A cute little place. Here you will receive a warm welcome, both from the staff and from the guests. The portions are sufficient and at an absolutely fair price. The cooking is German-bourgeois and delicious. Seasoned meat, fire meat, gypsy mass and so on are all homemade by the chef. An absolute recommendation, always happy...

The food, the service and the prices - everything was great! Here the boss still cooks himself! No long waits for drinks and food. We'll definitely be back.

After I was escorted out in a somewhat unfriendly manner at the Preisnitz garden restaurant, I was recommended the Zum Gartenfreund restaurant. There was a sign here saying there were no seats left, but after a quick question I was offered a spot. The food is freshly prepared and you wait about 20 minutes, which is perfectly fine. The service is quick and very friendly. If I'm in Bautzen again, I'll definitely come here again, thanks for the delicious food
