Rhodos Grill in Köln

Food tastes delicious. Tzatziki comes from a 20L bucket and tastes accordingly. It's a shame to ask for so much extra. Otherwise the meat is very tasty. Service is average. Due to the lack of alternatives in the south of Cologne, it is definitely an address where you will not be disappointed.

There are simply the very best fries in Cologne here - and the small portion is at least a large one! The women are really tough and super nice. It's lucky that this is right around the corner... I'm already looking forward to the next time! Thanks!!!

Deliciously seasoned gyros, perfect gyros and mega portions! Everything is just right here! Price, quality and portion! My wife lived in Leverkusen and we are now even making the journey from Frankfurt am Main to Cologne to eat this amazing gyros 😎 There is nothing comparable in Frankfurt. Pita is very small. Overpriced.

The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy and tender, just as it should be. The side dishes were fresh and complemented the dish wonderfully - the tzatziki in particular was a highlight. The portions were generous and the value for money is good. The service was quick and friendly.

So far I've only ever brought gyros to pick up. Very, very tasty with crispy fries. Only recommended!

Good shop for gyros, tzatziki and salt! Comes in two sizes, both well sized. I've also had pizza but it's not my thing. The soil is too doughy for me personally. You have to like it. Topping good. You can sit nice outside.

We found this snack bar in 2022 and can only say that it is the best gyros I have ever eaten and believe me, we have already been to a few Greek restaurants in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany and also to various Greek islands. Everything is right here the price, the portions, the wine 🍷 and nice people. We even drive from Maastricht or Aachen where my girlfriend lives or in combination with a day of shopping in Cologne to eat here. Sorry to say it, but all I can say to everyone who has written a negative review is that it's not true either way, I think they complain all the time and everywhere, it's been here many times and always good, very good in fact 👍👍👍

If you're nearby and don't stop by, it's your own fault! I've been looking for good gyros with Metaxa sauce and coleslaw for a long time - nothing more, nothing less. Here I found excellent gyros, excellent Metaxa sauce and tasty coleslaw. It was the best thing I've eaten along these lines in years. In short - food 1* / service 1* / ambience 1 (we are not on vacation in Greece and as far as possible a nice ambience was created here). I won't look any further and will definitely be a guest or just a pick-up person here very often. Praise and thanks to the entire team. 👍

GMaps led us here. Rating really good. It's a good 40 minute walk from the Berger campsite. Arrived, a little disappointed at first. Grill ambience... nothing more and nothing less. Order at the counter, SUUUUUPER dear employee (or boss) took the order. Get out, sit down and wait. After a short wait, the window opens, 2x gyros with fries and coleslaw, tzatziki and onions... and then this... an almost impossible portion on the plate that simply tasted really, really great. A first class Greek. Tradition and taste count! Warm, good people who will perfectly satisfy your culinary needs. And I think the tzatziki is the best I've ever experienced, the yoghurt there feels like it has 30% fat and is unbeatably delicious.

The gyros are really very good, as are the side dishes and we often order an extra pot of the tzatziki because it is so delicious! Pizza & schnitzel dishes are also good, I can't judge the rest, but a lot is also ordered. Disadvantage: Gyros are often sold out after 7 p.m., especially on Sundays

My favorite snack bar, and not without reason. Always delicious and one of the friendliest teams in Cologne. An absolute recommendation. A slightly longer journey is also worthwhile.

The food was really good, finely seasoned gyros, crispy fries, excellent. There is no table service, order at the counter and pick up the food when called. Atmosphere is like a chip shop with a few tables, but the food, and that's the main thing, makes up for it. Good Greek snack!

Giros and fries were very good and the portion was very large. Ambiance was OK. Service could be better because I had to get my own food. Although it wasn't crowded there.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. Because of the good reviews and because you can eat in the snack bar, we came for the first time with our 8 year old daughter and our puppy (a Chihuahua) because we didn't want to leave him at home alone. We placed our order at the counter and sat down at one of the tables. When we were finished and wanted to pay, we were rudely informed that dogs were not welcome in this snack bar and that we should come without a dog in the future. But we didn't see any sign on the door and said so. The next few times I went alone and only picked up the food myself as there is no delivery service. Today I was there again with two children, but they were waiting for me in the car. I ordered a small pizza with mushrooms and ham, a medium pizza with tuna, a medium pizza with Bolognese sauce, pepperoni and olives and a children's portion of gyros and when ordering I asked for a little more tzatziki on the gyro because my daughter wants that as much as I like. After having to wait over 30 minutes and being called to pay, I was told that it would cost €39.89. I was shocked at the price and politely asked about the prices of the pizzas. One lady immediately became a bit unfriendly and said that I should pay first so that I could see the prices on the receipt. I said that that wasn't usual, in restaurants you first get the bill and then pay. The two women then became even more unfriendly and said if I couldn't see the price board behind them, the prices would be there. I asked why they were suddenly so unfriendly and again asked me to tell me the prices for the individual pizzas before I paid, as I would like to check my bill. The lady listed in a very unfriendly tone that the small pizza (not 20cm by the way!) would cost €7, the medium pizza with tuna €7.50, the Bolognese pizza €8 and then she added that then they would come The individual ingredients are also added for an additional €1.20 for pepperoni, bolognese, olives, ham and mushrooms!!! I was very surprised and asked if the €7, €7.50 and €8 pizzas were just for dough and cheese? But she said of course! So I was already annoyed and replied that I had never experienced anything like that before. And why she would still answer so unkindly. She told me in all seriousness that just as one calls into the forest, it would ring out. So that was the height of impudence, as I had always asked in a friendly and polite manner. I then said that it would be my last visit to this snack bar anyway, as they are not only very rude to customers, but are also very hostile to dogs. The grill lady answered arrogantly that she had been in Rodenkirchen for 27 years and it didn't matter to her whether I came or not. I can definitely not recommend a restaurant that doesn't value friendliness, just blatantly rips off customers and is also hostile to animals.

Good snack, delicious gyros with fries, nice service. You don't have to wait long (even if the store is full). All in all a good Greek restaurant in Rodenkirchen - I can only recommend the Rhodes Grill.

Food was good. The portions were excellent. A "small" portion of gyros was not small at all. I was very full and struggling to finish my plate :'). Served with salad, fries etc. The portions was amazing. The service was nice and the staff were really kind. I was with a friend and they left one of their personal belongings there and the staff were kind enough to help us out.

Für all diejenigen, die Lust auf einen köstlichen Gyrosteller haben wollen, ist dieser Imbiss zweifellos die richtige Anlaufstelle. Die Speisen zeichnen sich durch ihre Frische, die gelungene Würzung und die großzügigen Portionen aus. Der herausragende Aspekt dieses Imbisses ist zweifelsohne der äußerst freundliche Service, der in einer Imbiss-Umgebung nicht unbedingt selbstverständlich ist. Die liebevoll gestaltete Terrasse ist ein echter Blickfang und lädt mit einer Auswahl an Tischen förmlich dazu ein, eine Weile zu verweilen und das Essen zu genießen. Die Tatsache, dass wir immer wieder gerne hierher zurückkehren, spricht für sich. Allerdings ist anzumerken, dass die Preise tendenziell auf der höheren Seite angesiedelt sind. Ein kleines Minus in dieser sonst so positiven Erfahrung ist, dass die Kosten recht üppig ausfallen. Wenn man bedenkt, dass ein kompletter Gyrosteller bereits stolze 12 Euro kostet, kann man den Preisen durchaus einen kritischen Blick schenken. Alles in allem jedoch überwiegen die positiven Aspekte. Die Qualität und Frische der Speisen, der überdurchschnittlich freundliche Service und die einladende Terrasse.

Wer Lust auf ein Gyros(pita) hat, ist hier genau richtig. Das Essen ist frisch, gut gewürzt und reichlich. Sehr freundlicher Service, wie man ihn in einem Imbiss nicht unbedingt erwarten kann. Die Terrasse ist hübsch gemacht und lädt mit einigen Tischen zum Verweilen ein. Wir kommen wieder. Evcharistó polí!

Gestern hatte ich das Glück einen Kumpel in Rodenkirchen zu besuchen und bei der Überlegung was wir uns denn nach der Formel 1 zwischen die Kiemen schieben können schlug er den Rhodos Grill vor da er für sein herausragendes Gyros bekannt sein soll...Eine Erwartungshaltung war daraufhin unabdingbar...Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht, schon wenn man den Laden betritt merkt man sogleich an der Atmosphäre : Hier sind Profis am Werk ‼️ Ich wählte den großen Gyros Teller mit Salat und es war ein Genuss, auch die Salate und der Tzaziki waren erste Sahne und satt wurde der Kleine auch 😅 Freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch in Rodenkirchen und beim Rhodos Grill 👌🏾👍🏾Tippi Toppi Danke Schön 😊
