I am a regular guest and am always completely satisfied. So far I've found everything really tasty and fresh. Highly recommend.

After reading many reviews I decided to visit this restaurant with the interesting name and beautiful photos. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the long waiting time. There were only a few people there, but there was only one lady serving everyone and I had to wait for a very long time. My burger was inedible. The meat was poorly cooked and had an unpleasant smell, possibly not fresh. The rolls were old and the lettuce wasn't fresh, the leaves were wilted. The juice was served to me only after a long time, which upset me even more. The atmosphere was not pleasant. It was very hot in the room. The photos do not correspond to reality, the interior should have been renovated long ago. There were dusty old artificial flowers everywhere. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.

I tried the dishes of this place for the first time at a party and I have to say that I fell in love not only with the food but also with the environment and the atmosphere created thanks to the great joy of the owner. Afterwards I was at a party here again a month after the previous one and what can I say: always fresh food, the vegetables can be seen both visually and in taste, what is excellent, what is already fried doesn't taste at all like dirty oil, on the contrary , it doesn't bother your stomach and is super crunchy, the smoothies have a really tropical taste and one makes you want the other. The place is decorated in the colors of the Dominican Republic flag and decorated with objects reminiscent of South America, just to distract you a little from this gray Germany. everything very neat and clean. I was there another time with friends and tried the empanadas for the first time and it was love at first bite. I recommend all three flavors, but the chicken one remains my favorite. delicious food, wonderful place and sunny welcome. I will definitely go back there with more than pleasure. 🇩🇴☀️🦜🥥🥭 🤍

The restaurant is small but really impressed me! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with lively Latin rhythms in the background that perfectly complement the authentic mood. The food was simply outstanding. were crispy and yet EL SANCOCHO thrilled me – fresh, aromatic and perfectly prepared. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more pleasant. The waitress patiently explained the menu to us and made recommendations that did not disappoint. I can recommend Dominican Bautzen to anyone looking for an authentic Latin American culinary experience. Everything is just right here: the food, the atmosphere and the service. I'll definitely come back.

Fresh food, with great flavor, affordable prices, small but cozy place, with the possibility of eating on the terrace. You can order the food to take away and Heidy prepares it with great pleasure, she gives you all the facilities so that you can eat exactly what you want. If you don't like an ingredient, they will change it for another offering a wide range of fresh foods. Smoothies of various flavors and very delicious. The service is very friendly and willing to satisfy your needs, always with a smile. Without a doubt a place I would return to without a doubt.

This is my rating and my experience in the Dominican Bautzen. It was a very nice and pleasant experience. Trying new and interesting flavors of Caribbean food. And if we talk about Alex and Heidy, they are very good people. So it was a unique experience for me and all I can say is come and experience it for yourself.

Very nice bistro. The food and the ambience give you a family holiday feeling! The food is freshly prepared and tastes very good. The empanadas remind me of my homeland Argentina, simply delicious! The service from owner Heidy is very friendly and nice. Last year we also ordered a party service for our daughter's school start and everyone was more than satisfied! Simply recommended!

The operators Heidy and Alexsander are polite and completely fine. The food is always freshly prepared and a real treat. Especially the Latin American dishes. If I could, I would go to this bistro every day. If you read other people's reviews, you'll know that you should definitely visit this bistro. Unfortunately, there is only one review from a woman yuliya-g, who wanted to harm the operator with a bad statement because she wanted to work in this bistro but not officially. Of course they both didn't go along with that. Therefore, don't listen to this person. My conclusion: Visit this bistro and you're on vacation. To the operators: KEEP IT UP. HASTA PRONTO

The only positive thing I can mention is the large portions and affordable prices, but everything else leaves something to be desired. The dishes are dirty, poorly washed, the glasses don't seem to be washed at all, what's most amazing is that the food is not fresh, weathered or old. If you still want to come here after all of the above...You are brave people!!!!! My rating is based solely on personal observations in the kitchen. I am responsible for every word I say. The lawyer has already prepared a corresponding statement on our employment relationship. As an employer, you are responsible for your actions before the law and there have already been complaints from other employees. If someone is not honest with their employees, they are also deceiving their customers. When preparing fish that wasn't fresh, I've witnessed dirty gloves you used lying around the kitchen, picking up food in front of guests, reprocessing food that isn't being used, the oil is not changed. Often the products are not fresh, the fallen product does not always end up neatly on the plate when preparing food, the dishes are simply washed under cold running water and there are many other violations of hygiene standards. Your child was in the kitchen for half a day even though he had a fever and a cough. What other hygiene standards can we talk about?

Had dinner there today for two. One bowl each (couscous and Thai) and one enpalada(?) with shrimp. The bag tasted good and was the best for the price. Unfortunately, my wife's couscous bowl was without pasta, parmesan and radishes... even though it said so. The Thai bowl with the peanut dressing was TipTop ❤️ Overall a good meal. The ambience is just what it is 😄. The young lady at the service was alone and very friendly to us. Oh right…. and if the cash register shows €7.50 for a small bowl, then please change that on the board too. I'd love to come back to you.

September 2023, order: fried egg + sweet potato fries + chickpea puree. Food very tasty, nice restaurant, fast service. The Middle American sounding music also added to the mood. The only thing that was superfluous in my opinion was the refrigerator with advertising labels with drinks (hence only 4 stars for “ambience”).

A nice restaurant. Owner-managed. Keep it up. The empañadas were very small for my taste, a little oily. So you can order one more, the taste is fine. Filled dumplings for frying. It just doesn't work without oil. The boss is very friendly and hardworking. May the Lord bless you all.

Genau das was Bautzen braucht - ein abwechslungsreiches, erfrischend neues Restaurant für jedermann der interessiert an leckeren Spezialitäten aus der Dominikanischen Republik ist! Heidi ist sehr gastfreundlich. Man kann auch draussen sitzen und die Preise sind absolut in Ordnung! :) Ausserdem wechseln einuge Gerichte täglich währenddessen andere dauerhaft erhältlich sind (Empanadas, Bowls…). Einfach mal was anderes als ein klassisch deutsches Frühstück mit Brötchen, Wurst und Käse.

Wenn man in Bautzen das Besondere sucht, ist man hier genau richtig. Heidi und Alexander sind 2 super liebe Menschen, die mit Herz und Seele ihr kleines Lokal führen. Super gemütlich, mit dem gewissen Urlaubs Feeling, absolut unglaublich leckeres Essen. Wer mal eine frische Abwechslung zu Döner und Co. sucht, ist hier gold richtig. Dieses kleine Restaurant kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen, es ist für jeden was dabei. 5 Sterne, macht weiter so 😍

Eine besondere Abwechslung für Bautzen - gute und exotische Ergänzung zu allem was die Stadt bisher kennt. Besonders die verschiedenen „Bowls“ /gemischte Schüsseln und die Smothies sind sehr lecker. Macht weiter so und bleibt uns erhalten.

Ich bin total begeistert habe heut den Lieferdienst ausprobiert mit den 4 kleinen Bowls und der Frühstücksbowl. Die sind flexibel zusammen stellbar mit mehreren Toppings mit und ohne Fleisch und selbst die kleine Bowl ist so groß dass es fast für zwei reicht . Mega gesund mega lecker und super freundliche und schnelle Lieferung nach Wunschzeit von Chef persönlich! Werde das jetzt regelmäßig nutzen!! Eine wirkliche Bereicherung für die Bautzner Lieferdienst -„Szene“

Wunderbarer Restaurant. Jedes Mal wird man mit einem anderen neuen Gericht überrascht. Ein Teil meine Heimat in Bautzen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Einfach 100% empfehlenswert. Eine wunderbare neue Farbe auf der Palette der Bautzener Gastronomie und erfrischende Abwechslung zu Döner, Asia, Pizza usw. Alles superlecker, authentisch, frisch, leicht und gesund! Wir hatten ein Catering für 50 Personen - alles bestens! Gern wieder!

Heidi und Alexander sind superliebe Personen die uns kulinarisch mit außergewöhnlichen, leckeren Gerichten aus ihrer Heimat, der DomRep, verzaubern. Die Gerichte haben immer etwas besonderes, verwendet werden ausschließlich frische Zutaten. Das Ambiente des kleinen Ladens verspricht Urlaubsfeeling bei karibischer Musik die leise im Hintergrund dudelt. Ich kann das Dominicana nur herzlichst empfehlen. Allerdings sollte man vorab möglichst online vorbestellen um nicht zu lange aufs Essen warten zu müssen.

Sehr nettes Personal und das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. 👍🍀
