The food is really great and everyone is really friendly and accommodating We've been eating here for years and have never been disappointed

The food is very, very tasty and we love driving 30km to eat at the best Greek place. And the service is always top!

You never have to wait long and the food is delicious. It's better to make a reservation as it is usually quite full

Very professionally run restaurant. The menu is more classic Greek, very meat-heavy. What we liked: the restaurant is partially barrier-free, the very attentive service extended the intermediate door especially for our wheelchair. Unfortunately, the toilets on the first floor can only be reached via stairs.

Trotz Reservierung mussten wir am Tisch noch 20 Minuten warten bis wir Getränke und Essen bestellen konnten. Der Salat kam vor den Getränken und war okay. Die Bedienung war gestresst und unfreundlich sie hätten 80 Essen da dauerts halt...das tat es dann auch bis der Hauptgang kam vergingen nochmals 40 Minuten. Pommes waren gut Tsatsiki auch. Das Fleisch war sehr hart und trocken bei allen 4 Gerichten und hatte von griechischer Kochkunst nichts mehr übrig dazu war es aber auch noch nicht günstig

We visited this Greek restaurant without a reservation, but they kindly accommodated us, which was a great start. The food was excellent, especially the grilled dishes—flavorful and perfectly prepared. However, the dessert (Galaktoburiko) was disappointing. The top layer of phyllo pastry was extremely hard, almost like reinforced cardboard. I even asked for a knife, but cutting it without completely crushing the dessert was nearly impossible. Another downside is that they only accept cash payments, so make sure to have cash on hand. Apart from these issues, everything else was great. The location is convenient, the service was excellent, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Overall, a pleasant experience!

I had a grilled plate, which was very good and the waitress was very attentive to us, even though the place was full.

Today we spontaneously went to Bad Orb for dinner and were seduced into the Acropolis of Athens. The food is simply delicious, everything is very freshly prepared. The waiting time is very short, so everything is delivered very quickly. The service was very friendly and accommodating so you feel welcome as a guest. To say goodbye there was an Annis schnapps. We would love to come back. Thank you for everything.

Went to Akropolis for dinner as a family with two children and friends. Luckily we had reserved, (7 people) The waitress responded to the children's wishes, (mayo, ketchup) asked if everything was OK, even though there were no seats left. Super organized and very professional. Everyone enjoyed the food, there was nothing left over. Definitely coming back.

We were there with 3 adults and 2 children and had reserved the table for a maximum of 4 people. Another one was no longer available. There were probably regular guests. Everything was very cramped and very loud. That might have been possible, but when our food came the meatballs were gone Not fully baked and my loin skewer was cold, so I had to say something. I got something else, but I wasn't asked what I wanted to eat. I think the gentlemen were totally overwhelmed, but the staff were friendly, but that didn't matter used

The food is very tasty. My favorite dish is grilled plain calamari. A wide selection of sides beyond fries. In general, the menu is very varied. The side salad is the first taste. The service is always friendly, cheerful and accommodating. The outdoor area is also nice, even though it is right on the street. When we are in Bad Orb, we definitely plan a visit to the restaurant.

Although we didn't have a reservation, we got a cozy table. The waiter was very attentive. For example, as soon as I put my knife and fork down when I was full, he approached the table to take the plates and ask if everything was okay. The food itself exceeded my hopes. I didn't even know that squid can be so tender. Also the rest of the food was top-notch. The interior was cozy and decorated with Greek pillars. The only point that I didn't like was that they only take cash, but it wasn't enough to take the fifth star. All in all, it was one of the best restaurant experiences I had in a while.

There were three of us there, one of my friends ate vegetarian food and was thrilled. My other friend and I had lamb. I can only recommend it to everyone. It was super delicious and my friend also liked the lamb very much. You could choose the side dishes you wanted and I thought that was good too. The service was also good. The only criticism is that the toilets are on the first floor and the stairs are quite steep, not good for older people who can no longer climb stairs well. I had the pleasure of dining at the Acropolis Athens in Bad Orb and absolutely loved it. Particularly noteworthy is the chicken breast fillet Metaxa, which was not only visually appealing but also a highlight in terms of taste. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked, the sauce was flavorful and well balanced. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience very pleasant. The ambience in the restaurant is inviting and creates a cozy atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. I can fully recommend the Acropolis Athens and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Food was good, but unfortunately only cash payment was possible, but the notice only came when payment was made, very unfriendly and arrogant reaction from the staff.

If you're already insulted upon greeting, you know that the rest probably won't get any better. We reserved a table and politely asked for one closer to the street to enjoy some sunshine. When we asked politely, the waitress replied rudely, "What difference does it make?" Please let your guests decide whether this makes a difference to them. Now to the food.... Meat was not good quality - very tough. Fish was swimming in fat (butter or oil?). Pita bread was moist and soft and also topped with butter or oil. They also sprinkled chili powder on top, which I've never experienced before. Salad was somehow from yesterday. At least that's how he looked. The food was very expensive.

Great Greek restaurant with great service, nice ambience and delicious food. The gyros here come, as it should, from the skewer, not from the pan. Well seasoned and nothing was fried to death. The selection of side dishes is also great.

The dishes are exactly the same, so the menu is a completely unnecessary addition for us. and expensive. We ordered two different dishes. The service isn't the best either, but the fact that credit cards aren't accepted further worsens the reputation. We won't go here again. I was in a much better and more elegant restaurant. This place is expensive and can be skipped.

We cannot understand the good reviews Gyros without rice or fries with a small salad (not Greek) 18.80 (!) Plus pita bread for 4.80 (!). Someone must have added the increased VAT five times to the prices. For almost 25.- you expect something different.

Food is absolutely delicious. Rarely have Greek food been so good. The waitresses were super nice. Prices okay. The only thing I don't like is my husband had a corfu plate and didn't want the meatball. So he asked to leave this out. Later we saw that we had to pay 2 euros extra. We called and asked and they said it was on the menu. Any change on the plate costs 2 euros extra. Oh well. So pay attention to that. But highly recommended.

Since 2022 I have been visiting ♥Bad Orb♥ at regular intervals. Whenever I'm in town, I'm magically drawn to Ludwig-Schmank-Straße 17 - to the "Greek". ACROPOLIS OF ATHENS = you get 5 stars from me. The food tastes excellent, the service "whether with a beard or without" :) haha ​​---everyone is very nice.
