We ended up here by chance and were lucky to get a table. The schnitzel, fried potatoes, fries, and salad were absolutely delicious. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area again.

I have to say, they've really held up well over the years. I ordered the Bomba Schnitzel with fries, which was also very good. But what was a joke 🤔 was the mayo 😂😂🤣 They actually included a tiny little bowl of mayo with my kilo of fries 🤣🤣 Oh well, it tasted great nonetheless. And I think the prices are totally reasonable too.

That was a fantastic dinner overall!!! Absolutely child-friendly (they immediately provided coloring materials and a great children's menu where even young children could choose for themselves, as everything was illustrated)! It was really quick and delicious, the portions were generous and tasty. The service was really friendly and discreet.

The food is really nothing special. Everything is system-style cooking. Nothing is fresh. The portions aren't large. It doesn't taste particularly good either. The food for four people arrives with a 10-minute delay. Impossible. It's also expensive. Dogs aren't allowed in. Individual requests are promised but not kept; the service is abysmal. Waiters ignore customers, always saying "right away" but never coming. In the end, you have to go to the counter and take care of things yourself. You can eat there, but it's far too expensive for the quality, and you end up frustrated.

The food is simply amazing and plentiful. We'll come back next time we're in Meppen.

We ate there for the first time today. The burgers are great, but the schnitzel is simply cooked in the deep fryer. I had the hunter's sauce with it, which was mixed with far too much starch; it was extremely thick, purely conventional. The schnitzel wasn't homemade either; I'm guessing it was thrown into the deep fryer frozen. It's a shame, really. Based on the name "Schnitzelwelt," I had hoped for more. The staff was friendly, but they limited themselves to the most necessary customer contact.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner today. The food was excellent and didn't take long. The service was very friendly and always there. We also liked the salad buffet. We'll definitely be back.

Four of us spontaneously arrived on a public holiday and luckily got a table. We weren't offered a high chair, so we fetched one ourselves—perhaps we were just too quick. The staff were generally very friendly, especially the men, who were attentive to the children. The "surprise" from the children's menu only came upon request, but was then kindly presented. The food was great: the schnitzel was excellent—succulent, perfectly cooked. My husband had the Hawaiian Schnitzel XXL, and I had one with cheese sauce and mushrooms (delicious, but a bit more cheese flavor would have been nice). The self-assembled side salad was fresh and good. The children were also very happy with their cheeseburgers and nuggets. There's a small play area and a changing room. Restrooms were mostly clean, although the women's restroom could have deserved a bit more attention from guests. Summary: Friendly service, delicious food, and family-friendly—we'd be happy to come back.

I ordered the Bomba Schnitzel Challenge and was told after completing it that it was invalid because I hadn't ordered any sauce on my schnitzel. (I specifically wanted to do the challenge.) So I ended up having to pay for the entire meal myself. What a disgrace...😕

We eat at Schnitzelwelt regularly. I wouldn't call the food above average, but it's good. Unfortunately, the waiters are often completely stressed, and you can feel it as a customer every now and then. Unfortunately, in the summer it's extremely warm, and you sweat out the food because the ceiling fans don't do much good – air conditioning would probably be more effective. When it's this warm in the restaurant, I can even understand why the waiters are doubly stressed. The tables are always clean and cleared, which I like. Our children always order a children's plate – unfortunately, our daughter is vegetarian and doesn't have a choice from the children's plates, as they all come with meat. When we asked if our little girl could have, for example, two croquettes and fries instead of bratwurst and fries, since she's vegetarian, we were told that this wasn't possible. We were asked to please order the dishes individually. ``` The thing: much more expensive, much too big, and no surprise bag like with the sibling's kids' menu, which a 4-year-old obviously doesn't understand. Perhaps it would be possible these days to offer a vegetarian kids' menu. :) When you order online, the pickup times are usually convenient, which is super convenient because you can pay directly online.

I think it's great that they have a slide for the kids to play on, but it makes the whole place uncomfortable. It's just way too loud when six kids are screaming... I have kids myself... but that's excessive. I also find the waitress there very unpleasant, especially when you mention five times that you'd like a chicken schnitzel and no 🐖, and she rolls her eyes... I have no idea what her name is, but she had bleached blonde highlights... So, in itself, very tasty 😋

Good schnitzels. The concept is like a Dutch cafeteria, but with schnitzels instead of snacks. More than enough seating space and also draft beer. Not too expensive. In short, highly recommended for a quick schnitzel. You just miss the real German atmosphere.

We were there with the family on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, we found the service staff to be quite unfriendly and irritable. My 1-year-old daughter screamed at one point, and everyone rolled their eyes at me. The food was still very good.

Hi, Ordered today around closing time. They were kind enough to order for pickup after 9:30 PM. Service was excellent, and I can't really fault the food either. However, I have to complain that the portion of fried potatoes was quite meager. I'm used to it differently. For €3.20, the portion was small (see picture). Despite the small portion, the food was delicious.

Yes, the right address for good food

There were three of us there. Another person and I ordered the so-called "cheese explosion." Unfortunately, there wasn't any mention of cheese, but rather a consistency that tasted like water. That it wasn't my fault is proven by the other person who ordered the same thing. Quote: "I've never eaten a sauce as watery as this." Well, at least two points, since the meat was actually quite good. But the fries were also very soft, as you can see from the photo. This place is certainly suitable for filling you up, and I don't expect particularly high quality, but the "cheese sauce" still gives me nightmares.

Mega delicious schnitzel, friendly and quick service and modern ambience

We had dinner here in the evening and wanted to try out the Schnitzelwelt restaurant – we had outdoor seating since the weather was nice. Good value for money. The location is easily accessible, but unfortunately it's right next to the street, making it a bit noisy outside due to traffic. Ideal for families with children. Playground, play area, and crayons – everything is available. Unfortunately, the restroom is on the first floor, making the Schnitzelwelt restaurant less than ideal for people with disabilities.

Had a great meal there. Salad bar was also delicious. Nothing to complain about.

When I came in I was first told that I was not allowed to walk through the door. Others didn't care.

The food was very tasty and the service was very polite and friendly.

The hamburger was absolutely fine, the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The baked chicken schnitzel and sweet potato fries were also good. The salad was okay, but the sauce tasted like Maggi from a bottle. The waitresses, almost all young guys, still have a lot to learn. We ordered a large mixed salad with a second plate as an appetizer. First came the hamburger, then the salad, and then the chicken schnitzel. The second plate was missing altogether. At least the food was far better than at the yellow M.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Quality for the price you pay is amazing. Large portions and very tasty schnitzels. Service and atmosphere are okay, not amazing but to expected. You come for the food.

It's a shame that a restaurant that calls itself a scavenger hunt only uses frozen schnitzel. I'd expect fresh schnitzel from this restaurant. The sauces could be homemade, but I'm not entirely sure. The sauces were delicious, and so was the schnitzel, but unfortunately it was frozen. The service was friendly and did a good job. That's why I give it 5 stars. If you want something quick to eat, this is the place. Tastes OK, but you shouldn't expect too much.

Unfortunately disappointing – we won't be back We used to be regulars at Schnitzelwelt Meppen, especially because of the children's play area, which was always a highlight for our son. However, yesterday we were very disappointed: Our 2-year-old son was the only customer in the restaurant and happily ran straight to the play area, picked up a pillow, and wanted to show it to us. A waitress from the back then shouted loudly and harshly, "Hey, that stays in the corner!" Our son was startled, we were speechless – and immediately got up and left. This employee had already caught our attention on previous visits. It's a shame, because the food was otherwise good and we enjoyed our time there. But after this experience, we won't be visiting Schnitzelwelt again.

We had onion schnitzel. When the main dish comes out of the fryer unseasoned and the sautéed onions are served unseasoned, it becomes very difficult to rate it. The fries were okay. So, a poor performance for a schnitzel restaurant.

One of the favorite places for a nice traditional German schnitzel or a nice currywurst. A menu with a wide choice and for little money. Service is also always friendly.

Schnitzel is great. The S-version with fries is more than enough. The fries were fried a bit too hard and the salad bar was below average. It is a "food shed" but you can eat there for a very reasonable price. All in all, you can go there without any worries. Reservations are recommended on busy weekends!

It's the worst place i have ever been. I tried to have lunch there with my family , and the waitress just sent me out like I was nobody. After many attempts that I have tried to communicate with here in English, she replayed in fluent English that we can not sit because they have all the tables reserved . When I asked her to make a reservation, she told me it is not possible. If you are visiting meppen just don't visit these place.

I have tried to eat in this restaurant two times and both of them, the same waitress very rudely said to us that they hadn't any table available for me and my family, although the restaurant was empty.

They just kicked us out, 4 adults and 3 kids from an empty restaurant, by a rude lady with bad teeth. She had very bad behaviour and attitude. She, also deliberately didn’t speak English and yelled at us in German language that doesn’t have available tables

The waitress's behavior was miserable. She didn't want to serve us, telling us that we couldn't sit down or make a reservation for later, and the reason was that we didn't speak German. She told us that there were no tables available even though the place was empty. This happened both times we tried to eat.

Had a lovely lunch with everyone, there is also a play corner for the little ones and a playground outside. Service is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. It had just opened and was soon almost full.

Despite it not being busy, left after 20 minutes because no order was taken. The staff did walk through the restaurant and stood together talking but no order was taken. People after us were helped. Very bad. Schnitzelwet in Meppen is therefore certainly not recommended. Customer friendliness here is equal to ZERO.
