Wow! We were incredibly lucky to get a table spontaneously on a Saturday evening. The service was very friendly and they really went out of their way to please their numerous guests. The food was delicious and came in truck-driver-sized portions! The ouzo from the carafe was an extra little treat! We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Wolfsburg!

We had made a reservation for 15 people – without realizing that the Bundesliga match in the stadium right next door had finished 30 minutes earlier. Although the restaurant was packed, we were served quickly and courteously. It's understandable that the food didn't arrive within 30 minutes, as well as the noise level in the restaurant. However, the food (both quality and quantity) more than made up for it.

Always eat well and don't throw the TSV out when drinking.

We come here regularly with the team; the food is always delicious and there's plenty of ouzo. We always enjoy coming back.

Santorini is a wonderful Greek restaurant. We suddenly had a craving for Greek food and easily and quickly got a table for a Saturday evening via WhatsApp reservation. The food was absolutely delicious. In my opinion, it was the best moussaka of my life! :) The portions were generous, so we were more than satisfied. And for dessert, we were given a small portion of Greek yogurt with honey without even asking – delicious! The service was very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The obligatory ouzo is apparently a bit more generous at Santorini; we received a small pitcher. We also had a really lovely table in the conservatory with a view of the harbor and the stadium – simply stunning. In short: We were thrilled with our first visit, and Santorini will be at the top of our list of restaurants when we're next in Wolfsburg. Highly recommended.

I recommend it; the food is truly excellent and plentiful. I went there when I was in Germany for three weeks, and after a week of meat and chips, I was craving something else, so I found this Greek restaurant. It's a bit hidden near the stadium, and as soon as you walk in, you can smell the fried food. Indoors, aside from the fake plastic plants, which I personally hate, and some renovations are in need of renovation, I'd say it's a basic place where the food is good, so I recommend it. The waiters don't speak English, but they're Mediterranean and will understand if you need a table, and with translation technology, it's easy to order.

We've always been very impressed with our previous visits. The food is delicious and the service is fast. However, on our last visit, with a full house and a larger group (10 people), we were unfortunately disappointed. The croquettes arrived half-frozen, some of us had already finished eating by the time the rest of our group was served, and we had to ask five times for an extra sauce before it finally arrived. That was a real shame!

Sensational! Super delicious food, friendly and attentive waiters, and absolutely great with kids! We were greeted with a small pitcher of ouzo, and our child got raspberry syrup with water, also in a pitcher, served in an ouzo glass :-) The portions were really generous, so I highly recommend sharing! We were all stuffed and were even allowed to take the leftovers home. At the end, everyone got a scoop of Greek yogurt with honey, and our child even got some lollipops. The meat was incredibly delicious, juicy, and well-seasoned; the gyros was amazing! Unfortunately, the food wasn't served on preheated plates, so it quickly got cold. A carafe of ouzo was immediately placed on the table as a welcome drink! It was unusually large, but very nice!

The food was plentiful and delicious. The service was very friendly. The children's meals came with the adults' appetizers, so there was plenty of time for the adults to enjoy their meals. The view of the harbor was also very nice.

I rarely give full marks, because then it has to be good. And that's exactly what it was here. You receive a friendly welcome, shown to your table, and impeccable service. The food is incredibly delicious (we heard the same from the neighboring tables), and we were completely satisfied. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance; both inside and out, you immediately feel at home. The service could be improved; you have to wait a while for your drinks, sometimes you have to speak to the server several times, and empty plates sit on the table for a long time. The food itself wasn't to my taste either; the tomato sauce on the gyro pan overpowered everything else, and the rice that came with it wasn't even soft. Combined with the high prices, unfortunately, this only leaves a 2-star rating.

The food can be rated as average, but the service is disastrous. You constantly have to defend your food to prevent it from being snatched away. A friendly reminder about a cracked beer glass is met with a dismissive 5-euro note being thrown at you, making you feel like it was only done to gain an advantage. Even a later attempt to clarify the situation was met with condescending responses. A never-before-seen outrage; we'll never see you here again... 0 stars

We visited here for the second time last Friday and were absolutely thrilled. We've rarely eaten such good meat. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the food is outstanding. For us, it's the best Greek restaurant in the region!

Super delicious and different from other Greek restaurants. For example, garlic potatoes instead of fries. But be careful, all dishes come with rockula, nobody knows why.

The good reviews piqued our curiosity. We, however, received burnt gyro – with a truly bitter taste. Four of the grilled pepperonis that came first were also pitch black! Those who like spice should try the bifteki; it has pepperoni pieces. The tzatziki wasn't to our taste buds. Unfortunately, the service was focused on the regulars.

The food was delicious and the portion was ok too.

Overcrowded and understaffed. This means the staff are more than overwhelmed. We arrived at 7:00 p.m., asked at 7:30 p.m. if someone could take our order because we were hungry. We waited an hour and a half for the food!! While we were waiting, no one asked for more drinks. Coke and beer were lukewarm, beer still! The salad was bland and served with pre-made dressing. The gyros and bifteki were okay. The gyros were bland; with so many guests, you can't really ask for a crispy gyro. Conclusion: uncomfortable atmosphere, drinks a solid 6. Food, I've never had such bad Greek food. You can imagine the repeat factor...

The food was unexpectedly delicious. The Metaxa sauce was a bit different from what we're used to, but still tasted good. The gyro plate was exceptionally good, crispy with roasted flavors—just how we like it. We sat outside on the terrace by the small harbor, where the ambiance seemed a bit clumsy with its carelessly laid artificial turf. The service was simply a disaster. Taciturn, unfriendly, and untimely. We asked the waiter three times for the bill. By chance, the waiter who also took the cashier's order came over and had no idea we were paying. So we sat there waiting for more than 15 minutes for our bill—the restaurant wasn't even at 50% capacity. If you don't care much for service and just want some delicious food, this is the place for you.

We were in Wolfsburg for the first time today and visited this restaurant. It's a bit out of the way, but it's absolutely worth the trip! The view is beautiful. The staff seemed stressed and hadn't worn their work clothes the first day. The food was okay, but perhaps even below average for the price. The salad with the meal consisted of shredded iceberg lettuce with a dollop of instant dressing. The filet is a steak, but not a fillet. All in all, nothing worth returning to.

Gyros covered in a ton of red sauce. The meat was way too fatty, but the sauce was supposed to cover it. Cheap pork! The fries also became soggy because of the sauce. €22.90 is way too much money for this dish. We won't be returning.

Very clean and comfortable thanks to the plush sofas. You can sit outside by the marina, and parking is easy. I ordered the 89, and at first, we had a somewhat fussy employee taking my order. The 89 is a fillet plate with various fillet tips and mushrooms plus fries. Unfortunately, I ended up with a stewed onion with zucchini and a few small pieces of fillet. It's a shame, because it tasted good. Charging almost €30 for that is really steep. Afterward, other employees came over who were really friendly. There was free yogurt with honey, which was very tasty. So, still, 3 stars.

I've been to Santorini in Wolfsburg a few times now, and every time it's been fantastic! As soon as you sit down, two jugs of ouzo (red and white) appear on the table—a truly lovely gesture! The food is always delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I've always had no trouble finding a parking space. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, so everything's perfect. And they often even throw in dessert at the end. A truly top-notch restaurant for me, I'm always happy to come back!

★☆☆☆☆ If there were 0 stars, these would be due. We were there with 8 people, asked for drinks 3 times, 3 waiters – no one brought anything. Cutlery was missing, the one we had came with fingerprints. Food? Wish list ignored: dressing despite being "without", potatoes instead of vegetables, liver too salty. The "highlight" was the chicken pan with "hidden" ingredients – supposedly all pureed in the sauce. The only quartered mini onion, see photo. The food was returned untouched! So we only paid for a water. If service is ouzzo, then it should be sufficient. We got 1 jug for 8 people, three-quarters full, and had to ask several times if there was anything else. Service? Confused to the point of rudeness, or didn't understand German. Ambience? Loud. Hygiene? No thanks. Conclusion: An experience best avoided.

I went there with high expectations. The reviews said it was a really great restaurant. The waiter said everything outside was booked, so we sat in the winter garden. Those who arrived after us sat outside. Whatever. Without a word, two glasses of ouzo were brought to us. The waiters hardly spoke to us at all and seemed pretty annoyed or stressed. I didn't want my tzatziki as a starter, but with my gyro. But it was brought to me first. It's a shame that no one listens. The main course was just brought out without so much as a "Bon appetit" greeting. My gyro was delicious, and the bread and tzatziki were homemade. My husband's baked gyro was pretty greasy. After eating, I wanted to try the dessert menu. If I were still sitting there, I'd still be waiting for it. Then I got angry and just wanted to pay and leave. We had to wait another half hour for our bill. I'm sorry, but treating your guests like that is completely unacceptable. Hopefully, we had a bad day. But we won't be coming back.

Service was rather mediocre. At peak times, they can barely keep up. And they practically ignore you. The food was good, but €23 for a small portion of gyros, tzatziki, and fries is quite expensive. (I guess the ambiance (watching two boats) costs money)?! Come to our place in the countryside, where you can get a double portion for €14 and it tastes just as good :)

Today I ate at SANTORINI with my wife. Based on a recommendation. I was very disappointed. It's okay that we had to wait a while to order; the place was packed, and the staff were busy. Unfortunately, we were repeatedly given various dishes, including salads, belonging to other guests. Eventually, our food arrived—well, almost. They prepared the wrong dish for me. If they'd asked me if I'd still take it at a cheaper price, I probably would have agreed, but since they kept bringing in items intended for other guests, I didn't offer it myself. When my wife finished her meal, my proper meal was brought to me, but I sent it back, saying, "My wife is finished eating, I'd like to pay now, but please, without my meal." The waitress left with my food. After a while, someone else, probably the manager, came with the bill. He placed my wrapped meal on the table and said, "It's on the house." A nice gesture of apology, I think. My wife confirmed that your meat was excellent, but all the side dishes, not so much. I ate my meal at home and can confirm. The beef fillet was first-class. The side dish was supposed to be fried potatoes, but when I ordered, I asked for them to be seared. Sorry, I'm not sure how these potatoes were cooked, but they weren't fried potatoes. These potatoes had never seen a pan. They weren't even bad fried potatoes; they weren't fried potatoes at all. Just sliced potatoes that had been cooked somehow. All in all: The potatoes shouldn't have been the problem; it would have been a real experience that they just can't do fried potatoes; the menu offers much more. But my overall assessment... I'll never see that place again.

We ate at Santorini today and were very impressed overall. The food was phenomenally delicious, beautifully presented, and of a truly high standard of flavor. The ambiance in the winter garden was also very pleasant—bright, inviting, and cozy. We particularly appreciated the small gift of a carafe of ouzo at the beginning, as well as the complimentary dessert at the end. It was a bit of a shame that the service seemed rather taciturn. The food was served without comment, and some plates were already cleared away even though not everyone at the table was finished. Nevertheless, given the excellent cuisine, we would like to give the restaurant another chance and are already looking forward to our next visit. We will, of course, adjust our rating accordingly.

The service today was a disaster. The server was completely uninterested and took our order incorrectly. They wanted to serve the main course before the starter. We pointed this out to them, but they left without saying a word. When we'd finished the starter, we were given the reheated main course. When we asked if the food was freshly prepared, we got a curt "Yes"... but the fries revealed something different. At least the waiter who took our money was in a different mood and took our complaint very seriously, hence the two stars. All in all, the food was good, but the service is really only worth one star.

My children (3 & 7) were thrilled. Right next to the Mittelland Canal and the VfL stadium. The staff was very attentive and child-friendly. We were greeted with two small carafes: one of ouzo and one of red wine with a children's drink. This allowed us to toast together. The food portions were okay, but you shouldn't go there hungry 🤗 We'd love to come back.

Wanting to eat here as a woman passing through isn't much fun! I came on a recommendation and was asked at least three times if anyone else was coming... Apparently, it was about the three empty chairs at my table on the rapidly filling terrace. The ouzo and menu distributors were bustling around, and the relaxed Greek atmosphere was kalinichta! I was happy to "vacate" the table and eat somewhere else...

We've eaten here 3-4 times, and it just got worse each time. The food is generally delicious and well-seasoned. However, we've had burnt gyros on occasion. I'm used to different portion sizes at Greek restaurants; for the price, I find them far too small. The staff is extremely stressed, can't keep up, and then takes their anger out on the customers. Rude and hectic. We'd already finished eating when the forgotten fries were brought. Unfortunately, I don't understand the many good reviews. We won't be back.

We reserved a table in advance. You should do that because it was very busy, and apparently (if you read other reviews) it's always very busy. Which is understandable, because the food is very good. The staff is very friendly.

Great place to relax and have good Greek food and beer in the sun. Being right on the harbor, the view was amazing and the great gyros and fried calamari’s added to the experience. The food was quite good, but nothing special. What tempts me to give it three stars is the staff. They don't greet you at the door, and they're rude and unwelcoming in the restaurant. Maybe we were just unlucky, but I won't be going back.

There's plenty of ouzo, but unfortunately the beer and white wine weren't cold. The food was very good. The tavern is run by non-Greeks, but it's still worth recommending.
