Meppen in Meppen

We were there today with a few people and arrived at 6:45 p.m. The restaurant is open until 10 p.m. There was only leftover food. The food was fresh and very tasty, but there was almost nothing left. We stayed until 9pm hoping the buffet would be refilled but unfortunately that didn't happen. We paid 25 euros each, but we ate so little because everything was already empty...

Unfortunately I have to report that it was a complete failure. Disgusting food. Fries tasted like old chip fat. The brake blocks (meatballs) were far dry and inedible. Gyros swims in fat. Billing didn't work at all. It was colder in the counter area than outside. Music unbearably loud. And you are served by a little boy. At least the boss was very friendly and refunded us the money. As sorry as I am………not recommended.

Rarely have I had such a bad visit to a restaurant as here. We were there with a group and no one was remotely happy with their food. The dishes were obviously anything but “homemade”, but simply heated frozen products. The starter was still frozen inside, some of the main courses were partly cold or swimming in fat. The service could hardly keep up, missing supplements did not arrive despite repeated requests. When a complaint was made afterwards, a waiter just walked away laughing. Not recommended!

Very attentive service, always eye contact. World class! A must in Meppen!
