Das beste Restaurant Plomari Köln

Portionen sind recht klein und billig sind sie auch nicht. Service läßt zu wünschen übrig. Wir waren zu fünf Personen und es kam keiner an den Tisch und fragte ob jemand noch etwas trinken möchte.

Glutenfrei essen ist problematisch.

Unser letzter Stopp im Rahmen unserer Bulli-Tour "Liebe deine Stadt" war das Plomari – und besser hätte man den Abend wirklich nicht ausklingen lassen können. Wir waren besonders begeistert vom Inhaber Andreas, der uns mit seiner herzlichen griechischen Gastfreundschaft sofort willkommen geheißen hat. Man hat sich von Anfang an umsorgt und wohlgefühlt, fast wie bei Freunden. Genau diese persönliche Art hat den Abend für uns zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Das Essen war super lecker, die Atmosphäre entspannt und gemütlich, und dank Andreas Humor und Herzlichkeit wurde der Abend perfekt abgerundet. Wir sind sehr dankbar, dass wir euer tolles Konzept über die Bulli-Tour kennenlernen durften – absolut empfehlenswert und jederzeit wieder!

Ausgezeichnetes Essen!! Schmeckt wie in Griechenland 🇬🇷 Sauber, alles ist bestens gepflegt. Der Besitzer, Andreas, ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und gestaltet sogar die Präsentation der Speisekarte ansprechend!

Als Grieche muss ich sagen, dass das Essen hier sehr gut ist. Ehrlich, so muss es doch sein.

Das Essen bei Andreas und seinem Team ist immer mit sehr viel Liebe und Herzlichkeit gemacht und angerichtet. Die Location ist auch super für Geburtstage oder andere Feiern mit größeren Gruppen geeignet. Es gibt einen etwas "separateren" Raum, in dem man sitzen kann. Die Preise der Speisen sind mit Blick auf die Aromen und die Zubereitung absolut gerechtfertigt. Wir waren schon häufig dort und kommen immer gerne wieder!

Wir waren zu zweit dort und kommen auf alle Fälle wieder. Das Essen war sehr gut und der Service außerordentlich aufmerksam. Andreas ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Wer griechische Küche abseits von Gyros und Co mag, wird hier fündig werden.

Das Essen war frisch und sehr lecker. Die Speisekarte ist sehr übersichtlich. Leider hatten wir vom Service her das Gefühl abgearbeitet zu werden. Vielleicht ist das auch der Grund warum wir zu diesem Zeitpunkt (Donnerstags, 20:00 Uhr) die einzigen Gäste waren.

Bingo Abend mit Boris im Plomari, Stimmung ist super und das Essen auch super authentisch und lecker. Eine Empfehlung. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben die Veranstaltung XXL Bingo im Plomari besucht (35€ pro Person). Es war das verstörendste Event, welches wir jemals besucht haben. Völlig überbucht und die Bingoveranstaltung hat sich nur in der einen Hälfte des Restaurants abgespielt. Resultat: die andere Hälfte der Gäste hat nichts mitbekommen und war vollständig genervt. Nach Beschwerde beim Kellner des Plomari wurde man nur genervt angepflaumt. Sorry, aber so ein Ansprechverhalten ist völlig unprofessionell. Die Getränke haben zudem 40 Minuten auf sich warten lassen und Boris (der Moderator) ist nur laut schreiend durch die Gegend gelaufen. Wirklich die unangenehmste Erfahrung an Events, die wir jemals hatten.

Wir waren heute zum ersten mal persönlich im Restaurant Plomari und werden sicher wieder kommen Vom freundlichen Empfang, über die nette und aufmerksame Bedienung, die bequemen Stühle und Bänke stimmt hier alles. Das Essen ein Traum, geschmacklich und optisch. Ich hatte Spinatbällchen, Lammspieße und Schafskäse in Sesamkruste mit einem Hauch Honig. Absolut köstlich. Mein Mann war von seinem gefüllten Bifteki mit Grillgemüse ebenso begeistert. Das Tzaziki so cremig und schmackhaft!. Auch eine gute Weinauswahl, was nicht selbstverständlich ist in griechischen Restaurants. Die Küche ist gehoben. Gyros und Pomnes gibt es hier nicht. Zum Abschied noch ein Ouzo aufs Haus und der Chef hat uns persönlich verabschiedet und zur Tür gebracht. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Klare Empfehlung von uns.

Super leckere Gerichte. Wir haben 6 Mezedes von der Tageskarte, von Auberginen bis Fleisch und Gambas, und den Orangengrießauflauf als Nachtisch probiert. Das Pitabrot nachzubestellen, ist auch empfehlenswert. Der Service ist super nett, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Der Besitzer, nehme ich an, ist total sympathisch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und nicht nur einmal. Wenn griechisch essen, dann nur hier.

5 Sterne. Das Essen war perfekt und die Atmosphäre fantastisch. Alles war großartig.

Wir waren am 26.12.vor Ort. Der Service war sichtlich überfordert. Wir bestellten mit 5 Personen Mezedes und 2 Hauptgerichte. Zuerst kamen Spinatbällchen. Dann kam 30 min nichts mehr! Danach kamen die restlichen Speisen. Das Zatziki kam auch,obwohl es eine Vorspeise sein sollte. Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Bifteki 19.90€ Kleine Moussaka 15.90€

Gestern besuchten wir das Plomari Garden und waren alle restlos begeistert. Ambiente, Freundlichkeit, Service und natürlich das hervorragende Essen, alles war top. Ein großes Lob an das gesamte Team, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder

Wir haben gestern im Restaurant Plomari den Geburtstag meiner Mutter gefeiert und einen wirklich wunderbaren Abend erlebt. Das Essen war herausragend – jede Speise ohne Ausnahme war geschmacklich auf den Punkt und einfach phänomenal Auch der Service war durchweg aufmerksam, sehr freundlich und hat maßgeblich zu der rundum stimmigen Atmosphäre beigetragen. Wir können das Restaurant Plomari uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Alles war perfekt, sehr aufmerksam, besonders das Personal hat mir gefallen, sehr höflich, aber im Allgemeinen war das Essen perfekt, wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Unser Besuch in Plomari war einfach großartig. Wir haben das Weihnachtsfeuer zusammen mit unseren Kollegen besucht und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Besonders der Platz zum Essen hat uns begeistert, denn dort gibt es eine ausgezeichnete griechische Küche. Plomari bleibt für uns ein Ort, an den wir immer wieder gerne zurückkehren.

Excellent food! Excellent staff! Despite the head chef's last-minute illness, all our requests were met! Special praise goes to the owner's very hardworking son, who stepped in at short notice!

The atmosphere is lovely. Everything is newly renovated; the restrooms and the entire decor are very modern and attractive. The food was also delicious, although a bit too greasy for my taste. But that's just my personal opinion. Definitely go! The staff is very friendly and you feel very comfortable there.

My wife and I spontaneously decided to eat there last night (Saturday)! We shared three different meze dishes and a portion of moussaka – everything tasted absolutely delicious – beautifully presented, good portion sizes, and top-quality ingredients. You could immediately taste the excellent quality of the meat in both the meatballs and the moussaka! We got to talking with Andreas, the host – he was friendly and genuine! We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

We were here for the second time today, and we were thrilled again. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly, and the dishes were explained to us in detail. We'll definitely be back.

The food was truly outstanding. I would actually deduct a point because smoking is allowed on the terrace. Please ban it. But the food was so amazing that I can't deduct anything.

The food was delicious. The owner and staff were very attentive and friendly. Despite the busy Luxembourg and Salzburg intersection, the well-shaded terrace was pleasant and made for a pleasant conversation.

The place for the city's data is super design with beautiful materials and a nice Konzept. The staff will need a little Personal Training in terms of service. (Wear a genuine smile helps a lot!) The food is average...

Unfortunately, I had to revise my excellent review from 7 years ago. We loved the old Plomari at its old location (corner of Zülpicher Str. / Gürtel) and have been visiting it regularly for 10 years, looking forward to it every time. Unfortunately, we were completely disappointed at the new location with its new look and decided not to return, but to visit another, very good Greek restaurant with meze in the neighborhood. The new look of Plomari at its new location (corner of Luxemburger Str. / Gürtel) is modern, but has lost its old charm. We sat outside on the terrace. Since it's designed like a "winter garden," it was much too hot, even though it was "only" 25 degrees. We had reserved a table. We arrived, but no one spoke to us. So we went to the bar and mentioned the reservation. We were just told to pick a seat. It wasn't friendly or inviting, and it didn't seem like anything had actually been reserved for us. The two of us sat down at one of the four-person tables in the shade (the two-person tables were very close together and all in the sun). Other guests, who were only there in pairs, were also sitting at four-person tables. Unfortunately, we weren't noticed for another 15 minutes. There were also only two servers for the large restaurant (the old Plomari was much smaller and more comfortable). So, a clear miscalculation... We weren't the only guests who were ignored. Everyone around us was left high and dry. Either their glasses were empty or there weren't any drinks at all. A woman also stood up indignantly and approached the server, annoyed that she had been ignored for 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the employee was also completely uncooperative. There was no "sorry" or anything. She seemed very stressed and disorganized – but also in the wrong profession. She wasn't even friendly. No guests were even looked at. Empty glasses were taken as they walked by without asking if they wanted anything. When we called out to her politely, she ignored us and moved on. After 20 minutes, we FINALLY got the menu. But they just put it down and said, "Could you please sit at the table for two?" I understand that in principle – but there wasn't anything reserved for us, nor were the tables for two nice, nor were they in the shade. And as I said, other people had tables for four. When we looked at the menu, we were disappointed again: Where had the great meze selection we knew from the old Plomari gone? Unfortunately, there were only a few meze left, and regular main courses instead. We were extremely disappointed – we had loved going to Plomari because of the variety of special meze to share. Oh well! We chose two meze as appetizers and waited to order them and drinks. Unfortunately, that was again impossible. So I got up, went to the bar, and ordered there. 1 bottle of water, 2 Mythos draft beers, and 2 meze as appetizers. The call was taken, and we sat down again. I was really thirsty! When an hour had passed and we still hadn't gotten our drinks, we'd had enough. I went back to the bar and complained that we'd been there for 60 minutes but still hadn't gotten a drink. The waitress simply said, "There are only two of us today." (!!!!) No apology! No understanding that this wasn't appropriate. I said that I found it inappropriate to sit there for an hour without a drink. She then started speaking to her colleague in a foreign language (Greek?). I thought I was hearing things. I told her that it wasn't particularly polite to suddenly switch languages when a customer complains and that we wanted to leave. So we did, and as mentioned, went to the alternative Greek restaurant in the neighborhood. There, we were immediately assigned a table for two and asked directly what we wanted to drink. :)

The ambience in the restaurant is truly outstanding – stylish, cozy, and with plenty of potential for a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, the service on our visit didn't quite measure up. The drinks took a relatively long time to arrive, and the flavor was unfortunately underwhelming – rather poorly mixed and not very harmonious. The meal, served in the style of a Greek mezze evening with several plates in the middle, wasn't all that well organized either. One dish didn't arrive until the others had already been eaten. They also tried to serve a dish we hadn't ordered – after a brief but unnecessary discussion, it was taken back. The staff tried hard, but with only two people for around 30 guests, they were significantly understaffed. This led to noticeably long waits and minor glitches in the process. In conclusion: A lovely place with a good idea and potential – especially due to the pleasant ambiance. Unfortunately, our visit was somewhat marred by organizational weaknesses and a lack of staff. With better coordination, the experience could have been much more well-rounded.

This was our first time at Plomari. Overall, we really enjoyed it. The Greek mezes were very tasty and a decent size. The main courses were also good. It's not your typical meat, fries, and tzatziki Greek restaurant. The prices are reasonable. The service is friendly. We'll be back!

Highly recommended, as it's NOT your run-of-the-mill Greek restaurant with meat platters and ouzo on the house. They serve typical local dishes (including mezedes), a very good wine selection, and a warm welcome from the owner. The mezedes are high-quality, especially homemade. The octopus is just as much a highlight as the feta cheese in a sesame coating. We'll definitely be back.

Plomari (the old one), where hospitality was once a top priority, but today's reception was anything but unfriendly and condescending! -The starter, main course, and dessert were all consistently good 👍 Drinks: water, mocha, and wine (by the glass) are recommended. The service: friendly and always attentive. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. We found the ambiance both inside and out uncomfortable. Conclusion: With a few reservations, we still had a lovely evening, but we won't be returning.

I just wanted a beer... In the restaurant, decent prices, a nice menu... but when I paid, they said, "Card payments only from €5." In Cologne. In the year 2025. I was forced to run to the nearest ATM. No concessions, just a sheriff's attitude. Truly embarrassing for a restaurant of this (self-proclaimed) class. Let's be honest: Anyone who still forces customers to pay in cash for even the smallest amounts isn't saving money – they're losing out. They're losing out, namely guests (studies prove this). If you're going to act like an upscale restaurant, you should act like one too...

I visited for the first time since moving, and I was thrilled! The feta with honey and sesame was my highlight. We had a few seafood mezedes, and they were all delicious! Add to that a delicious Mythos on tap, and the Greek evening was perfect!

The alleged owner is incredibly unfriendly when it comes to constructive criticism... almost aggressive.

Plomari wurde Iannis Tikalas gegründet und war als Tapas Bar über Jahre eines der beliebtesten Restaurants in Köln (auch in TripAdvisor) Nach Übernahme durch neuen Pächter und Umzug zum Klettenbergürtel hat sich das Restaurant von einer TapasBar zu einem großen griechischen Restaurant mit "Massenbetrieb" verändert. z.B. wurde das Bifteki in der TapasBar für 8,90 mit leckerem Feta-Käse und sehr leckeren Kräutern als Tapas angeboten Heute kostet das Bifteki 19.90, ist ohne Feta-Käse und schmeckt nach nichts Ein Oktopus als Vorspeise kostet 17,90. Ist wirklich lecker aber winzig (für 17.90) Schade, Chance verpasst

The bottom line is that the food was super tasty and made with fresh ingredients. There weren't long waiting times and the service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the ambience is a bit cool and the lights flickered throughout the evening - which wasn't particularly pleasant.

I've been there twice now, and both times the restaurant impressed me with its quality. From delicious dishes to delicious wines, and of course, ouzo, you can enjoy it there. The chef himself serves and is super friendly, even helping you choose if you're unsure. The restaurant itself looks rather unassuming from the outside, but as soon as you enter, you're stepping into modern Greece. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be spending another evening there.

We ate as a couple in this beautiful restaurant. From the starter to the dessert it was simply great. The boss and the service staff were particularly courteous and friendly. We would be happy to come back.

I was at the Plomari in Cologne with my best friend and we were absolutely thrilled. The authentic Greek cuisine was outstanding, especially the perfectly cooked rack of lamb. The service was honest, professional and with a lot of heart - the staff performed absolutely perfectly. The beer was at exactly the right temperature, which rounded off the enjoyment experience. Clear recommendation!

Es handelt sich um den neuen Restaurant an Luxemburgerstrasse …. Tolle Ambiente, schönes moderne Design, das Essen hat prima geschmeckt…, nur etwas gedauert…?zwischendurch wir haben die Coctails und Wein bestellt…wenn man weiß, dass schmecken wird, kann man sich etwas warten)…, dann später, ich habe erfahren, dass der Chefkoch macht alle Gänge immer frisch und direkt bereitet, wenn bestellt wird … Als Schokoüberaschung bekamen wir am Ende BrownisLawa (??) mit dem Eis…, die Kinder haben sich am meisten gefreut 🤣

The service and the kitchen are not up to the size of the restaurant. After 1.5 hours and several questions, our food arrived. Drinks were in short supply.

Unfortunately, the visit to Plomari was not at all pleasant. The service was very inattentive, we waited 30 minutes for our drinks alone. The waitress was very inattentive, unfriendly and not at all good at giving advice. We felt like we were more of a burden than being served nicely. The food was okay, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. The decor is rather cool and not really comfortable. Unfortunately we won't be coming back. Too bad.

Absolutely top class if you know and appreciate the right Mezedes cuisine from Greece! Plus a pleasant atmosphere with friendly service. Definitely worth recommending from the first starter to dessert.

Warning about the Octopus; Unfortunately that was nothing. There was so much garlic in the eggplant tartare (split in two) that it accompanied us prominently at dinner, on the way home and at home. The calamarinis were over-salted, dripping with oil and cold. The octopus was so hard that it was impossible to cut. The waiter reported this to the kitchen, who replied that it was okay. It wasn't okay because the octopus was so tough after the thin ends that more than half couldn't be cut and therefore wasn't eaten. In the end we waited longer for the bill than the entire meal took. We then went to the counter where we had to wait again. No apology, not a word of regret. From the point of view of the restaurant it was fine. A no go for us and never again.

Sehr gutes Essen! Garides Saganaki, Gigantes und Feta im Blätterteig als Vorspeise, Lammkaree und Hähnchen als Hauptgang alles sehr lecker. Dazu Mythos Bier und Cuvee III und einen Tsipouro. Es fehlt noch etwas die griech. Atmosphäre, das wird aber durch die sehr freundliche und gute Bedienung mehr als wett gemacht. Wir kommen wieder.

We made a reservation, received a confirmation/reminder by email the evening before and then found ourselves in front of the closed doors the next day. Nobody can be reached by phone. It would be desirable to communicate the changing opening times online and to block reservations for the period if no one can serve you on site.

My boyfriend and I wanted to go out for dinner on New Year's Eve. We made a reservation via Google, received a confirmation with the address Sülzgurtel, etc... and suddenly we found ourselves in front of an empty shop. There is a poster with handwriting saying that the restaurant is on vacation, but the new restaurant on Luxemburger Str. is open. So we called there and the gentleman on the phone said we could come there. We went there, but there were only 4 people sitting there. That was too scary for us!... However, we were happy with the first store on Sülzgurt a few months ago! We don't know yet whether we'll come back! Simply poorly organized!!!!

A refined Greek restaurant blending tradition with modern elegance 🥰

Die Kritik bezieht sich auf das neueröffnete Plomari Garden Ecke Luxemburgerstraße und Klettenberggürtel. Das Restaurant ist blau-weiß gehalten und wirkt durch die stylische Einrichtung sehr nüchtern und kühl. Gemütlich ist es nicht. Insbesondere der hintere Querraum lässt kein Wohlbehagen aufkommen. Der Empfang durch den Chef ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Er erklärt ausführlich alle zusätzlichen Speisen auf der Tafel. Die junge Bedienung kann Fragen zu den Speisen nicht beantworten und muss jedes Mal in der Küche nachfragen. Auf glutenfreie Gerichte oder glutenfreies Brot ist man nicht eingestellt. Die Speisekarte enthält alles, was man bei einem griechischen Restaurant erwartet. Das Stifado war sehr lecker, aber mit nur 3 Fleischstücken und ohne Beilagen überteuert. Die zusätzlich georderten Bratkartoffeln waren Convenience und mit 5,90 € ebenfalls viel zu teuer. Die ambitionierten Preise setzten sich bei dem gegrillten Oktopus und den gegrillten Mini-Sardinen, jeweils mit ein wenig Gemüsemus als Beilage auf den Teller gestrichen, fort. Es gab noch keine Weinkarte, obwohl die Inbetriebnahme des Restaurants fast 2 Jahre gedauert hat. Die ausgeschenkten offenen Weine waren trinkbar, aber für diese Qualität mit 6,80 € für 0,15 l ebenfalls zu teuer. Es gibt eine zusätzliche Außenterrasse. Es bleibt abzuwarten, wie man dort an heißen Tagen und starkem Verkehr sitzt!

Craziness! We have already been to the other Plomari and the food here in the new shop is also excellent. Perfectly prepared and a real culinary delight in terms of taste. We also really liked the ambience and furnishings. There are only a few restaurants that deliver like this and are really reasonably priced. We will definitely come back often.

Unsere Kleine hatte Geburtstag. Wir waren um 17.00 Uhr dort. Temperatur im Lokal 12 Grad. Die Heizung hat erst beim Bezahlen funktioniert. HÄHNCHENSPIESSE, bestimmte Weine nicht mehr da. Delicious food, quite expensive

Very nice service and nice atmosphere. But to be honest, the portions are really outrageous. You have to eat at least 3-4 dishes to fill you up and unfortunately it's far too expensive for that. Sure, tapas are small and you order several things to share, but not for 15 euros per saucer, or then the food has to be more delicious and special to justify the price.

Always great, we've been visiting the restaurant every now and then for the last four years when we're in Cologne. The owner has changed, the quality has remained and so has the friendliness. Can give a full 5 stars.

Absolutamente terrible. Hicimos una reserva para 14 / 10 / 2024 que fue confirmado, e incluso escribí al restaurante para confirmar de nuevo y el restaurante respondió diciendo que la reserva estaba confirmada. Para nuestra sorpresa cuando llegamos aquí el restaurante está cerrado.

First of all, the food and service were very good. So why only 2 stars? Because the prices are simply extremely high. A small dollop of tzatziki costs €5.90, for small portions of fish and meat we paid €13-15 each. The service recommends 2-3 portions per person, so you can easily reach 30 - 40 € per person! The two of us paid €85 without drinks and we even left slightly hungry. If the portions were larger or the prices were lower, we would certainly come back, but not at this price level, which is a shame.

Very tasty here! My personal highlight: the skewers with mixed minced meat. Juicy and spicy. The online reservation works well. A small dog could be brought along without any problems. The only thing to note is that card payments are not possible.

Unfortunately it was a bitter disappointment! The food was on the level of a student shared apartment: mini portions at absolutely overpriced prices. My oven-baked sheep's cheese tasted sour and we returned the bean salad. It was absolutely carelessly prepared and poorly seasoned, with canned beans? The restaurant interior itself was completely cluttered with far too many tables and stuffy air. We were only in Crete in May and Plomari has nothing to do with the food and atmosphere of the restaurants on the island. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it.
