We had booked a table for 8 p.m. at Niklaus in the evening. When we got there, we were greeted by a very unfriendly white-haired waiter, he pointed to the table and said, There, you just called. Drinks came very quickly, the side salad was very manageable and, what we can't understand, it Wasn't even asked about allergies. We were then served the food (grilled plate) cold, the gyros with Metaxa sauce and cheese gratinated was hot but there was very little of the sauce to be seen, let alone the taste, an imposition that is unparalleled. My grill plate is a mess. So we've never experienced anything like this before. The grill plate was complained about, and a red-haired waitress offered to make me a new meal, which I said no, saying, we've waited so long for our cold meal, how long should we wait for a hot meal? we are hungry. When it came to paying, I asked the white-haired waiter what was going on with the grilled plate that I hadn't eaten and asked for the manager after a very unfriendly answer, to which I replied very rudely that I didn't have to babble so much and then the food would be fine hot, and I had to pay in full, and then I could talk to the managing director, but as it later turned out, he was supposedly not in the house, which, according to my information, is not legal and can lead to the loss of the license. So one star is for the restaurant!!! Too much and we will no longer enter this place, let alone recommend it to others. We can't recommend anything except the drinks, but they don't make them ourselves!! Oh, we wanted to go out to eat there with a larger group on Christmas Day, which seems to have been sorted out today, at least for us. Every chip shop makes better and, above all, hot food. My recommendation if you want to eat tastefully hot and prepared food (even with a salad bar) gyros in Metaxa sauce and other delicacies, go to El Greco in Kerpen Balkhausen Heerstraße.

Ordered a gyro plate and was really disappointed. Lukewarm, definitely just warmed up and there was a piece of plastic in the salad. Not recommended!
