Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff and a generous salad bar. I'd gladly come back again.

The service also deserves special mention: the staff is always friendly, attentive, and courteous. Over time, a pleasant and respectful relationship develops between guests and staff, which further enhances the overall positive impression. Due to high demand, guests wishing to dine in are advised to make a reservation in advance. Those picking up their orders should allow approximately ten minutes extra time, as the dishes are freshly prepared. Overall, the restaurant offers consistently high quality and a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.

We're currently on vacation in Barsinghausen and arrived on Sunday. Since we needed something to eat in the evening, we went to Akropolis. We thought the food was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. Today, on our last evening, we needed something to eat again, so we went there again. And what can we say - SUPER DELICIOUS - even better than the first time. We had a second helping (garlic bread). Great price! We'll be back when we're in the area!

The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Unfortunately, the service was a bit forgetful, so it took quite a while for another drink to finally arrive. This didn't happen with the servers, who were familiar—here, everything went quite quickly. We had to ask for the bill twice. Overall, a good Greek restaurant, with some minor drawbacks.

Good Greek restaurant. The food is (very) plentiful and delicious. The owner is apparently deaf because she shouts across the restaurant. Otherwise, the service is okay.

I didn't like it, and I've been there twice. The Metaxa sauce tastes like nothing. The bifteki tastes like nothing. But try it yourself. That's just my personal opinion. Since I regularly eat good Greek food, I know the difference very well. Sitting up front is very noisy because people are constantly coming in to pick up their food and waiting. We weren't told anything about the salad either. The service wasn't great.

Best Greek in Barsinghausen. I suppose. At least it was packed on Friday evening. Luckily, you get here early, so a place was available around 8:30 p.m. The food came quickly. The fries could have been a little crispier, the gyros were good, the portion was generous and the price was pretty reasonable. 👍

Unfortunately the noise level is very high. The salad buffet is set up directly in the entrance area. This makes it very narrow there.

Overall everything was fine but nothing special for me personally. The starter plate for two is great. Some friends were missing bread for their starters. The pepperoni was quite salty. Personally, I didn't like the Cretan potatoes. Fried potatoes with mayonnaise and cheese, at least that's what some people liked, including me. Meat was tender and everyone enjoyed it. Salad buffet was OK.

Nothing special per se. But here already! Because the AKROPOLIS in Barsinghausen still serves French fries AND rice AND tzatziki AND salad served ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️ This is ALL part of the dish. The gyros were perfectly crispy, the suflaki fillet meat was tender and juicy. The rice was delicious, as were the fries. The tzatziki tasted like it was freshly prepared. The salad was fresh and the salad dressing was very tasty. The food tasted great and it was a nice portion!🤤 This restaurant definitely deserves to be tried. if you have an appetite for gyros and the like! The price-performance ratio is definitely right here! 👍🏼!!! 5 stars 🌟! Furthermore, the staff is really friendly and accommodating. Parking right in front of the restaurant isn't great, BUT the large parking lot in the city isn't far away and it's good to walk a bit after a hearty meal.😁😉

I recently visited the restaurant and overall it was a very positive experience. The food was simply delicious – everything from the freshly prepared starters to the hearty main courses was excellent. A small downside, however, was the service. Although the staff was competent and prompt, a friendly smile and typical Greek hospitality were sometimes lacking. A little more motivation and a warmer approach could greatly improve the overall experience. Overall, however, I highly recommend the restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine! And very important 🚨 Dogs are allowed ❤️

Everything is very tasty and made with love. Everyone there is very friendly. And all of this at a very fair price. If we didn't live too far away, we would visit every week.

Best Greek in all of Barsinghausen

We were there for the first time today and received a very friendly welcome. The food was great, the salad was fresh and the liver was right on point. We would love to come back 👍🏻

Today we had our annual company dinner there with 15 employees who all drank and ate. Unfortunately we weren't even offered an ouzo after the bill as you would expect from a good restaurant. It's a shame actually. We will no longer visit this restaurant.

Food was great, prices were good, seating in the aisle with the front door often open was quite cold, tips were accepted without thanks.

All very well, could become my regular Greek.

My partner and I each ordered a grill plate, which also included the salad. After placing our order, we went to the salad bar and grabbed a plate each. Since I don't like eating salad that much, I just took a few cucumbers and a little feta cheese and told my friend that otherwise he could take the rest of my portion. When he went back to the salad bar, the owner pointed out to him in a brisk tone that he needed another salad. At first we thought it was a joke because we enjoyed coming to eat for years (including with the previous owners). Afterwards we looked at the menu again and there was a note saying that another portion costs €3.50. Unfortunately, this can easily be overlooked. There is no corresponding notice on the salad bar. Unfortunately, we noticed that other customers went to the salad bar several times and none of them were informed of the additional costs. We think this is a shame because every customer should normally be treated equally. After all, we ended up paying the price and would consider visiting the restaurant again next time.

There were 6 of us here for dinner. We had a table in the newly created room where there used to be a cosmetic studio. We were the first to sit down. Little by little it filled up. While all the tables around us already had food, our drinks only arrived. The service staff was completely overwhelmed. A neighbor at the table had an ouzo plate - here, of course, without ouzo. Another table neighbor only got the right food on the third attempt. We prefer to go to Goltern now, everything fits there and you feel welcome as a guest.

Good starters, tasty food, reasonable prices. Reserve on the weekend!

Sehr leckeres griechisches Essen und die Portionen sind mehr als reichlich. Wenn man Lust auf griechisches Essen hat kann ich Akropolis nur empfehlen

Einladung ins Akropolis in Barsinghausen. Wir haben die etwas längere Anreise nicht bereut(Hannover/Bothfeld). Erwähne ich nur,da ich bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal da gewesen bin. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt absolut. Die Speisen waren so lecker, und, auch kaum zu schaffen. Die Speisen sind üppig, aber nicht Masse statt Klasse, sondern um gekehrt. Auch zu empfehlen, der Zaziki, haben wir nicht einmal zu zweit geschafft, leider. Es gab auch eine sehr gute Auswahl am Salatbuffet . Der Service ist freundlich, auch bei einigen kleinen "Sonderwünschen"obwohl das Restaurant an einem Dienstag , sehr gut besucht war. Lieber einen Tisch bestellen. Vielen lieben Dank für den schönen Abend!

Ein geniales griechisches Restaurant. Sehr aufmerksames, freundliches Personal. Wir waren schon über 20 mal da, die Speisen schmecken ganz hervorragend und bei den Portionen wird man auch richtig satt. Die Preise sind auch noch für die Qualität und Menge günstig.
