Very good, small, Greek restaurant. Delicious, authentic dishes, friendly service and a fair price/performance ratio. We were served very well and would love to come back. Another thing worth mentioning is the central location in the immediate vicinity of the S-Bahn and Wilhelmsplatz. Photos will follow

The food there used to be very tasty. We went there with this expectation. The service wasn't particularly friendly. One had the impression that he HAD to work. You didn't notice any fun there. The food, the Helena plate, was very clear. Small portion. Soggy fries baked in old fat (at least that's how they tasted) And "baked" there means warmed up half a slice of processed cheese. That doesn't work at all. The food wasn't very seasoned and we actually didn't like it. We will no longer oppose it. Thank God we had the gourmet block, otherwise we would have been even more annoyed.

For me, the Ellerfeldschänke in Frankfurt is the ultimate insider tip among Greek restaurants. I particularly recommend the tender lamb from the oven – a true taste experience that always delights. Added to this is the warm service, which makes every visit particularly pleasant, as well as the cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. The beautiful beer garden is ideal for leaving everyday life behind in a relaxed environment. A perfect place for enjoyment and relaxation!

The quality and service have deteriorated enormously over time, but the prices have increased significantly. Today I ordered here for the last time. After more than an hour and a half of asking by phone where our food was, I got the answer: "Oh, sorry, the driver has to deliver 3 more orders first..." All well and good. After more than 2 hours the food arrived cold and soggy. The driver apologized (even though he wasn't to blame), but unfortunately that didn't make the food any tastier. I've had schnitzel at motorway service stations that were better, not to mention the fries (or was it pasta?). This greed to save something more in order to earn another 5 cents upsets me so much. (the imprint reveals a lot)

I would like to tell you about the Greek restaurant "Akropolis" that I recently visited with my friends. Since this restaurant is always very popular, we reserved a table in advance. When we arrived everything was already prepared. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and shown to a table. The menu offers something for every taste, and the waiters are happy to help you select dishes based on your preferences. A big compliment to the chefs, because everything was incredibly tasty and we all had an unforgettable culinary experience. Note that the portions are so large that I couldn't finish it all. The rest of the food was kindly packed up for me to take home. The restaurant seemed very cozy and inviting to me. The atmosphere is ideal for friendly conversations and enjoying food and drinks. Despite the fact that all the tables were occupied, we didn't feel disturbed. The waiters came by regularly to make sure everything was OK with us. In this restaurant you can also order takeaway food or purchase vouchers for loved ones.

The portion is sufficient, only the side salad could be a little more and the dressing a little spicier.

One of our favorite restaurants. Top quality, well prepared. Excellent selection of food, drinks and various wines and spirits. Upscale standards in a great, well-kept atmosphere. On warm days, a huge terrace invites you to stay. Located directly on the banks of the Fulda, you have a great view when sitting outside. Unfortunately, parking is a bit difficult at Auerdamm so you should always plan a short walk.

Apparently you go to "Zu Engel" because you can eat cheaply there!!! My first and last visit here! The place reminded me of a run-down, tastelessly decorated train station hall in a remote village in Greece. Although the train station halls in Greece are nicer than here... The dishes were tasteless, mediocre at best and visually unappealing! What is served here has nothing to do with Greek cuisine! Serving tasteless food is not Greek! *Meat: inedible and tough (lamb was good). *Salad: not good and sauce NO! *French fries: good but salt-free. *Greek pasta: really overcooked and really tasteless! *Wines: not good - but often a matter of taste, *Starter: very good but served without bread as they ran out of bread. *Service: very rude, inattentive and constantly on the phone with friends. *Boss: was busy with relatives. *Atmosphere: 0⃣ points. *Music: 0⃣ To many my criticism will sound very harsh, but it always depends on why you are eating. If the focus is only on price-performance ratio, the Angel in Kriftel is of course the highest there is! But if I want good quality, delicious wines or a beautiful ambience, then you have to avoid the angel in Kriftel. They don't even meet the minimum requirements. With main courses for €13 I can't offer quality. It just doesn't work!
