Rises Delicacies is a small restaurant serving Greek specialties. The decor was cozy, tavern style. However, I found the chairs unsuitable for sitting for long periods of time. The seat was very small, so that if you didn't sit bolt upright you basically had to sit on the edge of the chair. The food was generally good, but our moussaka was only lukewarm. Since there were very few guests in the restaurant at the time, it can be ruled out that there was a long wait in the kitchen and the waiter simply didn't manage to serve. So it probably wasn't fresh but warmed up. You can do that, but I would have expected fresh food given the prices and the ambience. The moussaka tasted good, but the portion was quite small. In principle, you can certainly spend an evening here.

Fast and friendly service. Short waiting time. Good selection and prices. Likewise the ambience. However, I was unfortunately disappointed with the food. Unfortunately, the garlic bread potatoes didn't taste like garlic. I have never had Metaxa sauce served so badly seasoned. The gyro itself was also not very satisfactory. The filling of the bifteki was very poor. Garlic bread was okay, but could have been more. The side salad was delicious. All in all, we've had much better Greek food. Bonus star for service and ambience.

Great for some, not great for others. There is a smoking room. This means that there is also a smell in the non-smoking area. The burger was okay, the fries were great. Beer is NOT on tap.

Very nice restaurant I would definitely recommend. For some reason though the last months no one is picking up the phone and delivery is not possible.

The restaurant is very spacious and does have some more private seating/ corner for larger groups. The service was unfortunately very slow. Only one person managing sirnks and another person managing food orders. Which was very confusing - however it was explained later on that they were missing a substantial number of staff that evening. If this information would've been flagged beforehand it would've been beneficial. However, the food and drinks came quickly and Ouzo was being poured very generously. The portions were big and we shared a starter platter as well as a Mykonos platter which were more than enough. All was freshly made and tasty even the garlic potatoes are delicious! Overall recommend and worth a visit!

Magical gem on Traveplatz. Wonderful ambience. Not too modern. Not too cozy. Extremely loving service. Very quick and attentive. Very exceptional Greek wines. Starters are fantastic. Fresh. Homemade. Aromatic. 90% of the starters are vegetarian. We had gyros and souvlaki. The gyro is from Duroc pork. Tender. Fillet-like. Juicy. Not finished. Unusually spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. Plus fresh, homemade chimichurri and fresh tzatziki.

Unfortunately, it's permanently closed and no idea if it will over open somewhere else. What a shame it was a charming and friendly place with lovely home-cooked food at decent prices. It's a real loss for the neighborhood.

Good food, reasonable prices, and modern decor. The tzatziki is especially recommended.
