatte. Personal desinteressiert und eher im Freizeitlook. Schade um einen Griechen den wir gerne zu besonderen Anlässen besucht haben.

Der Kellner sehr sehr nett, essen sehr sehr zufrieden, ich kann nur jeden der in Krefeld oder im Umkreis wohnt nur empfehlen hier essen zu kommen!!!!!

5 Sterne für ein griechisches Restaurant? Im Kontext zu griechischen Restaurants in Krefeld, trifft dies zu. Die Qualität der Speisen kann eindeutig mit anderen, deutlich hochpreisigeren Restaurants mithalten. Das Fleisch zart und perfekt gebraten. Insgesamt die Speisen stark gewürzt, sollte nicht stärker gewürzt werden. Der Inhaber hat gewechselt und bemüht sich eine höhere Qualität als beim Vorgänger zu etablieren, obwohl diese dort schon ordentlich war. Im Moment kann ich die Taverna Pilion wirklich als besuchenswert empfehlen. Hoffentlich hält das Niveau eine Zeit lang an und wird auch von den Krefeldern entsprechend genutzt.

Na wat zoeken in voor ons onbekende stad Krefeld kwamen we in dit Griekse restaurant uit. Er was nog één tafeltje vrij. Die werd eerst schoon gemaakt en we konden plaats nemen. Er werd direct een ouzo aangeboden. Uitgebreide menu kaart. Onze keuzes pakten erg goed uit. Goede kwaliteit en smaak. Ook een gezellig restaurant met leuke bediening. We zijn de volgende dag wederom hiernaartoe gegaan en het was al weer geweldig.

Wir wohnen in der Nachbarschaft und waren hier schon oft zu Gast. Sehr gutes Essen, kühle Getränke, nette Atmosphäre, freundliche Bedienung. Familienbetrieb. Im Sommer mit schön möblierter Terrasse. Klare Empfehlung.

Wir waren mit Freunden dort zum Abendessen. Ich hatte schon viel Gutes über das Restaurant gehört, war aber noch nie dort. Wir hatten einen gemütlichen Platz in der Ecke und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Essen war durch die Bank gut und die Bedienung immer freundlich. Alles in Allem war es ein gelungener Abend.
