The worst Steak Dürüm I've ever eaten. I'm going to sue this company. I was constantly vomiting after eating it. Not recommended; the health department needs to get involved.

Since the younger one with glasses has been working in the bakery, all the boxes have gone wrong. Opened them at home and half were missing

Our order was not taken for a long time, when we tried to pay the bill they did not accept our card, which was used in every other business, and they were rude because we did not leave a tip. I do not recommend.

We were at your restaurant on Friday with 10 people. My son ordered a pizza that unfortunately had a hair in it. He removed the hair because he became sick and could no longer eat. When the waitress came to clear away, I mentioned the incident. However, the reaction was disappointing: all that came were questions like "Where is the hair?" or “Was that there right at the beginning?”. To be honest - there were ten of us there and we definitely didn't plan on having discussions about the bill over a single pizza. We would have expected a restaurant like Nazar to be at least somewhat accommodating - e.g. B. takes the pizza off the bill - instead of asking such inappropriate questions. Unfortunately for us this was the last time with you.

Unfriendly and the food doesn't taste good, I wouldn't recommend it, it's just good because nothing else is open that late

The waiter was very rude to us because we paid with card and didn't leave a tip. The prices are too high and there are better Turkish restaurants elsewhere.

I ordered a kebab plate and they forgot to bring it to me and when I asked twice they brought it to me without sauce and without cutlery. They charged me for a natural orange juice even though I ordered a multivitamin juice. When I complained the waiter was rude and the idiot reacted angrily. Never again

Unfortunately, I ordered two kebab plates to take away from Nazar in Darmstadt. Not lying, it was the worst kebab plate of my life. The meat was very dry and inedible, the salad was stale and the rice was watery and soggy. To be fair, this shouldn't have been sold to the guests anymore. A plate of kebab cost me €15. The portion was large and I also got bread, but I still really regret my 30€. I'm very sad that I wanted to treat myself to something delicious and spent the money on it and in the end we threw them in the bin. If I had eaten them on site, I would have complained and not paid. I will try to complain about this. Nazar would be very customer-friendly about responding to this recession and perhaps an accommodation can be found. But what was positive was that the employees were very nice and in general the service was very friendly and I was served quickly. You can pay by card from €15 and there are enough parking spaces in the yard.

The store won't last much longer. I ordered number 171, in the middle a portion of rice as small as an ice cream ball, price of the dish 22€. We also ordered Tavuk Sis and specifically mentioned that the chicken should be well cooked, but again that wasn't the case. When it came to the kebab plate, the fries came in a lukewarm state. So all in all a failure for a total price of more than €60. Definitely not recommended, there are better alternatives.

The service on site by the two “older” waiters was really miserable! The younger ones, on the other hand, were very attentive and friendly. The food was a disaster. Very bad taste. Meat from the grill not completely cooked through. You could count the side dishes (fries/rice). Both the number of fries and the grains of rice. Ambience on the terrace was fine. All in all NEVER AGAIN!!

I ordered a cake. I was supposed to pick up at 10am. The employee called that the cake wasn't prepared yet and should be ready at 2 p.m. I was there at 2 p.m. it wasn't prepared yet so I still had to wait. I don't know what they did. Until we drove home. The cake has melted. It's not summer now either. That's what they say. The weather is to blame. I am really very disappointed. I couldn't do anything but cry. I had visitors at home and didn't have time, otherwise I would have taken it back to the store.

No matter what time you go out to eat here, it's always delicious. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, everything is freshly prepared. At the end you get a delicious tea. We come here regularly when we are traveling in Darmstadt.

I can only recommend a very nice restaurant. Service very friendly. The food is great and you can sit outside when the weather is good. We'll be back

Waited 10 minutes, I was alone, until I was asked if I had ordered, which of course I said no. The order (chicken skewer) was burnt and raw inside... €18.50 thrown away. Lahmacun (without kebab meat): €8.50 for a second guest. No wonder such CEOs drive up inflation... I don't recommend overall.

Behavior that is not befitting of a very famous business that is known by everyone. We ordered the package and we were not even allowed to sit outside. We ordered the lamb shish kebab. There were 4 pieces of meat in it. The rest was an extremely dense stew the size of a walnut. And they asked for 25 Euros for the lamb shish wrap, 5 Euros for the beverage, and 5 Euros for the covered ayran, so I gave up buying it. And the employees are so disrespectful...

Some time ago I had a less good experience and was critical of it. Now I would like to share my current, much more positive experience: On my last visit I was there to break my fast and was completely satisfied. The food was very tasty, the service was attentive and friendly, and the portion sizes were absolutely fine. I found the quiet atmosphere and the opportunity to pray in the back area particularly pleasant - that shows a lot of consideration and hospitality. Another highlight is the dessert, which you can order directly on site. It is delivered fresh from the neighboring bakery and was also delicious. Thank you very much for a successful evening – I would love to come back!

I don't understand why this restaurant is so extremely successful and popular. Both the pizza and the kebab were the worst I've ever eaten. The pizza was soggy and the bottom was completely burnt black. The vegetarian kebab had hardly any cheese, the yoghurt sauce felt like it only consisted of yoghurt and the bread wasn't crispy - I also found something like lamb's lettuce in the kebab: it doesn't fit at all. By the way, the waiters are very stressed and it shows over and over again. Presumably it’s the boss’s fault? I don't know. We were indirectly signaled twice that we had to get up and leave immediately after eating. We felt under pressure, but we just wanted to have a chat after dinner... I think the opening hours alone are good, but they're only so great because the store has a lot of customers - for whatever reason. Very small, lesser known restaurants and stalls in Darmstadt make much better food! And although that's not enough, Nazar also charges more money for her food! The most expensive kebab in Darmstadt, even though it is the worst... Find the mistake.

For years, I used to eat from here when I came to Darmstadt. Today, it was just an hour after iftar, so I decided to break my fast. As soon as the bearded old waiter entered, I realized that he got up from the opposite side, without even saying welcome, and said, "No, I will eat here." The mixed starter plate is top. But when it comes to the main courses, the restaurant disappoints with the lack of quality of the meat and the competence of the staff. Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. We were a group of 20 people and we were told that no grilled dishes could be served - without any understandable reason. In addition, three more people came later and, after repeated requests, were only able to place their orders very late. Their food was then only served 15 minutes after the rest of the group, which significantly affected their visit to the restaurant together. Overall the service left a lot to be desired. Although the restaurant was not full (about 15 guests in total), the empty plates were not cleared for over half an hour. The drinks were also served incorrectly. The waiter seemed disinterested and not very service-oriented. Additionally, a takeaway order had to be placed directly at the checkout, which was inconvenient. Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes did not meet expectations. We used to enjoy visiting this restaurant, but a lot has changed now. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend it.

Turkish restaurant, not a snack bar. Grill with charcoal. Nice atmosphere, unfortunately quite loud when there are a lot of people there. Ventilation overwhelmed - clothes smell slightly. Food and service great. Parking is difficult to get because it is very busy, even in the other Nazar stores.

Great experience though, have a nice restaurant atmosphere to sit with family. Service is fast & nice. However the food is also good but the hype is more, even chances you can find better taste at normal türkisch imbiss as well.

So I've always been happy to come back, but yesterday was a total disaster... I ordered half a chicken with rice, which came, but even a dog wouldn't have eaten the meat thanks to Nazar. I wouldn't eat in the restaurant again or take anything from the bakery! Keep your hands off! The food is overpriced, a bit rubbish and just tasted dry. I bought a lotus cake for my birthday... disgusting cream, too sweet and impossible to eat. But visually it looked nice. We also took cookies with us... you couldn't even bite them off... CONCRETE!!!! If I had the chance, I would have closed both stores due to overpricing and poor taste!

I like the Nazar a lot! Whenever I visit DA I always have to make a detour there! The bakery with the wood stone oven is absolutely great, the best baklava and so many other sweet and savory Turkish delicacies. Nice service. Likewise in the restaurant, nice atmosphere and very nice staff. This morning we only went in for a cappuccino, but we'd love to eat again on our next visit :-)

It's been a while since I first gave stars, but now I have to write something about it. The food here is still great. But that's the only reason why I visit the Nazar Bakery. Because the fact that the ladies who serve you there are still unfriendly has not changed. It's not like they're calling you names or anything like that. But there's no hello or goodbye. Just the next request. Not a smile or a few kind words. You always have the feeling of not being welcome. Everyone has a day when they don't feel well, but that's obviously the rule there. Which is somehow surprising, since the restaurant next door, which also belongs to this group, is exactly the opposite.

Hello everyone So the waiter was very unfriendly, first brought the wrong kebab to the table after two had ordered. The second one came afterwards and there were lumps of fat in it, disgusting, well when the drinks came it was 0.5 Ayran and it wasn't even cold. You first have to ask the customers what size the ayran was. It wasn't that tasty either. On the contrary, it had a bit of a sour aftertaste. So I won't go there a second time. I don't understand some people's gripes in the reviews. No matter whether it's a restaurant or a bakery, I've NEVER been disappointed here. I've been going to the Nazar for over 10 years because I know exactly what I want and what the Nazar stands for... and at any time because it's always open (even on public holidays!). In the restaurant I often eat the daily special or dishes with skewers from the charcoal grill, everything is always delicious and very plentiful. Afterwards I always go to the bakery, the price I get there compared to other shops is unbeatable, regardless of whether it's börek or baklava... and I get everything I need and don't have to look for it in dozens of other shops. For me, the Nazar is something like a basic provider without which I would be lost.

Absolute recommendation from my point of view. Nazar accompanied me through my entire studies for 6 years, through all the ups and downs. Every time I visited, I found the restaurant to be very good and professional. Yes, you pay €2 more than for another kebab, but the meat in particular is of significantly higher quality because it is produced in-house. Likewise the flatbread and the garlic sauce. An absolute recommendation. And the kebab plate with the ingredients mentioned is also a generous portion. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Of course, you should also behave accordingly as a guest. All in all a 10/10. And it also creates a positive, familiar feeling when you come in and with "As always?" is served.

I just bought and ate a Lahmacun Et Döner for €10.50...this prompted me to take a look at the reviews...and lo and behold, others felt the same way...too little meat and too much a lot of greens.....that's why the taste is only moderate....only tastes like salad..... That was nothing for me. ...

My boyfriend and I had lunch there and in the evening he got ALL the signs of food poisoning (the chef was known to him) and the assumption is that it was intentional

Basically everything is great, but unfortunately the most important thing about the kebab is only enough below, the meat. Unfortunately, the food contains pieces of fat and is often mixed, which spoils the overall picture. It's a shame, as this is my only, albeit most important, point of criticism. The kebab was okay but had too much meat. The meat was gristly and had way too much oil. The oil ran down my hands while I was eating like anything else and I had to wash my hands for 5 minutes. The shop looks very cool from the inside, even with different items, but you have to wait 15 minutes for a single kebab. During my lunch break I don't want to spend 15 minutes of my time standing around somewhere waiting, feeling useless and getting in the way of the waiters. So there are significantly better kebabs for less money. I paid €8.50 for it. The only thing the store can do is look good. High-quality plastic bags, chic furnishings and in the bakery next door, which also belongs to Nazar, the cakes look incredibly good. But when I think about the kebab and read the other reviews here, I can imagine what they taste like. Not good

When ordering, we pointed out that a kebab should be extra spicy. The result? “Extra hot” was just as hot as “normal hot” – not at all. Is it really that difficult to make a good kebab? Apparently a challenge for this shop that it cannot overcome. The kebab bread was burnt and cut so wide that the entire contents fell out while eating - a real mess. The meat was also an imposition: of poor quality, full of gristle and with an unpleasantly high fatty taste. A disaster in terms of taste! A diet kebab is certainly not the goal, but that was simply inedible. The absolute highlight, however, is the price. A plate of kebab here costs a whopping 15 euros. That's not just expensive, it's usury! Unfortunately, the quality does not justify this price in any way. The service also left a lot to be desired. There was no friendliness and the cleanliness of the store was also questionable. Looking at the other reviews I could have avoided this visit. Particularly strange: It is pointed out that you receive high-quality plastic bags - I can confirm that. Unfortunately, I would have preferred a simple plastic bag if the food was better. In summary: Poor quality, high prices, unfriendly staff and lack of cleanliness. I cannot recommend this store nor will I ever visit it again. Price performance has decreased significantly. This is where you notice that profit maximization is coming into play. Portions have become smaller, but prices are higher. When the place is full, the portions are just added together quickly. Adana plate for €21 with hardly any salad or sauce. Not nearly full. Kitchens have to make sure that they consistently make equal portions. Especially for this price!!!

First of all: The staff is unfriendly, always seems to be in a bad mood and makes you feel as a customer that you are actually not welcome here. Let's get to the food: The kebab wasn't even lukewarm, the bread was a tough, tasteless rubber mass that was barely edible. The meat was full of gristle and had a disgusting consistency - an absolute disgrace! The description “terrorist attack on the palate” is really perfect here. The Lahmacun was also in no way convincing in terms of taste, and the prices are completely exorbitant for this subterranean quality. But the killer was the Pizza Margherita - eleven euros for something that only consists of cheese and tomato sauce! In the past you would have gotten two pizzas for that. This rip-off is hard to beat in terms of audacity, at least not in Darmstadt. A small ray of hope: The food was packed in a high-quality plastic bag that probably has a load capacity of 20 kilograms. Unfortunately that was the only positive thing. If the quality of the food was anywhere near as good as the plastic bag, you could be at least halfway satisfied. Finally: A Google rating of 3.8 is seriously bad for a kebab shop - and after my visit, that doesn't surprise me in the least. Nazar should urgently work on friendliness, cleanliness and quality, because this “restaurant” is definitely not recommended.
