Speisen lecker, allerdings wird die Dame hinter der Theke immer unfreundlicher. Hatten es Anfangs auf die "Corona Situation" geschoben, aber waren seitdem öfter dort und die Freundlichkeit wurde nicht wieder besser, schade, dass sah Mal anders aus. Trotzdem muss ich nochmal erwähnen dass die Speisen wirklich gut sind und ich hoffe dass man wieder so herzlich behandelt wird, wie das Mal war. Edit: leider nach 6 Jahren noch unfreundlicher, es ist wirklich unangenehm wie mit den Gästen gesprochen wird.

Sehr gute und empfehlenswerte Gaststätte am Rand Rodenkirchens am der Weißer Straße. Qualitativ hochwertige griechische Speisen bei denen mit Sicherheit satt wird. Dazu sehr freundliches, schnelles und aufmerksames Personal. Neue Speisekarte mit neuen, originellen Gerichten. Auch die Preise sind für heutige Zeiten relativ normal! Wir gehen gern und öfter zum Rhodos Grill! 🥰 👍 👍 👍 Wer hier bei diesen großen Portionen nicht satt wird... Vorbestellungen per Telefon ist ohne Schwierigkeiten gut möglich!

Wir waren spontan hier essen, Grieche ist nicht Grieche. Essen war super, es war etwas warm, aber draußen gab es leider keine freie Plätze mehr.

Meine Frau und ich waren heute im Rodos Grill und sind absolut begeistert. Hier stimmt einfach alles: Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist perfekt. Das Essen war spitze, geschmacklich hervorragend und die Portionen sind so reichhaltig, dass man das Lokal garantiert nicht hungrig verlässt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service: Die Bedienung war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Zudem ist der gesamte Laden sehr sauber und gepflegt, was den Besuch für uns noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Wer auf der Suche nach einer tollen Küche zu super günstigen Preisen ist, ist hier genau richtig. Wir können den Rodos Grill absolut weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Ein Testrestaurant mit großen, leckeren und sättigenden Portionen und vor allem exzellentem, tadellosem und höflichem Personal.

Wahnsinn diese Portion. Sehr Sehr lecker. Keine Tischbedienung ( was überhaupt nicht schlimm ist) eventuell Plätze vorher reservieren zu Stosszeiten. Ansonsten sehr nette Mitarbeiter, oder Eigentümer. Komme gerne wieder.

Geheimtipp, gut und super lecker. Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen und drinnen. Klein aber fein. Drinnen am Tresen bestellt und am Fenster nach draußen abgeholt.

Ich war rundum zufrieden! Das Essen war super – wir hatten eine Cola, zweimal Pommes, Currywurst (einmal mit Mayo, einmal ohne) und einen Krautsalat. Alles frisch, lecker und genau so, wie man es sich wünscht. Besonders positiv: der Preis. Für insgesamt 17 € bekommt man hier wirklich noch Qualität zu einem fairen Preis – das ist heutzutage nicht selbstverständlich. Vielen Dank für das leckere Essen! Klare Empfehlung 👍

Waren am frühen Nachmittag da, einfach Currywurst mit Pommes und Pita....war einer der besten Pita ever. Preise sind absolut gerechtfertigt. Unscheinbar, aber sehr gut... Für Köln-Touristen wie wir, Sehr zu empfehlen. 👍

Das Essen muss ein Genuss sein! Und genau das bekommt man im Rhodos Grill. Der Gyros, Pommes und Zaziki sind super lecker. Ein Stück Griechenland auf meiner Gabel. Versprochen wir kommen wieder!

Leider nicht mehr wie früher. Ich habe hier lange gern bestellt, aber die Qualität hat deutlich nachgelassen. Das Schnitzel war früher ordentlich dick und saftig, inzwischen ist es extrem dünn und trocken – fast wie Pappe. Die Pommes waren labberig und wirkten nicht frisch, knusprig waren sie leider gar nicht. Auch geschmacklich hat sich etwas verändert: Das Gyros schmeckt nicht wie Gyros, sondern eher wie Dönerfleisch, was für mich gar nicht passt. Zusätzlich wurden die Preise trotz gesenkter Mehrwertsteuer nicht angepasst, was den Eindruck leider noch verschlechtert. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend, vor allem weil es früher wirklich gut war

Schnitzel Katastrophe , dünn , klein einfach schlecht. Preise teuer. Pizza Teig nicht mehr so gut wie früher.

Last Saturday, after a long time, I finally went to a Greek grill again, and I definitely won't let so much time pass again. The gyro plate was simply delicious and huge, the meat was juicy, the fries were perfectly crispy, and the homemade tzatziki was divine. All of this was made even better by the family atmosphere; the owners are fantastic and clearly understand their craft and how to take such good care of their guests. Absolutely recommended!

Unfortunately, after more than three years, I can no longer recommend this place! The quality of service is no longer there; status, money, and a little Greek are all it takes to get reassigned. What a shame!

Great Greek snack bar – very good food, great value for money, and very friendly staff!

The food is world-class. The service optimization is so disastrous that they recommend everyone pre-order. Otherwise, you'll end up sitting there for at least an hour, or in the middle of ordering, you'll run into the problem that it's changed, and you walk out with one order instead of two. Due to the stress, the pizza dough doesn't always cook completely, which is understandable given the volume of orders. It's up to each individual how they rate it when I end up receiving a nearly raw pizza after ordering. The interior is very nicely designed, and you can eat there in a relaxed manner. You just have to take your time. If they took the time to improve the service, it would be 5 stars without a doubt. However, I have to expect excuses with every order as to why something can't be done/delivered/served. My tip: it's best to pre-order by phone after 1 p.m., so there's plenty of meat available.

I'd like to commend this snack bar, as unfortunately, reviews usually occur when something negative happens. I read through some of the old negative reviews with interest and found myself shaking my head at some of the descriptions. Not because of the snack bar, but because of the customers. Even I got the impression that the customers themselves were the problem, not the snack bar. "Typically German," I'd say. In any case, the food here has always been very tasty. Sure, the prices have unfortunately gone up, but that's not the snack bar's fault. They should thank the politicians for that and maybe avoid voting for the old parties (a little tip). The service is fast and friendly. When it's busy, things can get a bit more assertive, and that's perfectly fine! The whole place seems professional and organized to me. It's quite busy there, and rightly so, because the food is good, and some people seem to forget that it's a snack bar with seating, not a restaurant, where completely different standards should be applied to service. :D In any case, I've always enjoyed coming back, and have done so for years.

Very tasty salads and everything very cheap

The gyros, like the other dishes, are always fresh and delicious. The combination of tender meat, spicy herbs, and fresh vegetables makes each dish a special experience. The homemade sauce, in particular, gives the gyros its unique flavor. Many guests return again and again to be amazed by the variety of dishes on offer. A visit to this restaurant is not just a meal, but a feast for the senses.

We always eat there when we don't feel like or have time to cook. Both food on site and to take away in very good quality and in large portions. The business is family-run and not very big, but there was always space. Toilets are good and clean, but are in the basement. As a Cologne resident, I assume that, if in doubt, there will also be people who are happy to help people with disabilities. Great restaurant for a normal lunch (in the evening it's definitely possible too ;-)).

The Rhodes Grill in Cologne Rodenkirchen is a real insider tip! Everything just tastes really good – starting with the wonderfully creamy tzatziki, which reminds me of my mom’s cooking in Greece. The new Club Gyros is particularly recommended: juicy, spicy and served in really large portions - no one will definitely go home hungry here. The rest of the menu also leaves nothing to be desired Particularly noteworthy is the new owner: an incredibly kind and entertaining person whose warm manner puts a smile on every guest's face. The girls behind the counter are always friendly, quick and attentive and leave nothing to be desired.

Excellent, large portions AND fairly priced too. What more could you want? Tip: be sure to pre-order! At peak times all hell breaks loose. But that also says something about the quality.

We were recently at the Rhodes Grill – the place has been renovated and looks really chic now! Of course we had to try the new dishes straight away: the club sandwich is really filling and topped with really tasty gyros. The gyro burger – a really cool combination of juicy gyro meat and burger feeling. The pan pizza had a nice and airy base and was well topped. As always, great service – can definitely be recommended!

Landed at the Rhodes Grill by chance and was rewarded with one of the tastiest gyros plates I've ever eaten. Super flavorful, fresh and plentiful! Had the large one and would have had a second helping. My wife and I will be back next time we visit the corner. She was also very satisfied.

Good shop for gyros, tzatziki and salt! Comes in two sizes, both well sized. I've also had pizza but it's not my thing. The soil is too doughy for me personally. You have to like it. Topping good. You can sit nice outside.

The largest and tastiest gyros in my experience in Cologne. If you order a gyro plate here and aren't full afterwards, you should be worried :) The homemade tzatziki is extremely tasty and worth the price per extra portion/serving to take away.

First of all, I always find it difficult to compare restaurants with, for example, a snack bar. The Rhodes Grill is more of a snack bar. But the gyros definitely doesn't have to hide behind a restaurant. We enjoyed it very much. Aside from the taste, the only thing that can be criticized about the food is that the plate is a bit small for the amount of food. I barely got my normal portion and my friend was specifically recommended the small portion, which she was grateful for afterwards. Service is also absolutely fine, you order at the counter and then bring the food to your seat. The service was friendly and the waiting time was ok despite rush hour. There are certainly places that are more suitable for a first date and do more to create the atmosphere. But if you want to eat simple and delicious food, you're in good hands here. Alternatively, simply take the food with you.

Food tastes delicious. Tzatziki comes from a 20L bucket and tastes accordingly. It's a shame to ask for so much extra. Otherwise the meat is very tasty. Service is average. Due to the lack of alternatives in the south of Cologne, it is definitely an address where you will not be disappointed.
