Wir kommen gerne wieder. Es passt eigentlich alles...von den Speisen her, ist für jeden etwas dabei. Preis/ Leistung ist angemessen.

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder zu Gast im Pfannkuchen Haus in Hilden gewesen. Eigentlich hat sich nichts geändert. Ein einzigartiges Restaurant in/über einer Reithalle. Der Service war richtig gut, freundlich, aufmerksam . Das Essen ist vielseitig, für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Es ist sehr lecker, ob Pfannkuchen oder Bratkartoffeln, Schnitzel.

Ein sehr interessantes Restaurant, wo es sehr viel zu sehen gibt, mit einem Spitzenkoch, der für sehr gutes bürgerliches essen sorgt und sehr netten Bedienungen

Leider wurde ich enttäuscht. Es wird in Hilden und Umgebung soviel dazu berichtet. War heute das erste Mal dort essen. Klar soll die Deko die Geschichte des Lokals unterstreichen. Es hat seinen Charme. Aber es sollte noch bissl gepflegt sein. Das Essen war leider auch nicht besonders zu loben : der Spargel zerkocht, die Pommes naja. Das Schnitzel hat eine gute Panade und wurde toll ausgebacken. Leider war auch etwas im essen was nicht hingehörte. Es wurde erneuert aber bei dem Gegenstand hätte ich erwartet, dass es auf der Rechnung natürlich nicht mehr drauf steht. Ich verstehe jeden Stammgast und Fan dort weiterhin zu essen, denn es hat auch was uriges. Ich werde es jedoch nicht nach dem heutigen Erlebnis.

Wir sind vor drei Wochen an einem Sonntag ganz spontan zur Pfannkuchenstube nach Hilden gefahren. Obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten, wurden wir freundlich empfangen und bekamen direkt einen schönen Tisch angeboten. Ambiente & Service: Das Restaurant ist ein echtes Erlebnis! Es ist idyllisch und etwas abgelegen zwischen Feldern und einem Reiterhof versteckt. Das urige Ambiente ist einzigartig – man fühlt sich fast wie in einem Museum. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen nett und herzlich, wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Essen: Die Auswahl an Pfannkuchengerichten ist riesig. Es ist ehrliche, gutbürgerliche Küche – eben noch richtig "wie bei Oma". Unsere Bestellung wurde bereits nach ca. 15–20 Minuten serviert. Die Portionen sind anständig, man wird definitiv gut satt und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top. Wichtige Hinweise für Besucher: Zahlung: Es ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich, also unbedingt an ausreichend Bargeld denken! Zugang: Das Gebäude ist leider nicht barrierefrei. Parken: Es gibt unbefestigte Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Wer Wert auf eine rustikale Atmosphäre und ehrliches Essen legt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir hatten einen tollen Nachmittag und kommen definitiv wieder!

Super! Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und auch genug das man satt wird. Die Mitarbeitende sind total freundlich und auch auf zack. Die Deko ist der Wahnsinn. Irgendwie Retro, viele Schaukasten mit Auto Deko. Sehr schön

Mit Heißhunger auf einen Pfannkuchen landete ich hier und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Lage am Waldrand ist herrlich und sorgt für eine richtig gemütliche, entspannte Atmosphäre. Auch die Einrichtung ist außergewöhnlich: wie in einem kleinen Museum mit vielen Raritäten, alten Gegenständen, Sprüchen und liebevollen Details. Man entdeckt überall etwas Neues – richtig charmant! Der Pfannkuchen war wirklich on Point – super lecker und perfekt gemacht. Auch preislich ist alles absolut in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis, das ich gerne weiterempfehle. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Absolut empfehlenswert – einzigartiges Ambiente, zurück in die gute alte Zeit katapultiert. Dabei eine umfangreiche Speisekarte mit deftigen Klassikern. Ein netter Chef serviert die Speisen selber und das gesamte Team ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir freuen uns sehr auf den nächsten Besuch.

Essen war große Auswahl, auch an Gerichten, die nicht alltäglich sind und die es auch früher(60er/70er) gab. Fanden wir klasse und hat uns auch geschmeckt. Das Lokal ist oben. Ganz urig eingerichtet mit alten Radios, Kühlerverblendungen, kleine Likör-/Schnapsfläschchen, Barbypuppen, Teddybären, Emaillen-Schilder (Route66)usw., Matchbox- Autos etc,etc. Man findet immer wieder was anderes. Ist natürlich nicht für Jedermann geeignet. Unten auch ein nach Alt entsprechender Geruch. Aber dies ist nun mal so. Im Lokal fand ich allerdings nicht. Aber wer in dieser Zeit aufgewachsen, erfreut sich an die eine oder andere Erinnerung. Vielen Dank dafür.

Besser geht es kaum. Es ist für jeden Gaumen etwas dabei und man sollte am besten einfach ganz auf sein Bauchgefühl bei der Wahl des Gerichts hören.

Die Pfannkuchenstube ist ein uriges Restaurant mit einem eigenem Flair. Es gibt viel zu sehen,Einrichtung wie ein kleines Museum voll mit interessanten antiken Gegenständen einfach mega interessant Das Essen dem Ambiente angepasst : vielseitige Hausmannskost ,Wünsche werden erfüllt, einfach mega lecker....

Yesterday, after a long time, we went back to Ralf's Pancake House. It's always a treat to eat there. We had reserved a table, which is absolutely essential. We were greeted very warmly by a lovely lady who showed us to our table. We were given the menus, and our drink order was taken. There was a wide selection again, including a special menu board. Everything sounded absolutely delicious. The server took our order, and after about fifteen to twenty minutes, we had our food, even though the restaurant was completely full. Everyone ordered something different (pepper steak, sauerbraten, pancakes, filet mignon). Kudos to the team! It's a fantastic achievement to send everything out of the kitchen so delicious, perfectly cooked, and piping hot, especially considering the size of the place. Afterward, we ordered coffee and dessert, which were also served quickly. The prices are reasonable. So, we had another wonderful birthday evening.

A real highlight – with a lot of attention to detail! The food in the pancake parlor was very good and truly delicious. They serve good, home-style cooking and a changing seasonal menu. The restaurant is decorated with a lot of love – there's something to discover everywhere, making a visit a special experience. The atmosphere is cozy, the service warm and attentive, and the value for money is absolutely spot on. We were there as a family, and our children were treated with love. They felt completely at home – that's not something you can take for granted these days, and we were particularly pleased. A special highlight are the little words of wisdom in the restrooms – original, funny, simply charming, and fitting! One star deducted for the food because our steaks were a bit too rare, rather than medium. However, this was taken care of immediately and satisfactorily. An all-round successful visit – we'll definitely be back!

We went there for the first time today...super delicious 😋 The place is like a cabinet of curiosities and is worth a visit in itself... The chef and his crew are super friendly and have their hearts in the right place 👍

The service was great 👍 It was quite busy, but the drinks still came very quickly. The salad dressing was amazing, and the ingredients were fresh. My chanterelle mushroom dish was fresh and delicious with homemade dumplings. It was simply like eating at Grandma's - the taste was fantastic 👍 We'll be back for the pancakes.

Hello, we wanted to come by, and I just heard that you don't allow dogs inside. I can't believe it; I've never experienced that in 20 years. Can you tell me something about that?

I was skeptical at first because of the website and because they only accept cash payments, BUT: The food was phenomenal. They serve truly traditional German fare, and my beef tongue was absolutely excellent. The sauce that came with it—I can't remember the last time I had such good one. I'd go back anytime!

The food was okay, but unfortunately, nothing more. You should be careful not to reorder anything... that costs an extra 1.50. The service staff is really courteous and friendly. The manager can't quite get it right.

A true experience! The restaurant has a nostalgic charm that's rare these days – loving details everywhere and so much to discover. You can tell right away that a lot of heart and soul have gone into this place. The food was simply delicious, everything fresh and full of flavor. The portions are generous, and the ambiance is unique. It's important to note: They only accept cash – so it's best to remember this beforehand! We'll definitely be back – you don't find something like this very often.

The quality of the food must be very good... We (the family) left after a quick look. The restaurant looks like a prime example of a "before" version of a "Save My Restaurant" documentary. Dark, dusty, cobwebs, and everywhere you look, there are signs saying "No debit or credit cards!" (I immediately saw four large signs). While my wife was searching for cash in the car, I stood for almost three minutes at the sign "Wait here until you are assigned a table." No waiter in sight... As I said, I can't comment on the food. But the atmosphere is, let's just say, special...

Just reserve a table, go in, relax, enjoy...let yourself be surprised.

The name may be confusing, here you can find pancakes (savoury and sweet) but also classics like grandma used to have (sour kidneys, wonderful fried potatoes and schnitzel). Viennese fried chicken, car devotionals, everyone will find something here. I thought it was great and if you dare to go in and then go up, you will really be rewarded. Very remote, very special, a journey into the soul and past of the host (and probably also the chef). The establishment is a journey through West German history; the food is cooked and seasoned with heart. All in all, it has a very warm quirkiness that I haven't found in a long time and I hope I'll be in the area again soon.

A place with lots of trinkets, interesting specimens as decorations, for some a reminder of years ago. Efficient, nice service. The food was as advertised - just like your mother's or grandmother's. Depends on the season, season, dish, dish.

After we "discovered" the restaurant on the 1st floor with lots of collector's items, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table. The food came very quickly and we all enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

Very special restaurant. The owner simply collects everything and shows everything. The focus may be on vehicles. We had dinner with 6 adults and were very satisfied. The two ladies who served us were great as always. The restaurant was fully occupied that Friday and the service had everything under control. The owner stands in the kitchen, appears every now and then and greets his guests. The daily menu was once again exceptionally good. We are already looking forward to the next time...

Today we were again, as always with great joy, in the Pfannkuchenstube, Hilden, crayfish at its best. A restaurant where you feel at home, looked after by a wonderful team and a special kind of host.

Very tasty, sometimes you forget when someone comes but everything goes quickly and well, bizarre atmosphere very interesting. And you only need to know cash only.

Great restaurant that is a bit hidden. The food is to die for. The furnishings and ambience offer a lot to look at and many opportunities to exchange ideas. Personally, I am quite picky when it comes to food and I would describe myself as a connoisseur... so I HAVE to express my opinion here and now about this hidden culinary gem. First of all, I have to say that - before my last visits - I hadn't been to the pancake shop for a long time. But what I found here after a long absence made my culinary heart kneel in fear. There really is FOOD here that you can say: This is what Grandma's used to taste like. Here a schnitzel is still a schnitzel and not a tasting morsel. Here a fried potato is still what you imagine it to be. I can only recommend a visit to this small, rustic temple of culinary delights to anyone who is in the area. Therefore, very clear, clear and heartfelt 5 stars (dear Michelin team... please include this in your restaurant guide!)

Small pancake house located between fields and riding stables. The atmosphere is special... A little rustic, a little old-fashioned, not uncomfortable. The outside area is actually completely covered with ivy and corrugated iron (?), so you don't really have a beer garden. The chairs and cushions are simple garden chairs and not particularly comfortable. Inside you are overwhelmed by impressions. There is something hanging around everywhere. There are also countless pictures and sayings hanging on the toilets on the first floor. The salads were OK. The pancakes were very tasty. The service is incredibly friendly and nice. Would I come back again? Maybe 😄

I have never eaten such a delicious pancake! The atmosphere is totally rustic and cozy and the service is incredibly warm. We were even allowed to try the grapes from the "roof" - but they didn't taste good :-D

Mhh, as a transit traveler, you don't tend to get a warm welcome for a beer. There's a lot of junk in the building, one might like it, but I don't. Non-alcoholic beer, a type, well, it's just a pub, but I definitely won't come back just for a beer. Food looked good and the menu is extensive, with lots of things I would like to try. Well, it's probably worth a second try.

We spotted the sign on the A3 and immediately decided we had to go there. The homepage promises a rustic atmosphere and good food. Oh well. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The host was easy-going, the food was unfortunately very unimaginative and definitely peppers and mushrooms from a jar. A pity. The aioli bread that was ordered was not served, but neither was it charged. The decoration is very antique and worth seeing. When entering the restaurant there was a very musty smell. The outdoor area had something of a lost place about it. The riding arena underneath the restaurant was funny and was reminiscent of the pancake house in Mülheim.

Our meal was excellent. Everything freshly prepared. Dessert was conjured up for us at the table. We discovered a lot of things from our youth in the rustic inventory. This is experience gastronomy. Will definitely come back.

Incredible. Worth seeing. I can't think of anything else right now. I didn't really feel comfortable. A special kind of “museum”, friendly service, really worth a trip. The food is also said to be very good, but...sorry...I don't really feel like having a main meal there, although I admit that I might be wrong here.

I actually really like the restaurant. The food is great, the atmosphere is special but the service is unfortunately bad. We spontaneously wanted to go out for something to eat and were turned away because we didn't reserve a table. When I asked if we could sit in the beer garden instead, he got mushy and aggressively asked three times if we had read the sign downstairs?! It would probably say that the beer garden is not open. Unfortunately I left such a negative impression that I no longer want to set foot in there. This aggressive attitude on the part of the owner was extremely inappropriate, especially in the presence of my child.

It's a really beautiful place. A bit remote, but therefore very quiet and idyllic. We immediately felt really comfortable here. Everything was very comfortable and well furnished. You can't stop watching. The food was also really tasty and the portions were really good. The prices are also absolutely reasonable. The chef is really great and a really very pleasant person. Also super entertaining. The service was also very friendly and nice. It was our first time here but we will definitely come again. It's our new favorite place. Everything perfect!

The pancake on its own is very tasty. The surface is not suitable for a restaurant. Not professionally thought out and prepared. The portion is okay. The furnishings are interesting and unusual. But unfortunately too musty and partly like a forgotten cellar.

I have often seen the advertisements on the A3, today I finally made it here and have to say: I/we will be back. The food (home-style cooking) is very tasty, the portions are not small, the prices are relatively cheap (<40€ for two dishes + drinks) and the service is friendly. The ambience is definitely exceptional and there is a lot to discover. A special highlight: if you want to eat “like Grandma’s” again, you can request the dish and it will be cooked especially for you. Clear recommendation!

The food is simply delicious and the service is very accommodating. I think you are transported to another time because of the works you have collected. Rustic/cool equipped and decorated beautifully retro... a lot to see - just great... the food is really amazing 😋 delicious... the boss is unique and has cool sayings the tongue / the service was very nice and super nice.... you can still see something nice in the adjoining riding arena - so a table by the window is an advantage 🤗👍..... we'll be happy to come back... the three of them walsumer..... Anyway... you should reserve a table 🤗😋😉👍👍👍👍
