This was our second time there and this time we were less satisfied because the food was not what we expected. The meat was just too dry and too hard, 3 small, very thin slices on a large plate seemed a bit sadly abandoned to us. The service was very friendly, we just ended up waiting a long time for the bill. Price-performance clearly not justified for us personally.

I ordered via Lieferando and tapped delivery, but then I went to pick it up and the €2 delivery fee was given back to me without saying anything. Absolutely clear recommendation. Always my pleasure.

Very friendly, fast service, unfortunately the schnitzel was out of the deep fryer and there was a ready-made sauce with it. As a result, the price level does not match the schnitzel on offer. In a restaurant I expect a pan-fried schnitzel in clarified butter. Too bad!

Very tasty, home-style food with nice service!

It was our first time at Chang Puak in Hilden and we were very positively surprised. As soon as you enter, you almost feel like you are in Thailand - the furnishings are traditional, lovingly designed and radiate a warm, authentic atmosphere. The food absolutely convinced us. We particularly liked the concept that you first choose a basic dish (e.g. curry, fried noodles or rice dishes) and then select the type of meat you want - whether chicken, beef, duck or shrimp - separately. If you want, you can of course also order the dishes vegetarian or vegan. We really liked this flexibility because everyone can find something that suits them. We had a red curry with chicken and a Pad Thai - both freshly prepared, tasty and very nicely presented. The sharpness can also be adjusted individually, which we found to be very pleasant. The service was friendly, attentive and took a lot of time to answer our questions. We felt completely comfortable. Overall it was a very successful evening. Authentic cuisine, warm atmosphere and fair prices – we will definitely come back and can only recommend Chang Puak!
