Essen super lecker, Service super nett, tolle Atmosphäre und eine schöne Aussicht! Preis-Leistung stimmt auch! Hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen wieder.

Wir wurden super zuvorkommend bedient und das Essen war mega lecker. Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal.

Leider war mein Besuch in diesem Lokal ein Trauerspiel. Das Essen war geschmacklich und Kullinarisch ganz lecker, jedoch der Service war unorganisiert und überfordert mit den Gästen. Habe erst 30 min Später nach eintreffen und nachfragen eine Karte erhalten, wie kann dass sein. Wollte daraufhin schon gehen! Willkommen fühlte ich mich hier kaum und zwar deswegen weil die Kellner an mir vorbei gelaufen sind und ich keine Karte bekommen habe und andere die nach mir kamen dann schon bedient worden sind. Kleiner Tipp von mir an die Gastronomen hier: "Sie sollten an Ihrer Logistig arbeiten, Ihre Philosophie dem Gast gegenüber sowie an der Planung arbeiten und diese überdenken". Das auch unangekündigt Gäste um 18:00 aufschlagen ist normal und keine Ausrede. Der Gast ist König, da er hier Geld Investiert in einen schönen Abend. Heute war es für mich ein Abend ohne Gastfreundlichkeit und ohne Wärme. Das was ich heute Erlebt habe währe in der Lehrprüfung zum Kellner/Gastronom eine Glatte 4. Das sich der Kellner noch entschuldigen muss beim Gast ist ein Punkt den ich ankreiden möchte, ebenso der Tonfall dem Gast gegenüber. Schnaufen vor dem Gast ist unangebracht. Wenn Sie weiterhin ein gut besuchtes Lokal haben möchten, so sollten Sie meine Tipps einmal überdenken. LG.

Alles absolut top. Angefangen bei der Gutscheinbestellung und der problemlosen Reservierung. Vor Ort ein tolles Ambiente, wo man vom Chef persönlich begrüßt wird. Essen sehr lecker, Service hervorragend und professionell - null aufdringlich. Die Preise sind auch absolut fair. Empfehlenswert und immer wieder gerne.

Wir waren gestern Abend aus einem ganz besonderen Anlass im Bootshaus. Habe im Vorfeld ein Überraschungsmenu mit Fisch besprochen. Was soll man sagen. Alle Erwartungen wurden voll übertroffen. Einfach nicht nach Karte essen sondern vom Chef und der Crew verwöhnen lassen. Hauptgang mit Seehecht, Lachs, Zander und Garnelen. Was will man mehr. Wir kommen wieder ( auch ohne Anlass )

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Abend im Bootshaus! Tolles Team, leckeres Essen und ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Wir kommen super gerne wieder!

Auf Anraten der Schwägerin waren wir im Bootshaus Meppen. Der Tip war Gold wert. Denn meine Freundin und ich haben absolut phantastisch zu Abend gegessen. Meine Freundin hatte als Vorspeise eine Waldpilzcremesuppe und als Hauptspeise eine mediterrane Gemüsepfanne; sie war glücklich! Ich hatte als Vorspeise Entenbrust-Scheiben an Wildkräutersalat; mit der Orangenvinegrette war das ein Gedicht. Die Auswahl des Hauptganges fiel mir als Wildfleisch und Fisch Fan sehr schwer; also habe ich den Chef wählen lassen. Und er wählte für mich das Hirschgulasch mit Pfeffer-Dunkelbier Sauce und Rotweinzwiebeln; und ehrlich, ich konnte mich nicht daran erinnern wann ich das letzte mal so hervorragend gegessen habe. Die Kombination von den Aromen in der Form habe ich noch nie gegessen. Wir werden wiederkommen; und nach dem nächsten Besuch nehmen wir den Koch mit; denn der ist top! Tolles Essen, tolle Location, einen sehr höflichen und witzigen Chef. KLASSE!

Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ein rundum gelungener Abend mit hervorragendem Essen, tollem Ambiente und mehr als perfektem Service. Das werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederholen!

We wanted to go there spontaneously for dinner, and a middle-aged man said, "It's all full, okay, maybe, but then we saw empty tables on the terrace and asked if they were reserved. They weren't. They said yes, but it's cold outside, so come another time. This has happened twice now, once last year around this time, and again last week. Oh well, whatever 😂🤣

I debated whether to give it four or five stars. I had carpaccio as a starter. It was as expected. However, it took 45 minutes, with the restaurant at most half full, to get it. I had the Büsumer Pfanne (sauté pan) with plenty of fried potatoes, crab, and a fried egg. Some of the potatoes were too crispy, but overall, it was perfectly cooked. My friend's medium steak was more well done with a slight pinkish hue than truly medium. The service was young, friendly, and almost overly attentive. My friend, for example, was asked if he liked his Coke. 😊 We sat outside with a view of the water. Very nice. The only problem was that the smoking area was two meters away between the tables, and the smoke drifted towards us. It's the little things that tip it over into a four. Without a doubt, a restaurant where you can eat well.

We celebrated our wedding in a small group at the Boathouse. From the initial organization to the food and the final execution, everything ran flawlessly. We felt completely well looked after from the very beginning, and the evening itself was wonderful. Excellent service and fantastic food. All our wishes were fulfilled, and we will fondly remember this wonderful evening! Many thanks to the entire team, and we can highly recommend the Boathouse!

We were vacationing in Emsland for a few days, and I was looking for a restaurant for my birthday. During my search, I came across the Bootshaus. I reserved a table online and received a prompt call confirming the reservation after a very friendly conversation. The welcome in the evening was very friendly, the ambiance very pleasant, and the view of the Hase River from our table couldn't have been better. And then the food—we haven't eaten in a restaurant this excellent in a long time; my guests were absolutely thrilled, too. I highly recommend it!

We've been to many restaurants in Meppen by now. The Bootshaus is easily in the top 3, if not number 1. The pepper-crusted flank steak was excellent. The dessert was also fantastic. Kudos to the kitchen! We'll be back.

As always, we received a friendly welcome. When Jens brought us the menu he told us that the following dish would be offered off the menu: Roast beef with thyme juice, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts with bacon cubes. I'm always skeptical about roast beef. But I ordered it. Good thing I did that. This was the most tender and best tasting roast beef I have ever eaten. The other dishes, such as the red deer burger, the boathouse burger and the beef fillet, were also top notch. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

An all-round feel-good package. The relaxed conversation with the owner, the service, the delicious, high-quality food and the view of the Hare make a visit to the boathouse perfect. So we celebrated our wedding in September in the boathouse and what can I say it was a perfect end to our wedding. Many thanks to Jens and his team.

This evening I was in the boathouse in Meppen, where the hare bobs casually in the Dortmund-Ems Canal. If you're not flooded with happiness here, I don't know what is! 😄 The food? Simply fantastic! The Mediterranean cuisine here is so authentic that for a moment I thought I was on a spontaneous culinary trip to Italy. 🇮🇹 But no, it was Meppen! The antipasti was as delicious as a summer walk through Sicily and the main course would probably have made even an Italian nonna cry – with joy! 😋 The Emsländer beer with it was an absolute blast. Somehow I had the feeling that I was absorbing the spirit of the Emsland with every sip. The price? So good that I briefly considered whether I needed to make sure again that I was in 2024 and not in a time when everything was still affordable! 💸 The service? Fast, friendly and with a smile that tells you: 'We have everything under control, now you can relax and enjoy!'. And that's what I did. Splendid!

We received a very friendly welcome, a few personal words were exchanged and the drinks were picked up and brought to the table quickly. The food was great. But the support staff urgently needs to be better trained. Other drinks were taken incorrectly. The bill was supposed to be paid by card, we wanted to take the rest of the food with us, but it ended up in the trash, all of these things literally went to waste. We would still like to come back.

Das Ambiente ist wunderschön. Aber wir haben nach Aufgabe der Bestellung anderthalb Stunden auf das Essen warten müssen. Als wir zwischendurch nach Brot gefragt haben, wurden uns 3 trockene Scheiben Chiabatta gebracht, die uns auch noch berechnet wurden. Das Essen hatte keine gute Qualität. Der Salat ertrank in Soße. Das Lachfilet war sehr fad. Der Service war unerfahren, desorientiert und nicht aufmerksam. Um weitere Getränke er erhalten, sind wir schließlich zur Theke gegangen, da der Service nicht mehr in unserem Bereich zu sehen war. Auf Nachfragen, wann das Essen kommt, wurde immer gesagt, gleich. Es wäre erfreulich gewesen, wenn der Service die Gäste über die lange Wartezeit informiert hätte, als Entschädigung Brot mit Olivenöl gereicht hätte oder wenigstens zum Abschluss ein Café angeboten worden wäre.

The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was good, apart from the plastic flowers. Very nice environment. We wanted to share an appetizer. The comment came that they would be happy to bring us an additional plate - but then for an (unspecified) surcharge. Points are deducted for this. At the latest after we had all ordered (namely, extensively), the waiter should/could have confidently brought an additional plate. Pretty uncool. I have never come across such pettiness in this price league...

The food there was very tasty. We have already been there twice and for me it is the best thing I have eaten in Meppen so far. We chose the first side and the meat was super tender and the side dishes also impressed us. As a starter there was aioli and bruschetta and that was also great. Price performance is completely acceptable. The service is also very good. The boss is always very close to the guest and you feel very comfortable when you are there. We'll always be happy to come back...

Selten so gut gegessen! Die Speisen waren toll aufeinander abgestimmt und schmeckten fantastisch 🤩. Dazu ein sehr zuvorkommender, freundlicher Service, welcher dafür sorgt, dass man sich sehr willkommen fühlt. Unser Hund durfte auch mit und wurde mit einem Wassernapf bewirtet 😅.

Plätze mit Sicht aufs Wasser, auf der anderen Wand die Projektion des Aquariums. Dazu leckeres Essen mit auf den Punkt gegartem Fleisch serviert vom aufmerksamen und interessierten Personal. Während der Wartezeit noch Ablenkung fürs kleine Kind mit einem Kuscheltier.

Sehr gute Küche, aufmerksames Personal und ein wunderbares Ambiente. Der Blick auf den Kanal und Höltingmühle sind einmalig. Gerne wieder.

Zum ersten Mal waren wir im Bootshaus Meppen zum Essen und es wird nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Die Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr gut, alle sehr unterschiedlich ausgewählten Speisen wurden gleichzeitig serviert. Ein sehr schöner Abend, an dem sich alle inkl. den Kindern und Hund wohlfühlt haben.

Das war eine tolle Überraschung!!! Wir waren vor vielen Jahren schon mal hier, da war es nicht wirklich gut. Jetzt hatten wir einen hervorragenden Service, leckeres Essen und einen wunderbaren Blick aufs Wasser! Traumhaft und sehr zu empfehlen!
