We spent two wonderful days at the Hotel ConventGarten before Christmas. We were very satisfied with the “Two days of wanderlust” offer in the deluxe double room. The rooms are bright and cozy, and the restaurant in the winter garden is very tastefully decorated. The employees were consistently very friendly and attentive. A large parking lot is available free of charge for cars. We found that very pleasant. The hotel is also barrier-free. The location of the hotel directly on the Kiel Canal is simply fantastic. Large and small ships pass by the house again and again, so wanderlust is guaranteed. Tips: In front of the hotel is the pedestrian tunnel through the canal with its gigantic escalator. And not far away, the transporter bridge at the Rendsburg High Bridge invites you to take a very special trip (also possible by car!). The Paradeplatz and the city of Rendsburg can easily be reached on foot.

I am really shocked by the experience I had in this store. Since there was some confusion about the menu - some dishes were shown on Facebook but not on the regular menu - I called to politely inquire. During the first conversation the man simply hung up, which I dismissed as a mistake. On the second attempt, I politely asked if I could continue with my order, noting that the hang-up was certainly an oversight. However, to my horror, I was insulted before the man hung up again. The insults were in Turkish and went way below the belt - I understood them perfectly as I have many Turkish friends and am familiar with the language. This kind of behavior towards a customer is absolutely unacceptable! Not only was there a lack of patience and customer focus, but also the most basic aspects of courtesy and respect. Such behavior is the opposite of service-oriented and leaves an extremely bad impression. I will definitely avoid this store and cannot recommend it.

Lots of pool tables and dart boards, a bit dark ambience but that's probably intentionally designed that way. Cash only isn't necessarily practical but otherwise we enjoyed the evening there.
