Fantastic beer selection, Indian food and service. The team was so friendly & attentive and gave great recommendations. Could not have been more pleasantly surprised by this superb spot. 10/10 will be coming back again soon! Highly recommend the non-veg starters and chicken curries!

Cozy little restaurant with delicious wines and very friendly staff.

First, the description: there's no food here; the Alte Schlagbaum isn't a restaurant. You can enjoy a drink here and certainly have a good party, and smoking is permitted in the dining room. The staff is typically friendly, quick, and quick-witted. Karaoke is often offered; especially later in the evening, the place is usually packed with happy people. All that remains to be added after the actual review is that Kevin, Bella, practically alone rocks the place 😜 (just for you, honey; forgive all the others. I like you too 😁i)

Lenchen is an absolute legend! The schnitzel platter is highly recommended.

Unfortunately you can smoke inside. I don't recommend it on cold days as the smell is unbearable.

Had a great afternoon in here before the Frankfurt v Spurs game. The food was great, the pub decor was great, and the locals and staff were friendly, especially the barlady who gave us free shots "as you are going to lose tonight". Safe to say those shots taste even better now!!

Had some schnitzel and beer for lunch after strolling around Frankfurt. Schnitzel was a little salty for my taste but still okay. Impeccable service, very friendly and English menu is available too!
