We ate at Apollos for the 5th time today and it was great as always! The service is very friendly and accommodating. The food left nothing to be desired for us and if we wanted something different, they always tried to provide it. Our children always get extra fries or when we were there for the barbecue buffet, where there was no dessert, the children were a little sad and a large bowl of chocolate pudding and two plates of freshly prepared baklava were promptly on our table, WITHOUT us paying a cent extra had to, even though the grill buffet was almost €10 cheaper than the normal buffet. We really enjoy coming here and always feel in good hands, especially with children!

The food is really good! The service...a bit difficult because the boss is all alone, so sometimes you have to be patient! The atmosphere is very dated, a renovation would do the Apollo a lot of good!

Visit to the terrace in the late afternoon, which is beautifully located. However, leaves are not groomed. Drink selection is limited, there are no non-alcoholic aperitifs. Service was inattentive.

I recently visited the restaurant and overall it was a very positive experience. The food was simply delicious – everything from the freshly prepared starters to the hearty main courses was excellent. A small downer, however, was the service. Although the staff was competent and prompt, a friendly smile and typical Greek hospitality were sometimes lacking. A little more motivation and a warmer approach could greatly improve the overall experience. Overall, however, I highly recommend the restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine! And very important 🚨 Dogs are allowed ❤️

A few years ago I wrote a great review here, which I would now like to update and put into perspective. There's really nothing wrong with the food, it tastes as delicious as always and has for many years. The service staff has now changed and, as I sadly experienced recently, there are places in the restaurant that are hardly considered anymore. So we sat there in our assigned corner, menu on the table and waited for the order to be ready... nothing happened. Strange, those who sat down at the next table after us already had something to eat and drink. So wave, call and whatever you do to get attention from the service. After half an hour I went to the counter and asked if we could order something. Then someone came, without apology and when asked about it, just grinned. Too bad, too bad. I've been coming here for over thirty years now, but it was nothing like the famous Greek hospitality. Maybe things will go better on the next visit, I'm excited.

My wife and I spontaneously went here for dinner during the week. We really liked the service from the first minute. Friendly, courteous, attentive. The ambience is not typically Greek, but rather country house conservative to rustic. Absolutely ok for us The food was very tasty. The chicken breast with rice was filling enough and the grill plate was more than enough. Overall, we were very happy with our spontaneous choice of restaurant and would be happy to come back. There are enough parking spaces right in front of the door.

We cannot recommend the restaurant. I love crispy gyros, but some of them were black as were the meat skewers. But the liver was the worst. It resembled a black shoe sole that shouldn't have left the kitchen. There was no response to the complaint. When we pointed this out again when paying, instead of an apology, we only got rude answers. We will not visit this restaurant again
