Gasthof Schnieders in Meppen

Unfortunately I have to report that it was a complete failure. Disgusting food. Fries tasted like old chip fat. The brake blocks (meatballs) were far dry and inedible. Gyros swims in fat. Billing didn't work at all. It was colder in the counter area than outside. Music unbearably loud. And you are served by a little boy. At least the boss was very friendly and refunded us the money. As sorry as I am………not recommended.

I have never eaten such bad food as in this restaurant. The fries tasted like old oil. The minced steaks were more breadcrumbs than meat, the tzatziki was quark with way too much garlic. The pork steaks were dry and the gyros were frozen. In addition, the waitress was a small child and the place itself was very cold. In addition, the food was almost twice as expensive. At least I got my money back. The operators won't see me there again

We ate at Apollos for the 5th time today and it was great as always! The service is very friendly and accommodating. The food left nothing to be desired for us and if we wanted something different, they always tried to provide it. Our children always get extra fries or when we were there for the barbecue buffet, where there was no dessert, the children were a little sad and a large bowl of chocolate pudding and two plates of freshly prepared baklava were promptly on our table, WITHOUT us paying a cent extra had to, even though the grill buffet was almost €10 cheaper than the normal buffet. We really enjoy coming here and always feel in good hands, especially with children!

Even though we only drank something, we still got an ouzo on the house. Staff super nice. We'll definitely come back... then also for dinner.

The buffet did not reflect the price/performance ratio at all. Also, the dishes weren't very warm. The dessert also tasted very artificial.

Aaaaaalso the ouzo is great and is offered in abundance, aaaaabut the food is a different matter. First of all, the service is friendly and makes an effort. When it comes to food, you have to make significant deductions. Everything tastes pretty much the same and the signage is more of a guessing game. All in all, probably not a second time. But the ouzo was good!

As Apolos, please don't open it anymore❗ It couldn't be worse! Every station bar is cozier. The tables are covered with bouquet foil, chair covers don't fit, no decorations. Staff walk around the dining room in slippers and sweatpants and also help themselves at the buffet. The buffet is not Greek and so extremely greasy. I can get cakes in frozen food at every discount store. Sweets are from Ehrmann, but I definitely bought them myself. There are cables everywhere, danger of tripping. The path to the toilets is like a storage room. Getting through there safely is a stroke of luck. The food was undercooked in places and completely tasteless. We looked in vain for Greek. A complete disaster ❗ ❗Never open again❗ I give 1000 negative points and that was nice

Typischer Landgasthof in der Ortsmitte, die Einrichtung ist irgendwo in den 80er Jahren stehen geblieben, hat für Nostalgiker aber durchaus ihren Reiz. Die Speisekarte spezialisiert sich auf Pizzen und Schnitzel, in der unteren Preiskategorie. Die Qualität des Essens ist ungeachtet der günstigen Preise top. Das Personal sehr nett.Ein Saal für größere Gruppen ist da, Parkplatz, Toiletten.

Eher Gaststätte als Restaurant, kleine Speicherkarte, wenig frisches.

We waren onderweg en wilden wat te eten hebben. Via Google deze plek gevonden dus van de autobaan gegaan en er naar toe gereden. We waren zeer benieuwd hoe het eten zou smaken aangezien wij de enige gasten waren. Een schnitzel menu en broodje hamburger gehad, welke zeer zeker niet tegenviel!

Essen gut, Preise ok, Bedienung nett

Die ersten Bestellungen waren sehr gut. Heute hatten wir das zweite mal wirklich schlechtes Essen. Rohe Burger und blutiges Steak. Obwohl es nicht englisch bestellt wurde. Sehr schade der Gasthof hatte einen wirklich guten Start. Vielleicht findet der Koch zu seiner alten Form zurück

Wir waren beim Burger essen in diesem Lokal und ich muß sagen ,dass bis auf das Ambiente ( eben alte Kneipe) alles bestens war !! Weiter so !

Waren spontan gegen 19:30 am Wochende vor Ort. Leider ist die Karte meiner Meinung nach sehr "Pommesbuden lastig" für einen Gasthof. Nu denn: Burger, Pommes und für die Frau Nudeln bestellt. Essen nach ca. 15-20 min bekommen. Alles super frisch, heiß und lecker. Bedienungen sind freundlich und aufmerksam. Nun zum Stern Abzug: 1. Streitendes/schlechtgelauntes Personal das sich vor den Kunden anzickt, geht in meinen Augen garnicht. 2. 2 Jungs die nur ne Currywurst haben wollen mit einer Wartezeit von 45min abzuspeisen(weil nebenan eine 90köpfige Gesellschaft versorgt werden muss) ist auch ein No Go. Entweder ihr schafft beides oder macht geschlossene Gesellschaft(unsere MENÜS konnten ja auch in 15min gemacht werden) Trotz der 2 Kritikpunkte kommen wir auf jeden Fall noch mal wieder.

Das Essen war zu 17:30 bestellt und war pünktlich fertig und hat sehr gut geschmeckt

Alles sehr frisch und lecker. Keine Fertigprodukte. Gerne wieder.
