Food was cold and not very good!!

We've been to the Piraeus several times and have never been disappointed. Neither with the food nor with the service. The staff, especially the manager, are always courteous and very friendly. We're already looking forward to our next visit to the Piraeus.

Anyone who enjoys Greek food will enjoy their meal there. The service is very polite, and the food was very good. The wine could have been a bit colder for me. A definite recommendation.

Unfortunately, we were only able to visit the Piraeus once during our short vacation. We were truly impressed by the excellent food and the truly friendly service. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Yesterday, four of us went out to eat with my friends. We had a platter that was, firstly, beautifully prepared and, secondly, delicious. The service was absolutely top-notch! There was nothing to complain about, and we didn't have to wait long, considering the restaurant was packed.

Delicious food, very friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere! We'll definitely be back.

Four of us were there this evening. The wait was very bad today, over an hour. Aside from the chicken dish, all the meat was dead and fried to a shoestring. However, I can wholeheartedly recommend the tzatziki.

Piraeus is a good Greek restaurant where the food is particularly delicious! They also serve ouzo with your meal! The atmosphere is cozy! The staff is very nice and friendly! I highly recommend Piraeus! 🍽🍻🍗😀👍

The staff were very attentive and helpful from the start. I would say the portions were a bit too large considering the price-performance ratio! We felt very well looked after; they always asked if everything was okay or if there was anything missing, even though the place was full and we hadn't made a reservation! Hello, unfortunately, my sister and I were very disappointed with the food today. The portion was extremely small, and unfortunately, it was really, really burnt in several places. As a result, the zuzuki and the gyro were completely dry. That was a real shame, and unfortunately, we won't be going there again for a while.

Best Greek, very plentiful and 😋 delicious food. All friendly. We had gyros plates and skiathos plates.

It's now the best Greek restaurant in Emden. We've eaten there twice so far and have been absolutely thrilled each time. In terms of taste and portion size, we've never had better Greek food in Emden. The prices are also perfectly reasonable. Keep up the good work. We'll be back.

Went there to eat and had all kinds of gyros. Unfortunately, the meat was very dry and the service wasn't really on task either. Unfortunately there is also a lack of parking spaces. Unfortunately not recommended.

The background noise is too loud when the restaurant is full. The meter showed 89dB. I am not satisfied with the parking situation. The visitor must park on the street. The service is nice and friendly.

I don't understand how the restaurant gets 4.5 stars. Food mediocre. Gyros dry, squid salad without taste. Service more than bad. It was also an ice cave, so you had to keep a jacket on. Ambience old and dark. So not recommended. Complaints ignored. Service gets sloppy. Never again.

We cannot recommend the restaurant. I love crispy gyros, but some of them were black as were the meat skewers. But the liver was the worst. It resembled a black shoe sole that shouldn't have left the kitchen. There was no response to the complaint. When we pointed this out again when paying, instead of an apology, we only got rude answers. We will not visit this restaurant again

Never again. Liver was like a lump of coal. Some gyros also tasted burnt. How can you serve such a meal to guests? The criticism was not addressed and was then explained as a lack of staff. And very rude. Mayo and sauce are also counted. Available for free in other restaurants. Oh yes.....a discount or a word of apology: none. This is not how you should treat guests

We have been coming to Piraeus for years, it is the BEST Greek restaurant in Emden. The food is perfect, as is the service and the ambience. For us there is no other restaurant than Piraeus. We can recommend it to everyone.

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Greek restaurant and I absolutely love it! The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, you immediately feel welcome. The food was simply excellent – ​​fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared and typically Greek seasoning. The gyros and fillet skewer as well as the fries were a particular highlight! The service was attentive and friendly, with a real sense of hospitality. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves or wants to rediscover Greek cuisine. We'd love to come back.

Food was good, unfortunately some good dishes were taken off the menu due to limited demand. Too bad.

How can you serve a plate so carelessly when you don't want any side dishes, just put a piece of meat on the plate without anything to make it look appetizing, the eye eats too. If that was the only way to communicate, it would probably be boring

Hello from Emden We were there today with 4 people. What can I say... The quality and taste was really great. The service was very nice and attentive. And yes, the main thing these days is that no one leaves hungry or thirsty for a good course. Keep it up... We say thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

Unfortunately, I paid an extra €2 for a teaspoon of hot sauce without being made aware of it beforehand. There is usually something like this on the table for seasoning. That leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Therefore one star for the service. Otherwise the service was very nice and the food was tasty and sufficient.

Picked up food from outside the house. Gyros gratinated. Unfortunately there was generally no Metaxa sauce there. A pity. The meat was baked with a brown gravy. This tasted like a ready-made sauce. Not very tasty. The meat was partly black and burnt and very salty. The rice specified in the menu wasn't there at all. Unfortunately I only noticed it when I got home. All in all, my conclusion is: It was worth a try there, but it stays that way.

Our favorite Greek restaurant in Emden for years. Good quality, generous portions at a fair price. Vegetarian dishes are also very tasty.

Bin regelmäßig auf Dienstreise in Emden und kehre jedes Mal hier ein. Mein absoluter Lieblingsgrieche weltweit.

Leider nicht mehr so zufrieden wie früher. Preise sind stark gestiegen (war zu erwarten und ist ja auch überall so). Leider sind zusätzlich auch die Portionen ordentlich geschrumpft. Entweder das eine oder das andere, alles andere ist meiner Meinung nach zu viel.

Kenne das Restaurant seid 30 Jahren.Waren nach einigen Zeit mal wieder da.Essen wie immer top, Service sehr gut Freundlich und aufmerksam. Finde immer noch ein Geheimtipp in Emden.Preise völlig Ok.Kommen wieder öfter.

Essen lecker nur die Portion etwas kleiner geworden im Vergleich zu früher. Für sehr gute Esser könnte etwas mehr Fleisch drauf.

Schade... Das Essen war lecker - JA - aber... Der Service ist in Ordnung, ok gut. Das Lokal hat zumindest LED Glühbirnen, aber ansonsten ist in den letzten langen Jahren nicht viel in die Einrichtung investiert worden. Das Lokal hat noch den "Charme" aus den späten 80er, frühen 90er Jahren. Das Essen war gut und lecker, aber irgendwie hat man das Gefühl, das was gefehlt hat. Irgendwie fehlt der Kniff, oder anders gesagt, wenn man Hunger hat, dann ist das Lokal in Ordnung, aber wenn ich abends "Essen gehen" möchte, dann möchte ich nicht das Gefühl haben, ich würde in einer besseren Pommesbude essen. Sorry, aber so schnell werde ich hier nicht mehr "Essen gehen".

Leider keine sinnvolle Investition. Saganaki war OK aber die Oliven mit Stein das geht gar nicht. Der Beilagensalat war ein Witz. Pommes nicht selbst gemacht und noch nicht einmal eine Portion tsaziki dazu obwohl sich, daß gehört. Habe mir aus guten Grund ein alkoholfreies Bier bestellt, da ich kein Alkohol vertrage und der Kellner bringt mir ohne dass ich es möchte Ouzo.

Super Essen, sehr Nett günstig sehr zu empfehlen, super Ambiente.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant! Zuvorkommender und sehr freundlicher Service, gemütliches Ambiente und sehr leckeres Essen. Qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten und sehr gut gewürzt. Alles bestens und wir kommen jederzeit sehr gerne wieder!

Ich habe nach Argumenten gesucht, und was negatives schreiben kann aber leider ist die parkplatzsituation wieder sehr gut und dadurch ist mir kein negatives Argument eingefallen. Die Preise wurden zwar auch angezogen, aber bei weiterem nicht so stark wie andere, daher alles gut ;)

Heute wieder einmal da gewesen. Alles perfekt! Super lecker, und vor allem super freundlich. Hier wird der Gast geschätzt! Wir waren zu dritt, und hatten noch ein sehr nettes Gespräch zum Abschied. Wir kommen gerne wieder .

Wir hatten spontan keine Lust zu kochen und Appetit auf etwas Leckeres. Kurz die Online-Speisekarte in der Familien-Whats-App Gruppe geteilt- und bestellt. Mit ein wenig Abweichung zu den Standard Gerichten aus der typisch griechischen Karte. Abholzeit: 20 Minuten. Trotz der sehr angespannten Parkplatz Situation pünktlich erschienen. Das Essen war fertig und zu Hause angekommen auch noch heiß. Und wie immer sehr lecker und reichlich. Es hat nächsten Tag auch noch für ein zweites Mal schlemmen gereicht. Personal am Telefon und vor Ort, so wie den Service finde ich immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant Ambiente ist halt rustikal gemütlich - aber ich sitze da auch gern zum Essen. Nur diesmal war halt das heimische Sofa verlockender:-) Jederzeit gerne wieder... Einziges Manko - die Parkplatz Situation

Am 2. Weihnachtstag da bestellt zum abholen. Weil ziemlich Rollstuhlfahrer unfreundlich. Schwarzes Haar im Bauernsalat gehabt. Danach war essen gelaufen. Wäre unter Vickies Führung niemals passiert aber der neue Besitzer scheint da nicht viel Wert drauf zu legen. Nie wieder!!! Vorher 23 Jahre aber nun dankend abgelehnt!!!!

Schönes griechisches Restaurant mit charakteristischer Einrichtung. Ich bin relativ häufig hier Gast und habe bisher immer sehr lecker essen dürfen! Der Chef selber ist sich nicht zu schade und schaut persönlich immer nach dem Wohlbefinden der Gäste (und ob das Ouzo-Glas bereits leer ist, damit er nachschenken kann). Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!
