A truly fantastic restaurant! The wine selection is excellent and perfectly matched to the dishes (fresh fish or classic Greek). The appetizers (the scallops) were a particular highlight – fresh, varied, and incredibly delicious. The ambiance is stylish yet cozy, making you feel immediately at home. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. The value for money is excellent. Highly recommended – we'd love to come back!

We celebrated our civil wedding at the Aphrodite in a small circle of around 20 people and were completely impressed from the planning to the execution. The initial consultation with Raphael really gave us a very positive feeling that we would have a wonderful day at the Aphrodite. Over a communal glass of wine, Raphael worked with us to put together a completely customized menu, ensuring that every guest, even those with health restrictions due to food intolerances, had something to suit them. The wine list he prepared for us also completely met our expectations. Special requests such as our own flower arrangements and other special requests were also no problem at all. On the day of the ceremony, the entire staff took really excellent care of all our guests and ensured that everyone received something to eat and drink in a timely manner. Even minor special requests were accommodated without hesitation (it's worth asking!). We had a truly outstanding day with excellent food at the Aphrodite. The feedback from our guests confirmed this throughout. Everyone felt very well looked after and certainly didn't go home hungry. We will definitely come back!

The Aphrodite restaurant completely impressed me! Anyone who comes here shouldn't expect a run-of-the-mill Greek tavern, but rather modern, creative cuisine with Mediterranean influences – and of the highest quality. A special highlight: the cod – crispy on the outside, buttery tender on the inside, perfectly seasoned, and served with a wonderfully light side dish. The burger is also an absolute highlight: juicy meat, homemade sauces, fresh bread – simply perfect. The ambience is both stylish and cozy, with great attention to detail. You immediately feel at home. The service? Top-notch! Friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unobtrusive – just right. The quality of the ingredients is noticeably high, and you can feel it with every bite. A nice glass of wine or a cold beer – what more could you want? Aphrodite isn't a place for standard dishes, but for true connoisseurs. Those who appreciate good food are guaranteed to be happy here. Another highlight is the restaurant's own parking space and the train connection right outside. I'll definitely be back – and bring friends!

We visited two weeks ago with very high expectations and must honestly admit that the food was a complete disappointment. We paid a total of €189.42 for two people. For prices like that, you'd expect Michelin-starred cuisine. It's nowhere near justified. And the restaurant wasn't even full. I don't usually write reviews, but this just won't leave my mind. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby that cost around €120 for two people but offer significantly better quality and delicious food.

Positive: very friendly service, very good food. Negative: overly ambitious prices, and instead of a bill, we received an "interim invoice" without VAT/without TSE.

I haven't been to this restaurant for a long time, so I was excited to see what it would be like. I can definitely say that my friends and I were not disappointed. The welcome is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and you can eat both inside and outside on the terrace. The menu is relatively short, but that also shows that the dishes are freshly prepared. There is an excellent selection of wine and other drinks. We really enjoyed all of the dishes. My only small criticism is the price. A bit too much for the amount offered. That could be changed, as the quality is definitely good. Fancy some Greek food? Then you must try Aphrodite.

Food: 6/10. I expected a bit more from this place, but the food was disappointing. Simple food can be great, but I didn't experience that here. While the staff was great, the atmosphere was also very good.

One of a kind. A very good menu with high-quality Greek and Mediterranean dishes. The octopus is a 12/10, and the grilled meats are a treat every time. Super friendly, attentive service in a pleasant atmosphere. Top-notch restaurateurs!

On May 25th, I asked for a reservation for 5 people...zero customer service, no reservation confirmation, no response. So, I won't be asking for a reservation at this restaurant again.

I went there spontaneously with a friend. The food tasted wonderful; the meat was of very high quality and cooked to perfection. The side dishes and salad were also fresher and more lovingly prepared than you'd usually find in a Greek restaurant. The service was also very personable and friendly. I would gladly return next time I'm in Cologne. High praise!

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The server named "Albert" was amazing – very professional and friendly. The entire team was welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

The restaurant is basically okay. However, for us the price/performance ratio is not right: the starters, desserts and the wine selection in particular drive up the overall price exorbitantly. For the total price for two people, you would expect a lot more in the end. The food is OK but not spectacular. Apparently Junkersdorf meets here to show off. There are better restaurants for the same money... It's a shame, we were hoping for more. The service was very nice, but in the end that's not enough.

Extremely nice and attentive waiter. Had bifteki, crown of lamb, salmon fillet and fish'n'chips, rice pudding for dessert. Everything was very tasty, the seating was very nice and not too cramped. Gladly again.

After a long time I visited this restaurant again. And I found that the high standards were maintained in this restaurant. An excellent wine selection, the food was outstanding and a great selection of the same. I once again felt very comfortable in this house. And if you just don't feel like going out to eat in the middle of the city center. You can also find an excellent restaurant on the border between Braunsfeld and Junkers Dorf. That invites you to linger and that offers a large selection of culinary delights.

Nice restaurant, a bit too noisy and poor value for money Grill plate for €31 was cold and the potatoes were inedible, bottle of beer without a glass was €4.50 When I asked if it was tasty, I was told "Potatoes can't be fresh" and the meat in the snack bar is hot and cheaper in my opinion.

Mediocre food and below-average service at high prices reflects my image of the store. At least the wine selection is impressive.

A much larger selection of dishes could be found on the Internet. I can understand reducing a menu for special occasions - but you should leave specific dishes on it. May 2024: nice restaurant in Braunsfeld or Müngersdorf. Nice atmosphere, attentive waiters. It could use a little more inspiration and definitely higher prices! Reservations in advance are definitely recommended. I have known the restaurant for over 20 years and it has developed into a popular restaurant... easy to reach by tram (KVB line 1). Parking is rather difficult

Food good, ambience excessive. The menu was not Greek as we expected.

Cheers to convenience products. The ambience and the prices give hope for good cuisine. But far from it. My wife had fish and chips, yes she just wanted it. Pour the stuff from the bag into the fryer and the dish is almost ready. The salad also came out of the bag. The delicious dressing had crept to the bottom. I had the fillet skewer with the same "chips" with a little rosemary seasoning. The 3 fillet pieces were, as usual in very southern countries, well cooked and a little poor "Al Dente". You could drink the 0.15 liter open Spanish red wine for €7.50. Fish and chips for €23 as well as the fillet skewer for €24 and the large bottle of water for €8 totaled a whopping €62.20. And all for a good chip shop Level!!!The service was nice but not outstanding. I don't have to have that again.

I had sea bass and my companion was the typical Greek fish'n'chips. Both excellent. The starter (bread with various dips) was also great. Very attentive and pleasant service.

Weihnachten, Weihnachtessen mit Sonderkarte für diese speziellen Feiertage. Sehr gutrs Essen bekommen. Das Fleisch und das Gemüse waren auf den Punkt zubereitet. Sehr schmackhaft, das gilt für alle am Tisch servierten Gerichte. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Beim nàchsten Kölnbesuch werden wir noch einmal hier einkehren.

Seit 7 Jahren gehe ich hin, toll! Immer noch genauso phantastischer frischer Fisch, leckere Vorspeisen. Alle Weinempfehlungen haben bisher für mich funktioniert. Man sitzt drinnen und draußen sehr gut und gemütlich. Aphrodite gehört zu meinen absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants. Die ganze Familie hilft mit, man kennt sich. Kleine Warnung, das hier ist kein "Standard-Grieche", sondern eher etwas gehobene Küche (zw. 14 und 27 EUR für die Hauptgerichte). Leute, die viel Essen für kleines Geld suchen, können den Grillteller essen oder woanders hin gehen.

Sehr schönes Ambiente! Freundlicher Service u stehts parat wenn nötig ! Es wi3d mit ausgesprochen frischen Zutaten sehr gekonnt gekocht ! Kommen sehr gerne wieder !

Moderne, sehr gute griechische Küche, mit Top Service, tolle Weinauswahl, einfach gut gemacht !

Unser Besuch liegt ca. 3 Wochen entfernt. Der Service war wie immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich muss leider sagen (bzw schreiben), dass die Preise (Inflation hin oder her) ein "bisschen" überzogen/ überteuert sind. Für das "legendäre" Bifteki mit Kartoffelspalten und einem Salat aus dem Paket mit einem industriellen Dressing werden mittlerweile EUR 22,00 abgerufen!!!!! Das ist echt zu viel und steht nicht im Verhältnis zur Qualität: Der Schafskäse-Anteil in der Bulette lässt sich mit einen Käsewürfel in einem Salat vergleichen. Das Fleisch war total überwürtzt und korktrocken!!! Etliche Fleischspeisen liegen deutlich über EUR 30,-/ EUR 35,- Die sanitären Anlagen sind sehr renovierungsbedürftig und die Stufen dorthin sollten einfach regelmäßig gereinigt werden. Schade.

Servizio eccellente, La cucina presenta dei bei Piatti, purtroppo "umami" è una parola sconosciuta e il menù non è scritto correttamente,ordino un Lammkarre e arriva senza ossa, uno chiude un occhio, ma poi assaggio la carne, sicuramente saporita ma tra nervosa e gommosa. Il pesce buono, ma troppo cotto. Carta dei vini eccellente, molti prezzi da stellato, altri da trattoria. Fazit: In attesa che la cucina si adegui al resto, con prudenza si può venire a bere qualcosa di buono.

Kommen soeben von einem sehr schönen Abend dort, sehr nettes Serviceteam, sehr gut gegessen, toller Rosé dazu. Unbedingt Moussaka essen und dann raten, welches Gewürz die Aphrodite-Version so besonders macht!

Beste Griechisch mediterrane Küche in Köln. Service Perfekt!!!!!! Familiengeführt seit über 30 Jahren. Frischer, sehr guter Fisch. Sehr gut abgestimmte Fleischgerichte. Sehr gute Weine-gute Beratung- inkludiert. Sensationelle Terrasse im Sommer. Wir kommen immer sehr gerne und mit Freude. Ein Gruß aus der Küche, perfekt!!!! Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im kleinen Kreis bei Aphrodite gefeiert. Wir hatten den Nebenraum ganz für uns und das Team hat den Tag für uns zu einem wunderschönen Erlebnis gemacht. Das Essen war wie immer super lecker und der Service war unglaublich aufmerksam. Auch die Absprache vorab war ganz unkompliziert und wir haben uns einfach rundum wohl gefühlt. Sehr gutes Essen. Gehobenes griechisches Restaurant mit sehr angenehmen Ambiente.

Griechisch ist hier vor allem der Name. Gyros, Moussaka u.v.a. sucht man hier vergebens. Bifteki gibt es allerdings und das schmeckt auch hervorragend.

Er werd water geserveerd zonder ijsblokjes en het was erg warm. Het eten was heerlijk, de bediening vriendelijk.

Wir waren zu dritt in der Aphrodite essen. Der Service war perfekt und alle Gänge waren sehr lecker. Es war auch sehr schön, wie die Tische mit weißen Tischdecken eingedeckt waren. Gerne immer wieder.

Essen war überteuert und vergleichbar mit einer Kinderportion. Auf der steuerlich nicht korrekten Rechnung ohne Umsatzteuer wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, das der Service in der Rechnung nicht enthalten ist. Alles sehr sehr komisch. Macht man nicht.

Es war ein sehr gutes Essen. Super freundliche Bedienung. Es gibt garnichts bzw. wenig zu bemängeln.

Leider leider nicht mehr das alte Aphrodite, waren 10 Jahre zu allen Anlässen und auch Hochzeit da. Nun ein viel zu hochpreisiger Laden mit kleinen Portionen und merkwürdigen bis arroganten Kellnern....

Sehr schönes, aber dezent eingerichtes Restaurant mit überaus freundlichem Personal und sehr leckeren Essen. Für Eltern interessant: Kleinkinder dürfen herumspielen und sich unter Tischen und an kleinen Stufen ausprobieren.

Das Essen war grundsätzlich sehr gut, nur leider kalt!! Auf unsere Reklamation hin bekamen wir 10 Minuten später zusätzliche heiße Bratkartoffeln aber ohne Entschuldigung. Der Kellner war extrem hochnäsig und arrogant.

Dies ist sicherlich der beste Grieche in Köln. Es gibt sehr gutes Essen. Und man kann mit Sicherheit sagen dass es auch einen tollen Wein gibt. Das einzige was es vielleicht zu bemängeln gibt, ist dass die Preise in letzter Zeit ein wenig sehr angezogen haben. Aber dafür bekommt man auch top Qualität und einen sehr netten Service.

Ein Kellner war total unfreundlich und überfordert. Das Essen war lecker nur der Preis war viel zu hoch für das was man bekommen hat.

Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier im Aphrodite verbracht. Selten haben wir so entspannt ,gut gegessen und sind so nett bedient worden. Ein vollkommen abgerundeter Abend. Zwischen festlichen Menus und `a la carte konnten wir ( bis 10 Personen) wählen. Es war klassische griechische Küche sowie gehobene mediterrane dabei. Großes Lob von der Praxis Dr.Miebach.... 👍👍👍
