Nazar Restaurant in Darmstadt

Unfortunately I have to say specifically, I ordered chicken dürüm for the table. After more than 30 minutes it wasn't on the table, it was said it would be coming soon..... then it was over, I wanted to take it with me. In the car I wanted to have a bite then I saw all the pieces of meat burnt like coal. Then I complained to the restaurant, but not a single person helped or apologized. This is absolutely no service.

Prices are high and food has become less 🙄🙄

My wife and I were hungry and wanted to eat something together. Unfortunately, it wasn't planned that way. It was full. The waiters told us it wasn't a problem and we could wait. We also waited and stood in line. The problem was that some people just pushed forward and lined up and yeah, we didn't like that at all. I mentioned the problem to waiter and he coldly ignored me. You will never get any money from me again!!! System 0

During a shared meal with work colleagues, three Ayran dishes were consumed, two of which were rated as excellent, but one of which was rated as insufficiently warm. The waiter in charge was uncooperative and refused to exchange the insufficiently warm ayran. His answer was marked by unkindness.

Women's toilets looked like crap on October 21st (around 10pm)! The store wasn't full, employees were just chattering around and no one checked the toilets. We asked an employee about it and his response was: “Is it really that bad, yes?” “ Toilet was dirty, no toilet paper and both toilets were clogged with towel paper! Offering Dubai chocolate for €18.50 and not putting in any tahini or pistachio cream is a shame 🤮 don't buy it, it tastes so bad and the consistency is strange.. very crumbly. Looks like hazelnuts that have been dyed. Completely different from all the others that are available to buy!

I had chosen a minced meat kebab with rice to take away from the pictures above the counter. The waiting time was reasonable. When the employee said 20 euros, I first thought he was joking. That wasn't the case! With the first bite of the minced meat I had 2 pieces of cartilage in my mouth. I immediately forgot about it. Bad rip-off! Never again!!!!!

You can only pay in CASH at the bakery. At the restaurant you can pay with a card, but that's not possible here. I find that disastrous!

We liked the look of the store, but we weren't greeted when we walked in. The staff should think about what they're doing. No real German!! What was ordered didn't arrive instead of Döner Dürüm. He also brought us bread and sauces and at the end told us that we had to pay the extra charge. It was a shame that one person had ruined the whole visit. LG

I ordered a grill plate and the mezze starter at the Nazar restaurant, both of which were incredibly tasty. The waiter Yamen served us excellently and was very attentive and friendly. Overall, a great experience – we would love to come back!

I used to visit Nazar quite often in the past. But over the years I have realised that the quality of their food has suffered. The ambience and service is top and their staff is quite nice and welcoming.

We recently dined at Nazar Restaurant with four adults and a toddler and had a wonderful experience. Our waiter Yamen made our evening very pleasant and was extremely attentive and friendly from start to finish. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting, and the food selection was good. The dishes were freshly prepared, very tasty and came in generous portions. Overall, it was a thoroughly successful evening with excellent service and delicious food. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend the Nazar!

Employees are great and fulfill every wish. There is nothing to complain about about the staff. But unfortunately for the umpteenth time I had to watch as my Dürüm was simply warmed up and put into a sandwich maker. Unfortunately, the people who made this decision have probably never eaten a dürüm this way themselves. Even though I ate the Dürüm straight away, it was ice cold and the dough was just like rubber, you could chew on it for minutes without any problems and the bite was still in your mouth. Every run-of-the-mill kebab in Germany gets it by rolling out the dough and then throwing it briefly into the oven. And then at the end to ask for 23 € for 2 Düren that make your stomach ache when you eat it is sad. If you want quality, you should avoid a kebab at night at Nazar and get a delicious, freshly made one the next day in your kebab shop around the corner because, sorry, but everything tastes better than the normal kebab or dürüm you get there.

So operation was like this. The pizza wasn't cooked properly, there was way too much cheese and overall the topping was just too heavy, so you couldn't eat it by hand. The coating flowed down like this... Half chicken was very dry and generally the plate was small. I can't understand why the store is still doing so well. The food there used to be much better and more affordable. The quality has now deteriorated significantly, so the price-performance ratio no longer fits. When we were asked at the end how it was and just said that the chicken was dry, the waitress just laughed. His question was just an empty phrase, he didn't really want to inquire. An apology or something similar would have been appreciated and I think that's the least. After all, you pay for the food. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Staff very unfriendly, worst of all, the 50-year-old with a short beard. I've often been there with 30 people to enjoy, but when the staff treats you like that, your appetite is gone, no matter how good the dish was

I like the food and the ambience, but I don't wish the old gentleman with the short white hair anything good. Very unfriendly and embarrassing to communicate with the gentleman. He moved me 3 times and at the end he snapped at me. The rest of the staff are better than the old man (around 1.70m and glasses, angular face, [person on the left in the photo]), but not particularly nice either.

It could be cleaner. It's been a long time since I've been there and I'm shocked at how small the portions have become. Way too expensive for what you get there. Adana skewer totally small and flat, chicken small and charred. Very unfortunate.

A few years ago I often ate at Nasa and it always tasted good. But lately it's been a disaster. A few weeks ago I treated myself to a kebab and it was so disgusting that I had to throw half of it away. Last week I thought to myself, come on, give them another chance. But the pizza I ordered was a complete disaster. I was also simply given a warm drink. There is definitely no star from me. The quality definitely needs to improve.

I think two stars are too much. The staff worked as if they had to work there as a punishment. You waited a long time for someone to come to us and we waited even longer for food. The portion was quite large, but the fries and kebab were cold. Sat outside. Service was friendly, but nothing special. Eating took about 15-20 minutes. A Simit breakfast was ordered. I received 1x Simitring, 2x slices of cucumber, 2x slices of tomato, 6 olives & 6 pieces of cheese. There was also a coffee, which was a long time coming. The “breakfast” cost €13.00. Price performance very bad!

Amazing restaurant, just amazing... I had the Doner Kebap and i could not stop eating! They do not accept international credit cards so if you are a tourist. Be sure to have some cash!

The place is nice and is open late. Food was a little disappointing but not bad. Service is well, European so on par for the country but not great. Ambiance was superb though.

If you're hungry and want to eat here, you should give the shop a wide berth. Drinks were warm, soups were too salty, food was burnt. Even though we sent it back we didn't get anything new and still had to pay the full amount. We thought we were dealing with a hidden camera. But we weren't.😂

We once had raw grilled, overly oily chicken! On top of that, a meal was completely forgotten and, after several requests, ignored until the end! The basement was extremely unfriendly and unsympathetic...he didn't even apologize or find another solution! He didn't even say goodbye to us! What's more, the restaurant wasn't even fully operational yet, so it wouldn't be possible to keep up with the orders! We were here very often and enjoyed it, but that won't happen again in the future! Never again!

Today, with 5 friends, we walked from Darmstadt Stadt mitte to Nazar, we thought we should have a nice meal. My wife ordered cupra fish, I ordered mixed grill. My friend ordered a lentil soup. My wife ordered a salad. It smelled like crumpled parsley and red cabbage. My mixed grill was served. I have never seen such a disgusting grilled salad in my life. It was no different from the waste of salad, the rice was like this, three chicken tenders, three half of a chop. Sie Adana, that is, it was less than the meat put in a wrap and they burned it all. As I said, dear friends, I have never seen such a disgraceful thing in my life. I paid 62 Euros. I definitely do not recommend it for a siedelte. It is definitely not a place to sit. You will regret it very much, like me, I fell, you should not fall.

Bad food and unprofessional service...you're constantly stuck on hold. The prices are far too high for that. When it comes to prices for drinks, Nazar is already at the top of the mountain...bottle of water 8.75 euros, espresso 3.30 euros...for these prices the entire ambience is pretty inappropriate...even no tablecloths...some of the wait staff barely understand German. .. There is also cheating on dishes...they are kept small and not prepared according to the menu.

I was recently at Nazar Bakery and have had mixed experiences. Unfortunately, the staff seemed a bit unfriendly and the atmosphere wasn't exactly inviting, which spoiled the stay a bit. However, I have to say that the baklava was tasty and juicy. It was definitely a pleasure, but still not the best, so unfortunately not enough to overlook the other negative aspects and give full marks. Therefore 3 stars overall.

Pretty good meals at fair prices. The servers are friendly and accommodating (for example if you want to remove the sauce from a dish). The kebab meat is pretty good. The mint tea is a little disappointing, probably because of the lemon which masks the mint too much. Possibility of eating outside as well as inside. Not bad at all overall.

Nazar Bakery is a well-known company. It is my first stop when I come to Darmstadt. I regret to say that it has moved away from its old taste.

We were there with two families and children and experienced the worst kebab and grill we have ever seen and sometimes tried. It was obvious that the meat was not fresh as it was very dry and partially burnt. Unfortunately, the staff was not willing to respond to our complaints. Unfortunately, in the end we had to pay a bill of around €200 for a very bad, old and burnt grilled dish. We will definitely never visit Nazar Restaurant in Darmstadt again, and I will also strongly advise all my friends, family and other guests not to dine there, especially when it comes to kebabs and grilled dishes. An absolute no-go! The professionalism, hygiene and friendliness left a lot to be desired." It's a shame for owners if they even know how their restaurant is doing. My visit to Nazar Restaurant was extremely disappointing. The meat was grilled black and therefore potentially carcinogenic. The prices are completely excessive and bear no relation to the poor quality of the food. The staff was unprofessional and chaotic. It seems as if the restaurant owners think their customers are stupid, there is no other explanation for this miserable performance. I can only strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. It's a complete waste of time, money and nerves!

Schade für Besitzer ob sie überhaupt wissen wie es in ihrem Restaurant abläuft. Unser Besuch gestern Abend im Nauar Restaurant in Darmstadt war eine herbe Enttäuschung. Wir waren mit zwei Familien und Kindern dort und erlebten den schlechtesten Kebab und Grill, den wir jemals gesehen und teilweise probiert haben. Es war offensichtlich, dass das Fleisch nicht frisch war, da es sehr trocken und teilweise verbrannt war. Das Personal war leider auch nicht bereit, auf unsere Beschwerden einzugehen. Am Ende mussten wir leider eine Rechnung von etwa 200€ bezahlen für ein sehr schlechtes, altes und verbranntes Grillgericht. Wir werden definitiv nie wieder das Nauar Restaurant in Darmstadt besuchen, und ich werde auch all meinen Freunden, meiner Familie und anderen Gästen dringend davon abraten, dort zu speisen, besonders wenn es um Kebab und Grillgerichte geht. Ein absolutes No-Go! Die Professionalität, Hygiene und Freundlichkeit ließen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Ich hoffe, dass diese Bewertung Ihre Erfahrungen angemessen widerspiegelt.

Even though the terrace was 12:00 at night, it was full of customers inside, and there was even a wait for the menu while 2 staff were trying to translate it. The plates of the customers who got up before us were still there. We had to ask the service staff twice to remove them, but the table was not cleared after that. 2. In terms of taste, there is no change from before to now. If you are very hungry and order, you can eat it, but there is no taste that is particularly binding there. 3.Price performance is very bad; No matter which restaurant you go to, there will be treats on the table, even if small, it is not possible to see such a thing here and it is a bit expensive compared to other places. 4. Even though it has its own bakery, the bread was stale. Note: If expanding your business reduces your quality, it is better to maintain the quality and stay in the same place.

This place should not represent Turkey We came to have soup at night. Meat came from lentils. The chicken soup was red in color, full of vegetables, and tasted like water. I gave it another chance. Another time, we ordered Adana with my friend. I didn't particularly want onion. I asked the waiter who brought it and he pointed out which one had no onion and all the wraps had onion. They had not heated the lavash, it was a dry lavash. I am calling out to the business from here, either change your staff or do not disgrace Turkey.

Arrived satisfied, received great service, ate deliciously and left unhappy. Situation: My mom and I received a very friendly and warm welcome from the waiter, who took his time. We chose and ordered. Another waiter placed a dish on our table. Mom, without thinking, quickly took the first bite in anticipation and could tell by the meat that it was a different dish. I asked my mom whether I should let it go back or not. Since my mom liked it, we kept the dish with the thought that sending it back would mean sending the dish into the trash and it cost the restaurant money and well, whatever, we eat it. Another waiter came and spoke quietly and I thought he was apologizing. (As it turned out later, he supposedly just told us that we had to pay for everything) Well, we ate and were happy until we got the bill, which the waiter very nervously handed us. Since we weren't supposed to be charged for the dish, but it was on the bill, we went to the shift manager or boss. He just wanted to know which waiter was to blame and wanted the money. When I refused to pay for the wrong dish that the staff gave us because of their mistake, they threatened me that if I didn't pay the waiter would pay for the dish. I decided to pay for the dish because the friendly waiter wasn't to blame for the misery and I didn't want to make him pay for other people's mistakes. After a lot of back and forth I didn't have to pay the court. People... you shouldn't expose your own employees in front of customers and you shouldn't blame the team's mistakes on yourself in order to get money. The waiter who served us did his job professionally and customer-oriented. You should give such an employee support. A very unprofessional reaction was seen from the managers. The positive stars I give the restaurant are only because of our nice waiter. I hope he won't be held responsible for the team's mistake.

Very little food, exaggerated prices and very unfriendly staff. I paid 8.60 for a 0.75ml water. Very dry bread. The salad was disgusting. There were 6 pieces of fries in the grill portion. Since my first visit to the restaurant, I have received very attentive, courteous and friendly service from the staff. They were able to fulfill all my wishes to my satisfaction. I would especially like to thank the waiter Emin. I can only recommend this restaurant. Food and service each deserve 5 stars. Thanks for everything and keep it up.

I don't give any stars for this visit. I had number 171 fried lamb with tomatoes onions... The meat was of poor quality, had too much fat and was tough. You could hardly eat it. It wasn't seasoned and was swimming in a huge amount of oil. The side bread was served separately, completely burnt and reheated. My guest's meal was a Dürüm kebab. The bread it was wrapped in wasn't baked properly and you couldn't eat it either. Overall very disappointing today. The complaint was also communicated to the staff. But no reaction to that. The service is also not what you would expect in a restaurant like this. I probably won't come here again, the reason for this is the upward pricing, which is out of proportion to the quality of the food.

From visit to visit it gets worse and worse. Yesterday the three of us had a kebab plate and there was hardly anything on it. Price performance is really bad. The last time it took us 32 minutes to pay, we couldn't pay until we got up and told the waiter that's right, then we could leave. One of the few places open until 4.30 am in Darmstadt. Rare in Germany. Environment: external and internal. Fast food. An unusual place for a country that closes restaurants at 10 pm. An alternative that the Germans do not exploit.

We have been a customer of Nazar for years, but recently the prices have become more and more expensive and outrageous. When you ask whether Gözleme can be made fresh, you are arrogantly told “NO!!!”. And then they charge €4 for an old cold mushy gözleme. I'm just at a loss for words. Well, apparently it's more important to finance the big carts in the backyard than to make the customers happy. Nevertheless, good luck to your junk shop!
