Markt 8 Cuccina Italiana in Hilden

Unfriendly staff who just come across as annoyed, starter was good but the main course with the pasta was soaked in butter, so served in white wine sauce is different and at the end I even had diarrhea.. never again

Lasagna was burnt, rump steak was cooked well instead of medium. The main course only came with one side dish (sliced ​​potatoes or salad), and a second side dish was available for an additional charge. The Liver Veneziana was nothing like what it's supposed to be. The liver was cut into tiny pieces and seasoned inappropriately. No carbonated Coke Zero. We won't be back.

Great location! Good food! The restaurant has a cozy spot in the middle of town and invites you to linger. The food was okay, not spectacular, but perfectly fine. The goat cheese on bread and the carpaccio plate in particular looked lovely and tasted good. The pizza was also well-topped and fresh from the oven, with a delicious espresso to finish. The service was friendly and relaxed. It took a while for everything to arrive at the table, but it was still within reason. Overall, a nice place to sit outside, have something to eat, and enjoy the space. 👌

Four of us just ate here. Our children were supposed to have a half tuna/half Margherita pizza WITHOUT onions. They got one with onions, which wasn't a big deal at first—mistakes happen. We complained about it immediately, and 2 minutes later the waitress came back with the same pizza! The onions were simply scraped off the surface of the pizza, new cheese was sprinkled on top, and the pizza was briefly baked again (see photo). We were stunned. Of course, there were still quite a few onions on the pizza. I told the waitress this, too, and her response, with a shrug of the shoulders, was: "What can I do, honey? I'm not in the kitchen." I've never received such an unprofessional response to an obvious mistake by a restaurant, which apparently happens quite often and was nothing new to the waitress. My ordered salad with "chicken breast strips" was also unsatisfactory. What came out was a salad with small pieces of chicken in a kind of hunter's sauce with lots of vegetables and lots of oil. That belongs on pasta, not a salad. The chicken wasn't even visible at first, and there was no mention of any sauce or vegetables in the menu description. Conclusion: Completely unprofessional behavior on the part of the waitress, who, incidentally, addressed every guest as "honey." The kitchen was absolutely terrible. After the outrageous "reworking" of the pizza, half of which was topped with tuna, there was so much cheese on it that it was simply no longer enjoyable. We definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend eating here to anyone!

Delicious pizza, and we were able to sit outside in the market square. Highly recommended for summer, but be prepared to wait! It took a while for the pizza to arrive.

During our visit to the restaurant, we ordered pasta dishes and requested Parmesan cheese. A small glass bowl arrived, in which we discovered green mold in the cheese. We reported this to the waiter, who, looking at the bowl in disbelief, took it away without a word of apology. After a while, we received a new portion of Parmesan, which again contained small patches of green mold. Instead of throwing away the Parmesan bag, they continued serving us a bad dish, which disgusted us greatly. Because we didn't want to get upset, we didn't say anything the second time and left the cheese. We also noticed that the staff weren't very friendly; they didn't make you feel truly welcome as a guest. For the reasons stated above, we are barring ourselves from the premises.

The coffee was completely watered down, and despite a "complaint," attempts to improve it were unsuccessful. The service was very inattentive and not particularly friendly. Our order was taken without a word, and no response was received to "please" or "thank you." We will be getting our coffee at other locations on the Old Market in the future.

The pizza was really bad; any frozen pizza tastes better: sticky dough that clearly hadn't had any resting time, barely any cheese, and a few toppings that didn't seem fresh. The value for money isn't right at all.

Absolutely authentic, the chef serves himself, good quality, I don't know what there is to complain about.

Die Inneneinrichtung ist geschmackvoll, wenn auch das ganze Lokal relativ klein ist. Dafür ist es gemütlich. Das Highlight ist aber bei Sonne die Terrasse mit gemütlichen Stühlen und der Blick samt Laufpublikum über den gesamten Marktplatz. Bedienung ist zügig und freundlich. Alle bisherigen Speisen von der Größe in Ordnung und schmackhaft. Die Preise halten sich im üblichen Rahmen. Ich komme gerne für ein Essen und ein paar frischen Veltins zum Markt 8.

Wir waren Freitag Abend wieder mal in unserm Stammrestaurant Markt 8. Es ist einfach nett, familiär und freundlich dort, man fühlt sich wohl. Meine überbackenen Rigatoni mit Gemüse und Krabben waren der Hammer! 🤩

Zum dritten Mal auf einen Shopping Samstag in Hilden, zum dritten Mal in diesem Restaurant… hier ist es stets gut besucht, der Service ist sehr nett und das Essen ist sehr lecker, besonders die Pizza, jedes Mal wie ein Gemälde🥰 Beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder !

Tolle Geburtstagsfeier mit familie gehabt.. super Service und gut gegessen.. vor allem die frischen Steinpilze aus der Wochenkarte mit bandnudeln sowie die italienische Vorspeise.. gerne wieder..

Leider war der Besuch wieder unter aller Sau. Der Kellner war sehr unfreundlich und nicht bei der Sache. Hat vergessen unsere nachbestellten Getränke zu bringen und Essen war auch nicht toll. Wartezeit war auch lange bei 5 Tischen.

We have been happy to be guests there for years. The service that is consistently offered by everyone involved, starting with the warm and committed waiters, who see when who needs and wants something, through the background team at the tap system and kitchen and up to the patron, who keeps an overview and confidently controls the team and guides. Even under maximum load, the performance and results are good. I've enjoyed everything so far. RESPECT

The lasagne arrived cold and the spaghetti carbonara came with an almost tasteless cream sauce (there wasn't even any cheese on it). The winter garden now resembles a junk room and no one sets new things, let alone wipes a table. Even the salt and pepper mills feel greasy. The toilets are also scary...and right next to the kitchen 😕

Schon mehrfach nett mit Freunden hier gesessen und gegessen, Pizza ganz gut und Preise sind auch noch ok. Am letzten Samstag allerdings eine unschöne Erfahrung gemacht, wir werden dort NIE wieder essen gehen und wenn man so seine Kunden behandelt.., unglaublich. Ausser der verschiedenen Pizzen bestellten wir noch 4 Bier, eins davon, das Pils was gebracht wurde, war schal und ohne Kohlensäure und schmeckte abgestanden. Man sah es auch eindeutig! Ich hab auch mal bei meiner Freundin probiert, ging gar nicht! Zurück gegeben, da schon mit Diskussion das das nicht sein könnte, Neues bekommen und später auf der Rechnung wurde es gebonkt! Glas ja...war halb leer da ich auch probiert hatte, aber in Frage zu stellen wegen einem 3Euro Bier, ob der Kunde im Unrecht sei, ein NO GO! NO GO auch das wir nicht mehr hingehen werden, nach Geldrückgabe und unverschämter Diskussion! Selber lange in der Gastronomie und Hotellerie tätig gewesen, da weiß man eigentlich um den guten Ton und Umgang mit Gästen!

The first time on today's bright, sunny open Sunday at the market 8 - give 8t - let's just say - a lot to do - good weather - partly understandable Stress - as a result of this probably not so friendly waiters - forgot the order 3 times - sea bream with vegetables - Even the hamster wouldn't be full - completely over-salted - vegetables in oil sludge - for a price of €22.00 - no other side dish - not even 3 grains of rice - 2 pieces of fish the size of a 5 euro note - beer glass with detergent on the slobbery rim - well, decent ones Interior cleaning is sometimes great and included - and now after 4 hours, Lotte is quick - the public order office should actually go fishing in the kitchen...that borders on bodily harm - no, there is no other reason for it. Hilden is not a through-traffic village - people talk there and people know each other - they should offer better food there.......and the ambience is not the Unterbacher See or the Zugspitze - understanding prices in the restaurant, yes - that's where it is Fish burgers from a large restaurant chain are certainly better... We dined there on Monday lunchtime with 5 people. Everyone was thrilled because of the extensive selection of dishes, reasonable prices and the extremely friendly and prompt service. We can only recommend!!!

Die Tortelloni mit Hähnchen und frischen Pilzen in Sahnesauce waren hervorragend und auch sehr heiß 👍 Die Pizza mit Ruccola, Parmaschinken und Parmesan war sehr trocken, lauwarm und der Parmaschinken viel zu dick geschnitten. Der Service war sehr zurückhaltend, evtl weil der ganze Außenbereich besetzt war.

Ich war hier auf geschäftlicher Durchreise. Alle Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und schnell. Die Atmosphäre und das Essen war gut. Die Auswahl ist sehr groß, man kann durchaus eine Empfehlung aussprechen

An sich ein nettes Restaurant aber wenn man von den Mitarbeitern mit Zigarettenrauch zugenebelt wird, schmeckt das Essen dadurch nicht besser. Absolut nicht nachvollziehbar, wie man so rücksichtslos sein kann.

Schnelle Bedienung, freundlicher Service, sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Pizza ist aufgrund des dünnen, knusprigen Teigs mein Favorit. Aber auch die vielen verschiedenen Nudelgericht sind nicht zu verachten.

Ich kann dieses Italienische Restaurant sehr empfehlen. Das Essen war super, wir waren mit 10 Personen dort und hatten Pizza und Nudeln, wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Was nur etwas schade war, die Softgetränke hatten sehr wenig Kohlensäure. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen .

Heute bei schönem Wetter in der Außengastronomie eine Pizza mit Salat genossen. Alles wie immer, sehr netter Service und leckeres Essen, was will mann mehr? Am Freitag mal wieder Bock auf Pizza gehabt. Pizza Markt 8 mit Rumsteakstreifen und Champignons pikant gewüzt, sehr lecker. Waren heute (4.7.19)mal wieder hier. Das Essen ist lecker und der Service freundlich und kompetent ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir hatten Pizza mit Salami und Pizza Signore mit Kochschinken Thunfisch und Zwiebeln, als Vorspeise Ziegenkäse mit Honig überbacken und Salat. Alles sehr lecker und die Preise sind in Ordnung. Das Lokal ist klein, aber sobald die Außentische wider möglich sind, werden spontane Besuche auch einfacher. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich persönlich kann manche Rezensionen hier nicht nachvollziehen, da wir eine sehr positive Erfahrung mit diesem kleinen italienischen Restaurant gemacht haben. Spontan haben wir direkt einen Tisch für zwei bekommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und warten musste man auch nicht lange. Die Pizza aus dem Steinofen sowie vom “menu del giorno” die schwarzen Torteloni mit Lachsfüllung, Shrimps und Rose Soße waren ausgezeichnet! Das Lokal versprüht mit seiner Einrichtung generell etwas sehr gemütliches und authentisches. Kleine Anekdote: neben uns hat ein älteres Ehepaar Platz genommen, dass immer wieder herkommt. Sie haben die Karte bereits kreuz und quer durchprobiert und ihre Getränkebestellungen sind auch schon beim aufmerksamen Personal bekannt ☺️ Das Bezahlen lief problemlos und zum Schluss gab es für uns einen gratis Espresso! Wir kommen gerne wieder

Top Pizza - relativ einfach aber sehr lecker - nette Bedienung

Quite unusual Pizza, but good one.

Für einen Stopp z.B. während eines Einkaufsbummels oder einen Treffpunkt mit Freunden auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns mit 4 Personen für eine große Antipasti Platte und Rotwein entschieden und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Der Wirt ist sehr freundlich und wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben. Im Sommer sitzt man auf dem alten Marktplatz und kann die Sonnenstunden genießen.

Tolles, kleines Restaurant. Italienisch mit franz. Chansons im Hintergrund. Super nette Bedienung. Essen war sehr lecker und kam schnell. Nachtisch. Hmmmm. Gerne öfter.

Das Essen ist köstlich. Die Bedienung fand ich nicht so freundlich, aber in Ordnung. Die Tische sind zu nah einander.
