Burger King Darmstadt in Darmstadt

A delicious burger that takes 50 minutes to get, a disorganized store, unmotivated staff, and a over 10 car waiting line. I've never seen a Burger King without a kiosk.

Overall a good Burger King. The interior design is successful and the staff is friendly. There are also Cola Freestyle machines :). Unfortunately, it often takes a long time to get your food.

It's in a very good location, especially if you're traveling by car and coming from a different city because it also has a drive in. There is enough space for a big crowd on the inside. Service is decent, could be sometimes slow if they get too many customers at once but that's understandable. Food is as you'd find on any other burger king place, it's classic. Good place for a quick snack.

Super slow. Work step ill-considered. No hand and hand work. We've been standing in line for 20 minutes and there are exactly 3 people in front of us. this is anything but fast food

This branch has a drinks machine (refill)

Extremely long waiting time to order and until the food was ready. Took at least 45 minutes total just to order and get the first half of the food.

Disgusting and rusty like motor oil

Waiting in line for 25 minutes just to order. Only one cash register open on a Saturday. Without words. Nice and patient service, but that doesn't help either

This restaurant is absolutely not recommended. Products are often forgotten or packed incorrectly (plant based and meat are regularly mixed up). But what bothers me most about this branch is the long waiting times. If there is a lot going on, you can go straight to the competition and finish even quicker despite the detour. And when there's little going on, time is still wasted unnecessarily because the kitchen can't keep up with the orders. Absolutely not recommended!

I gave a order and they accept my order. I paid for my order and after few minutes their manager comes to me with bad attitude and says we don’t have a thing that I ordered!!!! What’s a bad customer service?!!!! Strongly not recommended to go over there ! Never gone a go back…

A bit dirty, the drinks machines seem a bit grubby and the toilets are disgusting, the changing table is also dirty.

Today (09/22/24) I was served at around 1:30 p.m. by a very friendly and courteous employee. According to his name tag, his name was Tomasz. He gave me very good advice on the selection of products and was extremely polite.

Hot and delicious burgers, 😋😋😋 crispy fries and good service. I recommend it.

Apparently the staff is changed too quickly. Which unfortunately counteracts a smooth and quick process and waiting time. And of course, as with the Yellow M, one or the other is often forgotten in the order.

Right next to a waste incineration plant...

In the past, something was always forgotten when ordering at the drive-thru, I thought it would get better. Today it was that time again. 2 side dishes were missing and the churros had no cinnamon & sugar and no ice cream. I'm just annoyed, I ended up paying money for it. The return trip isn't worth it because of the distance, but you should get it under control slowly.

Well, smaller, older branch, well utilized. Order mixed up and forgotten. No soap in the toilet

Ordered four standard menus. There were 20 minutes between the first and last burger! Operation seemed uncoordinated and slow.

Worst Burger King I've ever been to. Bad food, unfriendly employees and a very dirty shop.

So I have to say that a lot of things are going differently here now than they were a few years ago, the last few weeks have shown me more and more how dissatisfied you can be with an order at Burger King. Waited 15 minutes until I was served and then another 20 minutes at least. I waited for my takeaway food, although my first burger had already been lying there for 10 minutes and is now cold. I don't understand why people keep slacking off here, you used to be better.

Food is okay but service is sooooo slow

58 minutes waiting time to order. Another 17 minutes waiting time after ordering. Failed test. Nothing more, nothing less.

Been waiting for my order for over 45 minutes. Air conditioning feels off. Inside, everything is full of wasps (dead and alive). You can't eat in peace. The wasps probably come in because it's so hot in here. In summer it would be good to have the air conditioning running at full speed or at least so that the room is cooled.

Very nice staff at the drive in, thanks again to Marco who took the time to explain the BK app to me. It's always nice to see people working with passion.

Burger restaurant with the well-known Burger King range. Friendly service-oriented staff, clean, enough parking spaces

I have NEVER gotten everything I ordered there at the drive-thru. It's not that difficult.

One of the most disorganized BK stores I've ever had the displeasure of visiting, poorly trained staff and a complete mess!

So the burgers were good, the service was friendly. Unfortunately the store was dirty, the drinks station was dirty. I first wiped our table with a Zewa. You can also clearly see the dirt on the other tables. Some of the steel chairs had loose struts - risk of injury!

We waited almost 40 minutes for our food.

Nothing special. If you know one, you know them all.

...if the collector doesn't manage to get the ice cream... and he pours it back into the machine, well... if he drops the cup in there... and then he fumbles it out with his bare hand in order to refill it .. I find that difficult..

Years ago on Sundays I drove there from Jugenheim and wasn't served! I waited in line at 3 checkouts, every time it was my turn I had to go next door. I left and never entered the store again!

At a late hour, pedestrians are pushed into the drive through because the door to the restaurant has already closed. A note to the cashier that it can't be the case that as a pedestrian you have to go through the drive through is answered with the statement that you are just a number here and you don't want to send the complaint to the branch manager because you are a quiet person evening would like. Absolute madness!!!

When we visited Burger King, the burger patties were completely burnt and the fries were rubbish. A disappointing experience.

Often they brew forever and get something ready

By far the worst Burger King I have ever visited. Staff that hardly speaks German, the food took forever to serve, the taste... well. The toilet and the interior were dingy. Conclusion: once and never again

The coupons themselves are actually good. But the staff is terrible! One employee is called Khaled, he only lets the girls eat in the restaurant and he tells me that you can only order take-away!! The cleanliness isn't far off either. He picks up dropped food and gives it to customers!! I like eating at Burgerking, but with this kind of behavior I probably won't anymore! At least not in Darmstadt. It's a shame there's only one Burger King.

Very friendly staff and very clean. There was hardly anything going on when I visited. The food was freshly made...I was very satisfied.

Nice bright and well kept Burger King. There is a pleasant amount of space between the tables. The team is friendly and the dishes are prepared fresh and quickly.

The most disgusting Burger King I've ever been to. Communication with employees impossible. According to them, a chilli cheese sauce is not a cheese sauce. Before ordering, I specifically asked if the chilli sauce was a cheese sauce. According to the employee it was said that the chilli sauce is not a cheese sauce. He couldn't answer my questions about why it was called chilli cheese. His statement was simply “we don’t have any cheese sauce. My boyfriend is also allergic to cheese. If he has an allergic reaction there will definitely be legal consequences.

Closing the doors almost 10 minutes before the stated closing time while the DriveIn is still open was really bad :(

Good place for vegans as their vegan menu is pretty big und e.g. the mayo is vegan for everyone. Service was not super friendly and all of the people who ordered after us got their food earlier so we had to wait quite a bit. The restaurant is pretty clean, they have a nice area to sit outside and the bathrooms are fine, too. Overall a good place, food was tasty and as it's the only one in Darmstadt, can definitely recommend over their competitor.

Very great, helpful and hard-working service at the drive-in counter today May 15th, 2024 at 11:00 p.m. I found it very fascinating how the young lady ran back and forth, but still spoke very friendly to customers, she is very friendly and nice. Keep it up 👍

Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the branch in Darmstadt. Bad air in there, bad furniture, then bad staff, that did the rest.

Service was extremely unfriendly. Long wait and the food was ok.

I live in Darmstadt, the food is absolutely delicious sometimes and sometimes it's ok, so the waiting line is too long, you feel like you're dying on Sundays, Fridays, etc.

Not very nicely furnished, everything functional, far too expensive.

The waiting time is a good 8 minutes longer than at other fast food shops, but it's worth it. Everything is freshly prepared, meaning no stale or rock-hard burgers. Nothing wrong with the service. Polite, competent. 1 point deduction for the self-service drinks machines - touch does not respond straight away.

Really nice team here. I got a different burger than I expected. Maybe it was my mistake too? But the nice waitress immediately offered to remake the burger. Delicious and fresh. That was nicer than expected. I would love to come back here.

I've been here for a while now, unfortunately the whopper doesn't taste as good as it used to, which is a shame.

The food and ambience here was surprisingly nice. But it's better not to order the Fanta or any soft skills cupboards here.

The food was pretty tasty, but the order experience was SLOW. There were only five customers before me, and it took 40 minutes to get to the cashier. FOURTY MINUTES.

Here are the slowest people working, you ask the branch manager to open a second cash register. Which was not accepted due to a lack of staff. Not recommended!!!!

Employees work soooo slowly, left again

Been there again for ages. We immediately regretted it when we got home when we looked at the Long Chicken Plant Based. At least it was the right pattie, but it was topped with stale brown lettuce. Was the last time 🤢

Disgust of the century! Unfortunately, when we opened our Plant Based Long Chicken Burgers (3 pieces), we noticed that the lettuce was already BROWN and that they no longer looked good overall. How can you still sell something like that? Where is the hygiene and shelf life of the food checked? That was the last time at Burger King! - You're welcome -

Unfriendly employees, the first shop that told me "You can't change the drink from the menu"

Lots of employees there but despite fewer customers on a Sunday lunchtime it took FOREVER to get your order. So the service is bottom drawer

I can only agree, it just takes time and takes time. Apart from that, the women's toilet is a pure bacteria carrier. The lid and the toilet itself were full of urine inside and out. Disgusting ! 🤮

Urgent need for renovation, both in the dining area and in the toilets. The staff was overwhelmed despite the moderate number of visitors, the kitchen floor looked dirty (crumbly, French fries on the floor). French fries were soggy and lukewarm, the freshly prepared burger was also only lukewarm, so not even the cheese melted. The cola from the machine came out unrefrigerated. The taste was as usual and after eating I felt like I had eaten a stone. This was the first visit to BK for at least three years and certainly the last for at least that long.

It's a shame there's no delivery, Lieferando and Uber Eats would be there to deliver it

I've never been to such a bad Burger King in my life. The employees work in slow motion and are overwhelmed. Would rather eat anything else but not there!!

Placing the order at the right time is the best thing that can happen. You can tap the drinks yourself and you can also collect Paybach points there. De Whopper didn't look like it did in the photos. As soon as we sat down, the “pack” arrived

Beautifully furnished - modern and current. Nice employee, but unfortunately very stressed. Food was very good for a fast food restaurant.

The meal was okay. Staff were slightly overwhelmed, at least at the checkout, resulting in long waiting times.

Drive in not good. Told 3 times a change of order would cost extra, confirmed 3 times and then forgot the mayo. Parking very difficult.

The slowest people ever work here. For a small order you have to wait what feels like a hundred years. The fact that so many employees were there was simply an impudence. You can go there when you're nearby and want something to drink, but you should just be prepared to wait forever. Otherwise I can't recommend this Burger King here. The food isn't really tasty either.

The waiting times here are very long. Now I tried the drive in switch. There were 6 vehicles in front of me. After 20 minutes of waiting, a gentleman came out and said that it would take a little longer. The problem is that you have no way to drive past the queue. 5 minutes later I arrived at the order terminal. Before I placed the order, I was told that card payment was not possible. Another 5 minutes later I finally emerged from the drive inn with no food. A notice at the entrance to the Drive Inn that card payment was not possible would have saved me 30 minutes. I'm also familiar with long queues inside. Very poorly organized.

Chicken was undercooked so threw most of the burger away

Spent over half an hour in line at the drive-thru. One wonders why there is a position for ordering, a cash register and an issue if everything then has to be done by an employee at the issue?

I don't understand how, despite all these complaints about waiting times, nothing can be changed? It can't be the case that you have to wait in line for an hour at a fast food restaurant just to be able to order your food! Why are there no order terminals here like in all other branches? And this is the only BK in the city, you should actually be prepared for a crowd of people here. I was definitely here for the last time!

Neue schöne Einrichtung und ein Whopper ist immer ein Genuss.

Nie wieder essen abgeholt Bein drive in Getränke wurden nicht mitgegeben habe auch vergessen zu schauen und Burger wurden ohne Käse bestellt und wurde wieder mit Käse mitgegeben einfach o Sterne nie wieder

Laut Homepage und Türaushang soll diese Filiale bis 2 Uhr nachts aufhaben. Der BK Mitarbeiter schickt die Kunden allerdings bereits um 0 Uhr wieder raus mit dem Verweis, dass nur noch der Drive in Bestellungen entgegen nimmt. Stühle waren ebenfalls schon hochgestellt und es war bereits geputzt, sodass der Eindruck entsteht, dass die Mitarbeiter die Öffnungszeiten des Restaurants recht frei und willkürlich auslegen

Diese Filiale von Burgerking hat nichts mit mit „Fast“ Food zu tuen. Beim Drive in Schalter ist es nichts ungewöhnliches bis zu 1stunde zu warten. Also wenn ich eine Stunde auf ein Essen warten muss dann gehe ich lieber zu einem echten Restaurant mit den selben warte Zeiten aber besseres Essen. Eindeutig ist diese Filiale unterbesetzt und braucht dringend Personal oder ein neues Management.

Service was top notch. Food was great. Refills were available as well as ice. I was flabbergasted at how nice my experience was. Good job and thank you.
