Service is very good, the employees are all super nice and friendly. The atmosphere is very nice, a lot has happened there in the last few years. Unfortunately the chairs are completely worn out and the wood is pushing through. If you look closely, the broken chairs were simply stapled with fabric. The food wasn't great. Sushi is always empty. The salmon for the plate that you can hand over to the chef is still half frozen. In general, all types of meat and fish are frozen goods. In the buffet there is only one (!) pasta and it is with curry, a matter of taste, there are practically no vegetables as a side dish (only fried cauliflower). Otherwise, there is convenience, especially when it comes to dessert. Everything thawed cakes, cream puffs, donuts. Then there is wakel pudding and vanilla sauce from the tetra pack. I have a golden rule when it comes to eating out: if I can make it myself, it's not good enough. Unfortunately, most of it doesn't taste good, except for the duck and chicken. The ready meal taste is very strong.

Unfortunately I have to report that it was a complete failure. Disgusting food. Fries tasted like old chip fat. The brake blocks (meatballs) were far dry and inedible. Gyros swims in fat. Billing didn't work at all. It was colder in the counter area than outside. Music unbearably loud. And you are served by a little boy. At least the boss was very friendly and refunded us the money. As sorry as I am………not recommended.

What a beautiful restaurant this is. 40 years back in time, wonderful hostesses, wonderfully cheap, I can't remember anymore, payment can only be made in cash. Wonderful, those old days. It looks like a banana split. Highly recommended, not luxurious, but super cool. This is where you must have been in Meppen.

Were alone in the restaurant during the week. We ordered 3 drinks, 2x Persian tzatziki with home-baked rolls, 1x farmer's salad & 1x leg of lamb with saffron rice. So far so good. The home-baked rolls were baked baguettes from a pack of 4 for -.69 cents. ? and unfortunately only baked from above. The supposed yogurt dressing in the salad was vinegar-sour and the leg of lamb was warmed up with the sauce as it was supposedly in the convenience package and placed on a deep plate. There was also a snow-white rice on a separate plate, without any typical roasted aromas or a few herbs or similar - a blob of yellow (saffron?) sauce was on top. The leg tasted ok, but nothing more. Overall, the food was unfortunately no more than canteen level. But around €75 was definitely too much. It was also a bit unpleasant that the glass front was open the entire time (at an outside temperature of 8°C) in order to be able to sell ice cream...?! All in all, I think it's a shame, but under these circumstances I don't see a bright future here.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Prices are high, but that's what you pay for if you want to sit comfortably. Book on time.
