Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the portions were a bit small.

Unfortunately, I'm not from this area and have only been able to eat here once. The food is superbly prepared. And I've rarely experienced such friendly service.

Excellent Italian restaurant in Hilden! I'll definitely return on my next trip to Germany, not to mention the kindness and professionalism of the owner, Domenico.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room, with simple decor, was spacious and equipped with a kettle and minibar. The location halfway between Düsseldorf and Cologne is convenient for exploring the surrounding area. There are a few parking spaces adjacent to the hotel, and street parking is free. Be careful, however, of the very steep stairs leading to the rooms; they're not easy to carry suitcases up and not suitable for people with mobility difficulties. Good value for money. We didn't have time to try the restaurant, which looked very good.

The best Italian restaurant in Hilden, Düsseldorf and probably Germany. Fresh ingredients, great tastes and very friendly staff for a reasonable price. The rooms are cosy, well decorated, not luxurious but clean and beautiful. And value for money. A great place in the heart of Hilden Sud. On top of that, lovely people who pay attention to detail and will go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and happy.

I went there with a friend for dinner, had a starter plate and a vegetarian pizza. It was delicious. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Four of us were guests at the restaurant for dinner for a small birthday party. There are about 4-5 parking spaces at the restaurant/hotel, and several parking spaces across the intersection at an abandoned kiosk. The direct street location makes for a bit of a noisy atmosphere, but we sat inside, where we didn't hear any street noise – which also made it very warm, as the windows were closed. There were numerous tables outside, and a hedge provided privacy from the street – very nice. The service and all the other staff were excellent, super attentive, and they even checked in from the kitchen every now and then to see if everyone was enjoying their meal ;-) We had a variety of starters and dishes, including fish carpaccio and beef carpaccio, as well as pizza and various pasta dishes. All delicious, although our favorite Italian restaurant does truffle dishes or seafood pasta even better, but it costs 30% more. So you have to be fair here; the price/performance ratio is absolutely right, especially the large portions, which you can't complain about. Homemade tiramisu, delicious grappa, leaves only one conclusion: We'll definitely be back and thank you for the lovely evening!

If you are Italian, you must go there, real Italian food. If you are from the South of Italy, you will love tipical Calabrian. cuisine. We spent five nights at this hotel. The staff at the hotel and in the cozy restaurant downstairs were fantastic. The food was delicious, and the owner, Domenico, was friendly and very nice. We will definitely be back!

My work colleague was there. The room was simply billed twice, even though only one colleague was there. The overnight stay was in December 2024, and to this day, despite multiple calls and emails, we have not received a refund. Clear fraud/rip-off!

I've been a regular for years. The quality of the food has continuously improved. Da Domenico is a restaurant for “everyone” who values ​​good food. Pizza 10 out of 10 - Pasta 10 out of 10 - Meat (my favorite dish: beef fillet with gorgonzola crust) 11 out of 10 ... ;-) The staff is very attentive and friendly. Price-performance ratio is TOP

On March 8, 2025, six of us were at Da Domenico again. As always, the service was friendly, fast, and attentive. All the dishes were delicious. Good value for money. Unfortunately the service wasn't good. The waitress only came to the table when called. We weren't asked if we needed anything else, as we know from other restaurants. Waiting time for orders was also too long. The food didn't really convince me either.

I'm just reporting about the restaurant where I was able to spend the evening before New Year's today. Instead of a menu as discussed when making the reservation, you could order ala carte. This meant that the visit to the restaurant was shorter and the kitchen performance was very, very good. The service did its best. I will definitely come back here more often after this visit.

We ate here on New Year's Eve. There was no menu but a New Year's Eve menu. The food was very good! I have rarely eaten something so delicious. The tables were very nicely set. We were greeted warmly and served very friendly service throughout the evening. It was a lovely evening and we will definitely be back.

As a true Italian to be precise Sicilian, I found myself in Hilden. For work I booked with Mr. Domenico, a very serious and friendly person; a very welcoming, very clean room, in the evening I had dinner in its fantastic restaurant, everything perfect, excellent quality food, staff attentive to the smallest details, excellent service in particular from Giuliano the head waiter. We didn't stay at the hotel, so no review, but had dinner in the restaurant. The food was ok, but the service was totally inattentive and bad. We wanted to order more drinks, but no one was at our table. We would have had to run after the waiter, but that was too stupid for us. We waited over 1.5 hours for the food. It's a shame because the atmosphere is very nice.

Wunderschönes Hotel, Zimmer 6 ist sehr zu empfehlen mit whirlpool perfekt zum entspannen. Toller Service, gutes Essen. Die Menschen waren sehr nett und perfekte gastgeber!

Zwischenstopp in Hilden. Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, sauberes Zimmer, leider kein Frühstück. Zimmer ist klein, aber okay. Für einen Zwischenstopp und eine Nacht absolut In Ordnung.

Cozy place with outdoor tables. The staff speaks Italian well and was very courteous. Meat cooked to perfection.

The pizzas were so-so. The topping can be more exclusive in the menu... In my opinion, the price-performance ratio doesn't fit here. The terrace is nice and cozy. The staff could be a bit friendlier. The limoncello on the house was delicious.

The three of us were there yesterday. The service has decreased since the nice, tall waiter, whose name I unfortunately didn't remember, is no longer there. Without being intrusive, he kept asking if everything was okay. It's a shame, I loved going there the most. When I was there with friends last year it was similar. The main course comes far too quickly after the starter. And we would have liked to order something to drink but somehow we were ignored. Still the best cuisine.

Food okay so far. The bruschetta was relatively tasteless but too hard and dry. The 'greeting from the kitchen' with a basket of ice-cold pizza roll fluffies! When I asked the waiter about it, “it would just be a service” so I guess I shouldn’t complain?!? Well, I asked for a review several times (“everything was great, it tasted good, ...?”) The main courses were tasty, although I found the duck breast on the salad too cold. Unfortunately service was rather bad. A cutlery for several courses and then the waiter takes it from the empty plate and puts it back to the guest 😲 The request for parmesan with the pasta was politely answered in the affirmative "subito" but was not offered. Prices are moderate if you don't count the tap water in the chic carafe for just under 7 euros.

The toppings on the pizzas were very manageable. The price was too high for that. Sat outside on the patio. Cozy. Maybe we'll have better luck with the food next time. The limoncello on the house was delicious.

I myself grew up as the son of a very talented Italian chef in our two restaurants and can only say that I searched for a long time until I found someone who put this talent into practice with passion and freshly prepared dishes. This is not a given and you are happy to wait for this quality. In addition to the great Calabrian cuisine, the restaurant is run as a family business, which gives me a feeling of "at home" :-) I often go to Hilden on business and was lucky enough to discover the Hotel & Restaurant “Da Domenico”. The stylishly furnished hotel rooms are, above all, clean and comfortable. I am now a regular guest and can say that I have never been disappointed by the culinary delicacies. *****highly recommended*****

Unfortunately I was very dissatisfied and had to cut short my evening there. I had asked the waiter several times to turn off this extremely high-frequency noise, which was noticeable all the time and extremely unpleasant. I was assured twice that it would be taken care of but nothing happened. The pizza menu also had to be specifically requested, which gave the impression that they only wanted to sell us the other dishes. So I pulled the emergency brake and we were very happy elsewhere.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, absolut aufmerksamer guter Service und ein Gaumenschmaus an guten Essen.

Bester Italiener, weit und breit. Sehr leckere Gerichte. Ich habe schon alles mögliche probiert und es hat mich noch nie etwas enttäuscht. Absolute Empfehlung. Traumhafte Pizzabrötchen, Salate, Fischgerichte, alles liebevoll hergerichtet. Ich bin immer wieder begeistert.

Also das Restaurant ist preislich sehr schick nur das Essen leider nicht so. Lasagne bestand zu 85% nur aus Teig.😓 Die Trüffel Spaghetti nahezu ungenießbar. Das Bier abgestanden. Schade.

Waren dort Pizza 🍕 und fand alles sehr lecker, 😋 ich würde immer wieder dort Essen und die Küche weiter ausprobieren. Der einzigste Kritikpunkt ist, es hat einig gedauert, aber es war auch bis auf den letzten Platz alles belegt. Nettes Ambiente, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir kommen wieder 😊

Gutes Restaurant an zentralen und sehr traditionellen Standort in Hilden. Der Service war vorbildlich. Das Essen angenehm umfangreich. Heute kostet ka schnell alles das Dreifache und man bekommt nur noch die Hälfte. Die Teller sind nicht primitiv überladen, die Portionen sind ordentlich angemessen. Die Gerichte klassisch und handwerklich super. Die Preise absolut angemessen. Die Atmosphäre driftet ein wenig in Richtung Kitsch ab, bleibt aber schick und angenehm. Wir kommen ganz sicher und sehr gerne wieder!

War durch Zufall in Hildem bei Da Domenico. Ein schöner Aussenbereich zum Wohlfühlen. Der Service ist hervorragend. Freundlich und professionell. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist gut und die Qualität hervorragend. Jeder sollte das mal versuchen. Die Antipastiplatte nur zu empfehlen. Fisch und Pasta ein Genuss.

Sehr gute gehobene italienische Küche. Liegt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße, aber durch die Begrünung trotzdem schöne Terrasse. Netter Service, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fast schon etwas zu modern eingerichtetes italienisches Restaurant. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist gut und auch nicht überteuert. Die Pizza und der Salat waren sehr lecker.

Any sort of spagetti are recomendable. Parking oportunity nearby are not so well.

Ungewöhnlicher aber freundlicher Empfang es schien wohl wenig los zu sein! Habe nur eine Nacht im Hotel Zimmer verbracht. Restaurant war leider geschlossen. Zimmer völlig in Ordnung, Matratze angenehm alles Sauber und ordentlich. Badezimmer top! Der „Aufstieg“ zu den Zimmern ist relativ Steil für Gehbehinderungen definitiv nicht geeignet!

Kein guter Service wir haben den ganzen Abend zu lange warten müssen bis jemand die Getränkebestellungen aufgenommen hat . Man hatte das Gefühl das die Bedienung völlig überfordert war. Essen war einigermaßen. Leider nur lau warm.

Ich hatte mit meiner Firma hier unser Weihnachtsessen gebucht. Es war ein absolut schöner und gelungener Abend. Die Speisen wären vorzüglich, die Weinauswahl phantastisch und der Service hervorragend. Und das obwohl das Lokal bis auf den letzten Stuhl ausgebucht war. Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut weiter empfehlen. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal hier. Mile Grazie!!! LG Enrico

Wir waren hier mit meiner betagten Mutter anlässlich des Muttertages! Die Begrüßung vermittelte schon so ein Gefühl von „Gäste sind eher löstig“. Das Essen liess seeehr lange auf sich warten, war versalzen, die Pilze kaum angebraten, alles lieblos auf die Teller geworfen! Keine Chance sich zu beschweren, denn der sichtlich genervte Kellner, machte kaum Halt an unserem Tisch! Und hatte viel mit den anderen sich beschwerenden gästen zu tun… Dann mussten wir erleben, wie der Küchenchef an einem Tisch mit drei Senioren dermaßen laut wurde, auf den Tisch schlug, durch den Laden brüllte, die Deutschen würden immer nur auf die Uhr gucken, und sein Essen nicht wertschätzen! Im eigenen Laden die Gäste vor allen anderen Gästen sooo eskalierend nieder zu machen- peinlich und da möchten wir nicht mehr hin!
