I know Indian cuisine well, have been to India twice and regularly eat Indian food in Berlin. Unfortunately, what I received today had little to do with good Indian cuisine. I ordered "Saag" with spinach, garlic, ginger and Indian spices - actually. Unfortunately the food was bland and had hardly any taste. At €8.90, was this portion absolutely overpriced?
We ordered the large sushi platter for 4 people as well as the seaweed salad.
Ordering by phone went smoothly and the sushi was ready for pickup on time.
The operators are incredibly friendly and strive to provide good service.
Now about the sushi itself:
The plate was beautifully prepared and a real eye-catcher! The taste was also more than convincing and at a very good price. A sushi variation to enjoy!
We can therefore only warmly recommend Grandma Van!
The only small drawback would be that it is a bit difficult to see the menu and we could only find it in the pictures in the reviews. However, this does not detract from our rating.
We had dinner at Spreeblick in the mid-nineties and loved the hot stone cooking. We were back for dinner again and are delighted that this style is still offered! It's a delight 😋, as are the service staff and the entire ambiance! Thank you very much.
It's like an experience gastronomy... it's very relaxed and there's a cheeky saying every now and then... big selection of food, the price is OK and the food is quite good for a snack.
