Unfortunately, not suitable for vegetarians… There wasn't a single vegetarian main course on the menu, and after repeated requests, I was offered one consisting of vegetables and potatoes. The staff was understaffed and couldn't really help… It's a real shame the menu offers so little variety.

Genuinely one of the best meals we’ve had. We went for an anniversary dinner and it was just perfect… one of those experiences that we will compare everything else to for years to come.

Upscale atmosphere. We visited in December and stayed indoors. I imagine it's lovely on the terrace overlooking the Rhine in the summer. The food and service were good. Overall, it was a bit too expensive for us. The location must certainly involve a higher rent.

I'm giving it 5/5 stars because 4/5 would be unfair, even though not everything was absolutely perfect. We had a reservation and were shown to our table right on time. It seems they had decorated for an event before our visit, as there was still a little confetti on the chair. Overall, we had several waiters and one waitress, all of whom were very friendly, attentive, proactive, and efficient. (Espresso was brought with dessert, which we had asked about beforehand; my knife wasn't working properly, but I had a new one within seconds.) We had two appetizers, two main courses, and a dessert. The food was truly delicious and appetizing in terms of quality, taste, and presentation. We also had Lillet, Aperol, wine, and coffee. Everything was really delicious. Only the aperitifs weren't presented with great care (but they were well-mixed). The wine selection is very extensive. It can be a bit overwhelming if you're not very knowledgeable about wine. Our wine was delicious. The bottle was already on our table, and all the waiters refilled our glasses without us even asking—very attentive. The restrooms weren't entirely clean, but that's probably because, theoretically, anyone could walk past the bar unnoticed and use them. The atmosphere in the restaurant was generally very cozy, personal, and pleasantly furnished—just a little noisy (but not too loud). Because of the restrooms, the confetti, and the presentation of the aperitifs, I'm only giving it 4/5. Everything else was highly recommended. The price/performance ratio was also quite reasonable.

The sea bream was delicious, and so was the liver. I had saved your name from before as a Greek restaurant. But I would say you now have an international Mediterranean menu. From goose to schnitzel, souvlaki, pasta dishes, and various salads and appetizers. The service was lovely ❤️ thank you for that!

A beautifully situated restaurant in the Rheinauhafen district. Ample parking is available in the underground garage, although it is quite expensive. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. A visit here is definitely worthwhile!

It has a wonderful seaside atmosphere! The food was excellent, both in presentation and taste. The seafood was especially fresh. Service was fast, and the staff was attentive. Sitting there as the sunset was especially enjoyable; I definitely want to go back.

We were at the restaurant with a group of 15 people and had a truly wonderful evening. We ordered various antipasti – the fish and shrimp were delicious, all fresh and perfectly prepared. We also enjoyed the small appetizers like mussels, octopus, and fried fish. The cocktails were also very well mixed and perfectly complemented the dishes. The relaxed atmosphere with a view of the Rhine was also particularly nice – quiet and pleasant, perfect for enjoying the evening. The food, service, and location were all excellent. We (4 adults) reserved a table inside, but it was easy to sit outside. The ambiance and view were fantastic! The seating was a bit cramped, but it was okay. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the food; we had to leave after an important phone call. However, we didn't find the menu to our liking: an extremely large number of expensive tapas, a few even more expensive plate dishes... You want to be haute cuisine. We weren't sorry about the abrupt departure. Perhaps we had the wrong expectations.

We had a relaxed Prosecco reception right on the banks of the Rhine. Inside: a cozy and modern ambiance. Our group menu was a true culinary delight. We'd go back anytime!

Very good Greek cuisine, refined, we loved all the dishes. They also have very good wines. The restaurant is located along the Rhine with a breathtaking view.

Better not – the seating is very nice (at least on the terrace) and the service was friendly. However, some of the tapas were served cold (unfortunately, there was no apology), and the portions were tiny. And the prices were absolutely exorbitant.

Yesterday, the three of us ate at Limani and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere on the terrace. We received a very friendly welcome and were looked after attentively throughout, making us feel very comfortable. The tapas we chose were very tasty, though they could have been a bit spicier, but that's a matter of taste. I would be happy to come back with guests and will definitely recommend Limani.

Beautiful location on the Rhine, especially on the terrace when the weather is nice... Very tasty food (extensive selection, great taste, good quality). A small misunderstanding with the order, and we had to wait a few times because it was busy (no big deal)...

At least they've had coffee almost every day this (coronavirus) winter. :) I also tried the ice cream today, and I highly recommend the dark chocolate. Hopefully, we'll be able to eat here again soon. Update August 2025: I was here for dinner on the terrace in the summer of 2023 and 2025. The menu offers a wide selection of Mediterranean dishes, and the prices match the good quality. Great view of the Südbrücke and the Rhine.

A visit to Limani in Cologne is always a truly delightful experience. The food is delicious, the wines are exquisite, and the service, especially the wine recommendations, is first-class. Even if we're not from Cologne, a visit to Limani is always planned, even if it means a detour. Thank you for the wonderful and hospitable service.

The food is excellent. The staff and waitresses are very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, it's not always possible to get a spot in the corner of the terrace. While it's a shame not to always be able to sit exactly where you want in such a beautiful restaurant, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a glass of wine, ouzo, or fresh fish by the Rhine.

It has little to do with authentic Greek cuisine. The main courses are very limited and really nothing special – despite the price. The starters weren't particularly enjoyable either. Greek hospitality was nonexistent, and our requests weren't even addressed. We were so looking forward to it, but were completely disappointed in every way. They're only benefiting from their location – this kind of restaurant would have a difficult time anywhere else.

A very beautiful, lively central square that wonderfully enhances the southern part of the city. It's like a vacation in Cologne, complete with cabaret performances at various festivals and markets.

A truly superb location right on the Rhine. Very good starters and delicious main courses. But the waiter we had was a complete disappointment. They didn't pay any attention to us. We had to constantly speak to him to order or receive something. We even said so at the end. The waiter said I had been paying attention to them the whole time. Which was absolutely not true, because we had to raise our hands every time we ordered and call the waiter over. This waiter didn't even make eye contact.

We made a reservation for two people on the terrace. It was one of those extremely hot days. It was quite pleasant on the terrace, however, with a light breeze off the Rhine. However, we limited ourselves to the appetizer menu. It was a good decision: six different appetizers, both hot and cold, which we shared. All delicious. We'll do it again on a more pleasant day, so we can also enjoy the main courses, which are sure to be delicious. Highly recommended.

My colleague has an upset stomach. There's nothing more to say. A week ago, the heating was on at 30 degrees Celsius, but a lack of interest in one's own business is incomprehensible.

There was no sign of typical Greek hospitality in this establishment. Quite the opposite: stressed and sometimes irritated waiters who seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests. The food tasted considerably less than it should. It's a shame, because the location is beautiful.

On April 15, 2025, five of us enjoyed an early dinner at the Greek restaurant located in Cologne's Rheinauhafen harbor. It's generally advisable to reserve a table, which we initially did for the beautiful outdoor terrace with a direct view of the Rhine. Since the weather was unfortunately not good, it was no problem to move indoors, which, thankfully, was initially possible. I know Limani to be always busy in the evenings, where they still try to accommodate such requests, although understandably, this isn't always possible. But now for the truly good Greek food that Limani offers. We opted for the meze, consisting of beetroot salad with goat cheese and mixed roasted seeds; baked feta cheese with peppers, tomatoes, and onions; homemade vine leaves with rice and dill filling and mint yogurt. the grilled octopus with olive oil and oregano and the "Smyrneika" meatballs with mint in tomato sauce. This was served with plenty of bread with excellent olive oil. At the children's request, they served it with coarsely cut fries. From the excellent selection of meze, we sometimes ordered individual dishes multiple times, all of which tasted absolutely fantastic. This way, everyone could try a variety of dishes, which was especially important to us for the children present, as they should learn about cultures and associated cuisines. Unfortunately, I can't offer many more photos, as we were so hungry that I only managed to take them at the very end... so almost everything is gone. :-) The atmosphere at Limani is very cozy, especially in the evening, and when the weather is good, the elevated outdoor terrace is truly stunning, with a view of the Rhine. The service is always nice, friendly, attentive, and unobtrusive. If you're coming to Cologne and want to eat in a cozy atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle, but still within walking distance of the Rhine, you should head to Limani. I'll be back again and again. Dear Limani team, please keep up the good work.

We went to Limani yesterday to celebrate my wife's birthday. And it was an absolute hit! We had a fantastic evening all around. Extremely friendly welcome. Fast, friendly, competent, courteous and attentive service from staff. The guest really is king here. The food was beautifully presented and from starter to main course it was first class! Very tasty and everything is highly recommended! The whole place is highly recommended!! The prices are also absolutely reasonable! Great quality! There was not a single point of criticism! For €300 we had a fantastic evening in a fantastic restaurant with a lovely terrace, fantastic view of the Rhine, great food and great staff! It was worth every cent! It won't be our last time at Limani!!! See for yourselves. Limani is absolutely recommended without a single point of criticism, first class!!!!! TOP restaurant! Keep it up....

So close to the Rhine, a balanced menu, and a great atmosphere! Both the mezes and the main courses of Duroc pork and lamb chops were excellently prepared and perfectly seasoned! The wine list leaves nothing to be desired, with one or two surprises (Greek). It's always worth dining there. 8 points! ;-)

I stopped by for lunch with my two brothers and my son for my mother's 79th birthday. Very friendly service and excellent food. Highly recommended.

The turbot fillet was dry, the puree lukewarm, with some blanched broccoli and a small dollop of sauce. My husband's steak was good, but the mushrooms were extremely salty/over-seasoned, and the gratin was dry. In my opinion, neither main course was worth the price. The other guests both had different starters, which were also rather mediocre in taste, but better than the two main courses. The waiter didn't ask us if we were satisfied until everyone had already finished... I found it very annoying that the service staff behind the counter were emptying the dishwasher and loading full crates of drinks at a very loud volume and with a high level of distortion, and at times they turned the music up to an unpleasant volume. The restrooms are very dirty. I tried in good faith, but there won't be a third time in this place.

We were outside on the course, so it wasn't as highly rated as inside.

Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio of the food isn't up to par. We were extremely satisfied with the staff and the attentive service, as well as the location with the elevated terrace. The ambiance could be a bit more refined. Dried/fading flowers were on the table. One of the staircases was blocked, and a dirty corner was forming.
