I am very sad, a traditional Greek restaurant in Darmstadt "Dimitri" has closed its door forever. Tolli, the owner, has accompanied me personally throughout my life. The food from the lovely chef Costa has been of the same quality over the years. I'm sure I'm speaking from the hearts of many regular guests when I say "we'll be missing something". I wish Tolli and Costa good health, which was missing, and a well-deserved retirement. It is very difficult for both of them to close these doors. It was their life. All the best for you.
The decorations on the tables and throughout the restaurant are decent and stylish. The bathroom is always clean and overall the place gives a good impression. The waitresses are always incredibly friendly and very obliging. This makes me and my husband absolutely happy every time we visit. The restaurant actually has the potential to become my new favorite restaurant. What I can really support are the desserts. My siblings and I have been there for the fifth time and have tried something new on each visit.
I waited 10 minutes, alone, until I was asked if I'd ordered, which I of course denied. My order (chicken skewer) was burnt and raw inside... €18.50 was thrown away. Lahmacun (without doner meat): €8.50 for a second customer.
No wonder managers like this drive up inflation...
I don't recommend it overall.
We can recommend the restaurant wholeheartedly. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long for it. The portions are also plentiful. Hospitality is very important here. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!!
Came in at lunchtime and asked where I could sit. I was immediately rudely told that I could sit down somewhere, which I did. After 20 minutes there was still no waiter, so I checked the reviews and saw that I wasn't the first person who wasn't very happy there. Since the food isn't supposed to be good, which I can't judge, I went out and ate a good salad across the street.
The last few times the app and vouchers were not accepted because there was no scanner. Sub of the day doesn't exist for me. Prices are outrageously exorbitant. After many visits over the years, that was it for me, never Subway again.
I had a pommdöner to eat there. At first I wanted veal but he brought me chicken. Okay, okay… whatever.
The fries were the very last ones, they were really flabby to the max and the cheapest of the cheapest. The meat was so bad and I really didn't feel like eating it after 4-5 forks. But now comes the best of all, hold on tight. I order to eat here and he brings it to me in a Pomdöner box with a plastic fork. That was really without a joke TOP 3 of my worst experiences with a kebab shop in my entire life and I've been Loka in over 50 shops. How this store can have more than 2 stars is absolutely questionable. And then they charge another €8 for it.
I'm incredibly honest.
If there were extra stars to be given for the service, there would be an extra star!!!
We were there with a total of 10 people, including two wheelchair users and two people with disabilities.
The service was very friendly, helpful, competent and above all patient, which is very rare.
We felt very welcome as a group and not a disruptive factor. The atmosphere was great!
Thanks again!
The pizza and everything else was super tasty.
A very nasty shop with unfriendly employees and a boss.
There was no butter with the bread and it cost extra. Who wants to eat dry bread?
Prices are also too expensive for what they present to you.
A presumably German man with long, closed hair took my food away before I had obviously finished eating. Then he tried to take away my business partner's drink before she was finished. She said she wanted to finish it first. Then he cheekily said: “They probably want to eat the lemon too.” How can you be so cheeky to customers? The store was also sparsely staffed. Even if it had been full, people wouldn't be treated so antisocially.
The boss and the southern employee stood behind us and said something and looked at us. Something like that is not appropriate.
The southerner obviously couldn't speak French and was no longer “nice” when he didn't get a tip. Why should we if they don't behave?
The seat cushions outside were all dirty.
Unfortunately, 0 points are not possible.
