The service...although they said they were new to the business...was very friendly and attentive! Worth a return visit just for the lovely service! The food and location were excellent! Home-style cooking at its finest.

We had the schnitzel with mushrooms and the beef steak. The steak was excellent, exactly as we ordered it. The schnitzel was also good, but the mushrooms were tasteless, rather mealy, and there weren't many of them.

Lovely rustic atmosphere, we really enjoyed it. The food was also excellent, another compliment to the kitchen. You needed a bit of space for the hot stone, but our vegetarians loved it too.

A truly wonderful evening! Our waiter, Rafał, was fantastic—attentive and easygoing. The highlight of the restaurant is definitely the hot stone—a real hidden gem in Bautzen! We used the Schlemmerblock (a discount voucher booklet) and it worked perfectly. The meat on the platter was excellent, and the beer was very good too! Besides the hot stone, they also serve regular German food. All in all, highly recommended!

We stayed at the guesthouse for a short break and enjoyed it very much, especially the food in the on-site restaurant – everything is freshly prepared. The waiter, in particular, was a funny guy and always in a good mood; the whole team was very attentive. We will definitely come back. The only downside was the sink in our room being too low, which wasn't very comfortable for taller people, but otherwise everything was great.

We found the beer here to be the best in Bautzen and visited the restaurant twice during our stay. For a light meal, we highly recommend the homemade spiced meat. The female server was extremely friendly and accommodating. Thank you very much.

We were guests at the guesthouse and also visited the beer garden one evening. About the guesthouse: So far, everything was fine. The room was clean, the bathroom had everything you need. Only our sofa was greasy and needed replacing. We also slept badly because of the pillows. They were practically nonexistent in terms of lining. We stayed two nights with breakfast. The first morning, everything was great. The second morning was a total disappointment. In addition to the hotel guests, they were serving food to a large group of 20-30 people. This meant that we had to ask for a seat because there were no seats available. We were then escorted outside (without asking whether it was even okay). Then we waited in line for 20 minutes for the coffee machine. The waiter didn't even come to refill things. It was chaotic and simply annoying. When you do something like this, you have to make sure that hotel guests aren't disadvantaged. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here. It wasn't a relaxing morning for us at all, which we were actually looking forward to. Beer garden: Beautiful beer garden with really comfortable seating. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive.

I've eaten here several times now and I'm impressed every time. The schnitzel is incredibly tender – crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside. The pork was also buttery soft and incredibly juicy. You can tell the love and care goes into the cooking here. The service was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. You immediately feel welcome. I was also particularly impressed by the beer – well-chilled, freshly tapped, and simply delicious. In short: If you're looking for good, honest food in a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be back!

We've stayed overnight several times in the past, but the current concept isn't my cup of tea. The staff are friendly, the food was delicious, but ordering via scanner and paying in advance, as well as the impersonal invitation to tip (for what?), is unacceptable for me!! Last time for us.

Delicious hot-smoked trout. 🤤 Everyone in our four-person group found something they liked. And a very good local wheat beer.

An innovative concept: you order online and pick up your drinks yourself at the bar. It worked well for us. The food was good, and the atmosphere, located by a stream and under a large stone bridge, was cozy.

It's on the level of a better snack bar! More or less self-service! And all for prices that correspond to a high-end restaurant. The chairs we ordered were crooked and wobbly, making it almost impossible to eat or drink! It doesn't get any less welcoming in this price range! Never again!

So, basically, a beautiful place...but: it was supposed to be my marriage proposal...a table was reserved...a table for two. It was standing on cobblestones, like the seating...neither we nor the table and chair were sitting upright...the food was okay. It was okay, but the prices for self-ordering and pickup are mind-boggling. The herb butter! was probably out, but you might get it, or whatever, that was the cream substitute. The staff is nice and helpful—no question, but it wasn't for me and "my" day, and I'm just an employee and nothing major, but that was a real shame. I'll never go there again! PS: We're still getting married.

To round off the evening with a visit to the summer theater, we chose this restaurant. The ambiance is quaint and half-timbered. Various small nooks and crannies dampen the noise of conversations in the restaurant. Outside, a large beer garden offers plenty of additional seating, all covered (some with umbrellas) and some with infrared heaters. The young gentleman who served us had a great, humorous manner that carried us through the evening. Many thanks to him! The other staff were also very friendly. The delicious food rounded off the evening. There was also a children's menu. I was particularly impressed by the fried potatoes. We'd love to come back and try the beer garden ;)

In my opinion, Spreeblick is one of the most attractive dining options in Bautzen. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The selection of beers from the in-house brewery was the reason I booked a party there. I got the recommendation during a tour of the Frenzel Brewery. We'd be happy to return.

We went to this restaurant for dinner today for the first time. The atmosphere is very nice, and the food is also delicious. What's not so nice is that you pay restaurant prices and have to get your drinks yourself at the bar. Service is something else entirely for me.

Where there's a will, there's a way. Unfortunately, neither was there.

Highly recommended. In the summer, we only had the outside seating, but when it rained, they quickly moved us inside. Super flexible and incredibly polite!

Unfriendly staff. We received a very rude welcome because we didn't immediately understand the complicated ordering system. We then went to another restaurant, where we received a friendly welcome and courteous service (the Bautzner Senfstube restaurant is highly recommended).

The ordering system in the beer garden isn't working reliably. Wait times are over an hour. Staff seem stressed and overworked.

Great brewery! We were here for the first time today, it's a great location, located directly under the Peace Bridge. Great beer garden, super cozy and rustic inside. We had 2 large beers and once the Brauerschnitzel and 1 beer meat. Delicious! We'll definitely be back. We recommend reservation.

Nice atmosphere right on the Spree. The home-brewed beer is very tasty. The food came very quickly, the steaks were cooked just right, everything was incredibly tasty. A big compliment goes to the friendly service staff. We can only recommend this restaurant.

We wanted to eat here on a Sunday in January and had ordered in advance. This proved to be useful as “Der Spreeblick” was very well attended. No wonder! It's a nice quaint place. The staff is super nice, food was served very quickly and tasted good. In the summer months you can sit outside and have a great view of the Spree, the bridge and the castle, which you can also take a short walk to from here.

A real pearl in Lusatia... We were with friends in a nice group on site...enjoyed a beer tasting and local specialties. An extraordinary waiter, who was more than motivated, accompanied us fabulously throughout the time. A rustic location where we as a group had a private room... Overall, I can only give this a 5/5* because I have absolutely nothing to criticize. Delicious food, local mustard beer, good dessert and home-brewed other beer specialties... I'll be back!

We spontaneously ate here and were very excited about the location. Very cozy and rustic. The waiter was super nice and always had a little saying 😊 The food was also delicious. Anyone who still has a knack for rolling the dice doesn't have to pay the bill. I thought that was a really cool idea.
