Rustic and quaint, the decor has seen better days...but it's clean. Jägerschnitzel, fries, salad, and a large Coke for €20.50, it was inexpensive and delicious. Homemade salad dressing, a nice, light coating, and the fries were also very tasty. Service is friendly and attentive. I love the beautiful old pictures on the walls. I love simple restaurants like this. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the schnitzel, but believe me...it was really good. The restrooms, as expected, are also older, but nice and clean. A few people have already left autographs on the inside of the restroom doors. Eintracht Frankfurt fans like to hang out there. I've already planned my next visit.

We've never had such a delicious, hospitable, or wonderful meal in Frankfurt before. Simply fantastic!

The trip wasn't really worth it.

Lovely atmosphere, fast service, and good prices. Great drinks, and the hygiene products in the ladies' restroom are fantastic! You don't find that everywhere. Karaoke at Schlagbaum is always great fun and simply a blast.
