My best experience so far in a restaurant with Greek cuisine. Very pleasant people. Very well selected dishes lovingly prepared with dedication. In terms of taste, everything is an experience for the senses. We would be happy to come back and would be happy to pass this on as an express recommendation!

We were ten people and shared many different dishes. Each was tasty with delicate Greek flavours and some fusion- with great results and delightful presentation. Outstanding! A gastronomic delight! Plenty of vegetarian options.

Delicious authentic family-owned Greek restaurant in a quiet residential area of Berlin. I had the feta tempura which is some of the tastiest food I have had this year, and the gyros were at the right level of chewiness and flavor. Excellent place with really welcoming service, will definitely be back.

Even though I specifically stated that I have a gluten allergy, the fish that came yesterday was cooked with flour. Even though I had decided to make it without flour. I guess they don't care about human health.

First things first, the quality of the food is really high and good. The service is tried hard. We found the portions to be relatively small, so anyone who is very hungry should definitely take a starter. The vegetarian moussaka was very tasty, we were disappointed with the gyros, it wasn't traditionally seasoned and we weren't impressed by the taste. The chimichurri only tasted like olive oil.

The food is good, but the prices are too expensive for the mediocre quality of the products. The service seemed awkward and unprofessional to me. The atmosphere is chic, but at times the place smells like a chip shop and our clothes smelled very strongly of grease after the visit.

We ate here last week and unfortunately have to agree with our previous reviews. It started when the person who served us wanted to offer us the spot at the corner of the construction site, which we politely declined. The starter (goat cheese gratin on wild berries) came to us carelessly prepared and lukewarm. My husband had the leg of lamb, which was tender but far too fatty. It came carelessly prepared and drowned in a bed of vegetables dripping with grease. I ordered the gyros, the meat was unfortunately tough and completely over-seasoned, and there was tzatziki that unfortunately never saw any cucumbers or garlic. Unfortunately it was a loveless, white mess... there was also chimichurri, which consisted of three parsley leaves drowned in oil and had no taste. Really disappointing and completely overpriced.

Nice restaurant with friendly service. My gyros were too salty for me, but maybe that's just a matter of taste. All in all it was good.

The first Greek place where we will definitely come more often! VERY PLENTY PORTIONS!! We shared a small starter, but still didn't finish our main courses😅 Service super nice, There are currently plenty of parking spaces in front of it and even vegetarians get their money's worth. Thank you!!!

The waiters are friendly across the board, the food is very tasty, only the artichoke hearts were bitter and hard. Overall, the portions are rather manageable. What ultimately led to the star deduction: There was no Retsina! A no go for me at the Greek! Even the ouzo on the house didn't comfort me.

My friend and I wanted to get greek food and were really excited to try this place. We got to sit outside and the atmosphere was quite nice, but it took a super long time for us to get our order taken, our food took over an hour, and then when we got our Gyros it was cold :( . I would have been happy to say something, but no one came to our table again for awhile so we just went ahead and ate it. Overall the spices and everything was super good, the tzatziki was fluffy and delicious, but the meat and pita being cold kind of ruined the whole dish. The ambiance, servers, and location were all great. Just a bit of a bummer with the food! The ouzo at the end was nice though. Overall 3/5.

I ordered food. It was by far the worst gyro I've ever eaten. Tough, partly still pink meat. The fries were soggy. The food consisted of 50% spices, herbs and onions. Some things were forgotten.

Unfortunately, my visit to the Kane Ma restaurant on June 8th at Weichselstraße 26a was not as pleasant as I had hoped. The service was rather inattentive, which meant we had to wait a few times for our orders. The taste of the food also didn't impress me and didn't meet my expectations. Maybe the team had a bad day, but I hope the service and food quality improve in the future.

I am eating very often at this place it’s very cozy and the service very friendly also the quaility of the food is one of the best in Berlin it worths the money nice work 🤞

Leek leg was very well prepared, unfortunately the spices were forgotten. There were vegetables too Briam, didn't know what they were, so I googled it. It was supposed to be eggplant and zucchini with tomatoes, but it came with a warm carrot salad, maybe it's the modern version, but unfortunately I hate warm carrots. But my friend's food tasted delicious.

We've been there several times and so far everything has always been great and tasty, which makes it even more disappointing because the food (in this case price performance and quality) and service were unfortunately an absolute no-go today. (Beef fillet) for €26.50 consisting of 3 mini pieces of meat (approx. 60g), a few lettuce leaves and a small portion of potatoes, is really an outrage for the price (ordered twice). The portions were so small. When we pointed out our disappointment in a really friendly way, the waitress replied: "The price of beef has gone up and I'll pass it on to the chef." No accommodation or compensation in any form. The customer is king and the service in this case was simply bad, as neither "thank you" nor "goodbye" was said when we paid (probably because we didn't tip this time). No insight at all and then saying goodbye to guests like that was really unprofessional. The lamb chops were fatty, tough, strong in taste and also had 1kg of beans soaked in fat. It's a shame when customers like us, who were otherwise always satisfied, are treated so rudely. UPDATE to owner's response: Wow, how sad that an owner can't handle constructive criticism and even aggressively insults the customer personally, assumes lies and math weaknesses and even distorts the facts. That's pretty pathetic! There's actually nothing more to say about this and it doesn't seem to be an isolated case, as you can see from the owner's angry spelling. Unprofessional on every level. Anyone who reads this aggressive response from the owner to my review will be deterred enough from ever visiting Kane Mam because no one wants to be treated like that in the restaurant.

Wow, what a well-seasoned, delicious Greek meal, a little different from classic Greek cuisine. And such a nice service that responded to all of our wishes and questions. Definitely go there❣️The four of us celebrated our passing the exam there and were sad that we were so exhausted and could no longer enjoy delicious and loving things...

Wir waren schon öfter da und bisher war immer alles toll und lecker, daher noch enttäuschender, da das Essen (in dem Fall Preis Leistung und Qualität) und Service heute leider absolutes no-go waren. (Rinderfilet) für 26,50€ bestehend aus 3 mini Stückchen Fleisch (ca. 60g) ein paar Salatblätter und eine kleine Portion Kartoffeln, ist für den Preis wirklich eine Unverschämtheit (wurde 2 mal bestellt). Die Portionen waren so mini. Als wir wirklich freundlich auf unsere Enttäuschung hingewiesen haben, Antwort der Bedienung: "Rinderpreis ist gestiegen und ich gebe es an den Koch weiter." Kein Entgegenkommen oder Entschädigung in irgendeiner Form. Der Kunde ist König und der Service war in dem Fall einfach schlecht, da weder "Danke" noch "auf Wiedersehen" gesagt wurde, als wir bezahlt haben (vermutlich weil wir diesmal eben kein Trinkgeld gegeben haben). Keinerlei Einsicht und Gäste dann so zu verabschieden, echt unprofessionell. Die Lammkoteletts waren fettig, zäh, strenger Geschmack und dazu noch 1kg in Fett getränkte Bohnen. Schade, wenn gerade Kunden wie wir, die sonst immer zufrieden waren, so unverschämt behandelt werden.

We were deeply disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. We brought a birthday cake to celebrate a special occasion, but instead of a warm reception, we felt insulted. A staff member even left our table shouting about our cake in slang. This not only ruined the surprise but also dampened the overall mood. It appears the restaurant is under significant pressure to maintain its high rating, which may explain the discrepancy between the high score and the average food quality we experienced. We recommend the staff take a deep breath and learn how to treat customers with respect. If customer feedback is so important to you, it’s crucial to behave accordingly. This type of behavior is unacceptable. We will not be returning.

The restaurant is quite pleasant. Unfortunately, the waiting times between courses were quite long. You are ignored when you want something. Ultimately you had to go to the counter and tell the waitress that you wanted to pay. After 15 minutes of waiting, no invoice had been issued. A timely return is not guaranteed.

Good quality and taste of the food, the service was also very attentive (partly English speaking). The price was also reasonable at around 28 euros per person. Definitely worth repeating!

A very mediocre restaurant in my opinion. The food is not "typical" Greek and the prices are exorbitant. It's better to eat authentically somewhere else. UPDATE: The owner is trying to delete negative reviews, so please always read the reviews here carefully - my previous comment has already been deleted for no reason, which I find absolutely dubious. Whether some of the reviews were written by the owner herself remains to be seen at this point...

We had a wonderful evening at Kane Mam, the food and service were great. It was full and the kitchen was well utilized due to the take-out service. The service openly communicated any waiting times and was anticipatory of our children so that their food came first, the hunger was simply too acute :) The appetizer platter for 2 is a dream and very plentiful, and actually had it in our group More than enough for 5 adults. We'll definitely be back!

It’s a mediocre Greek food attempted to be served as something gourmé or alternative. I should know, I’m Greek. But it really gets only 1 star because they tried to remove my initial 3 star review. I see now “Kane mam” how you’re keeping the high rating. Just lame.

Best Greek food I've had in Berlin, and I've tried quite a few in the city. My new go-to Greek restaurant.

The Bifteki was unfortunately disappointing in terms of taste, compared to other Greek restaurants in Berlin. I also apparently got charged for the Ouso, which was supposed to be on the house, because I had to wait about 30 minutes for the takeaway food. I paid €17.20 for 1 Bifteki. It's a shame :( The staff was very nice though.

I thought I knew the standard of Greek food in Berlin. Wrong thought! The Kane Mam totally picked us up with its incredible hospitality and good service. The food was a revelation of modern Greek cuisine. Drinks and food were explained and this remained in your memory for a long time. The ambience, the feeling, you feel comfortable here. Opposite there is a playground, nothing more is possible. We'll be back, that's for sure.

Super friendly staff, very attentive, which is something you rarely find in F-Hain and Xberg. And the food is exactly as I know it from the local parts of Greece - just interpreted in a new and modern way. Hopefully the restaurant doesn't gain too much tourist hype and stays among the neighborhood residents. It's worth making a reservation from 6 p.m. Card payment possible.

This isn't your typical Greek. Truly, as far as I could see, not a cheesy figure anywhere... We sat comfortably outside, the food was tasty and not too much (but of course we were still full) and when it came to dessert, special requests were taken into account in a very friendly manner and as a matter of course (we asked politely, as we should). Great, I'd love to come back!

We've been to Kane Mam a few times. We are used to impeccable food, which absolutely justifies the price. This time it was a bitter disappointment. The stuffed grape leaves were completely dry and barely edible, the beans unfortunately didn't taste like anything and the meat in the main course was dry. In addition, the waitress was very inattentive and cleared the plates before everyone had eaten. No recommendation from me at these prices.

First of all, I've been here twice. Overall, I often eat Greek food and know the cuisine well. There are typical Greek dishes here that are generally well prepared. However, in my opinion, the quality offered does not correspond to the price. The sea bream was dry, as was the bifteki. The gyro portion was rather lukewarm when it arrived. You couldn't eat the paidakia at all because the meat was tough. The moussaka is said to have been very good. Unfortunately, no one came and asked about us in between. Nevertheless, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

The three of us had dinner. Appetizers. The vineyard leaves were normal, as was the pulp, although we expected a little more at a price of €20 (it wasn't buttery soft). The fried eggplant and zucchini was freshly prepared, but lacked spices. For the main courses we chose from normal Greek food and had Greek pasta with king prawns and mussels, risotto with dates and nuts and braised leg of lamb with vegetables. The pasta had no bite, the sauce was soggy and tasteless. We couldn't tell whether that was the definition of Greek pasta. The prawns were tough, lukewarm and tasteless. The mussels tasted fishy, ​​so we didn't bother with this dish. When paying, the waitress apologized and removed it from the bill. The risotto was too soft and without seasoning. The lamb was very tender and juicy, but had to be searched for in the braised vegetables. This dish was missing a side dish such as rice. In the end, our son wanted a glass of tap water. This was rejected by the waitress on the grounds that they were not allowed to serve anything in this restaurant.

The food was great, but we were very annoyed with the waiter. He seemed extremely disinterested and didn't apologize for only bringing the tzatziki we ordered when everyone had finished their main courses. The waiter was also unable to provide any information about many dishes, but also made no attempt to inquire with his more experienced colleagues. "What kind of dessert is this?" "I don't know - maybe Nut." Maybe, maybe not. With regard to possible allergies alone, it would be important to be informed! It really annoyed us, the guy just seemed arrogant and uninterested, and unfortunately that spoiled our enjoyment of the very tasty food.

Here you can enjoy delicious, authentic Greek food. Diverse menu with classics from Greece but some have also been converted into vegetarian options for the neighborhood. There is also a changing offer on the first page of the menu. I enjoyed it and the host was very nice. The portions were almost too big, but that's just how it is in Greece. In my opinion, everything is also heavily salted/spiced, which I remember is typical of Greek cuisine. The two of us paid around 70 euros including a starter, wine and coffee. Will definitely come back.

Mal etwas anderes griechisches Essen, modern aber doch traditionell vor allem aber lecker und ansehlich. Es ist etwas teurer als der Durchschnittsgrieche, aber noch akzeptabel. Vorab und/oder zum Schluss hab ich den "gratis" Ouzo vermisst. Dennoch kommen wir germ wieder und können es beruhigt empfehlen.

Wir hatten mit 3 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern einen wunderbaren Abend! Toller Gastgeber und leckere kreative griechische Küche! Eine absolute Empfehlung! Wir Danken und wünschen das Beste für 2024!

We went because of the great food reviews and were disappointed. The chicken souvlaki was tasteless and the food was overpriced. Despite that, the service was lovely and the zucchini fritters were good.

Die Karte beeindruckt, auch mit ihren vegetarischen Optionen; es gibt eine Saisonkarte. Das gewählte Essen schmeckte super und war schön hergerichtet. Ambiente geräumig, warm eingerichtet. Service tadellos.

Ich bin außerordentlich froh, dieses tolle Restaurant in meinem Kiez zu wissen. Abwechslungsreiche, zum Teil saisonal wechselnde, Karte. Alle bisher bestellten Gerichte haben mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Das liegt mit Sicherheit auch an den hochwertigen Zutaten. Dazu eine gute Getränkeauswahl und ein überaus freundlicher sowie zuvorkommender Service. Danke, denn das alles ist nicht selbstverständlich.

Die haben auch griechisches Essen, und nicht nur die Teller voll mit Fleisch die mit Restaurants in Griechenland nichts zu tun haben. Wenn die auch die Gyros und Souvlaki aus dem Menu entfernen würden, wären die noch besser. Kartenzahlungen sind möglich. Einziger Nachteil: Die Belüftung ist schlecht. Als wir weg waren, haben unsere Klamotten stark gerochen.

Ein tolles, griechisches Restaurant mit Klassikern, aber dennoch mit modernen Touch. Die Speisekarte ist prall gefüllt mit schmackhaften Gerichten der griechischen Küche. Die Tusche sind liebevoll eingedeckt ohne 05/18 Besteck und Teller. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und einladend. Ich komme gern wieder.

Grieche mit Anspruch, wie schon die elaborierten Vorspeisen zeigen. Das Mythos-Lager kommt vom Fass. Wirklich schmackhaft. Hat aber seinen Preis, zumal in der Gegend.

Der etwas andere Grieche. Moderne Einrichtung und tolle Auswahl an Gerichten (etwas gehobenere Preise, aber dafür super lecker!). Der Service ist auch freundlich, aber leider mussten wir sehr lange auf's Essen warten (eine Stunde, daher einen Stern Abzug). Als Wiedergutmachung gab es eine Runde Ouzo auf's Haus. Das Warten lohnt sich trotzdem!

Leckeres Essen, faire Preise, schönes Ambiente, man kann draußen sitzen

Wie hier schon geschrieben, einer der seltenen Griechen, die frisch und sehr schmackhaft kochen können. Waren das zweite Mal hier und wieder alle Gerichte super. Das Taramas als Vorspeise war wieder leicht und aromatisch, das Gyros vom Duroc-Schwein knusprig mit Kräutern und sehr gutem Tzatziki und breiten Pommes, die auch noch nach einigen Minuten knusprig blieben. Service sehr engagiert und das Publikum angenehm.
