I had the pleasure of dining at New Indian Palace during my recent trip to Munich, and it was an unforgettable experience. This family-run restaurant creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly enhances the dining experience. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the owning family went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic visit. After dinner, I encountered an issue with my taxi, and the owner kindly arranged a ride back to my hotel for me—an incredible gesture of hospitality. This was one of the best dining experiences I had in Munich, and I can’t wait to return on my next visit!
Very bad food. 66 euros for two beef fillets that were no more than 8 cm wide and were oversalted. The fries were very oversalted and didn't even have mayonnaise. And the sauce was just as oversalted.
After the landlady assured me on the phone that I wouldn't have to make a reservation for a birthday lunch for three, we showed up for lunch that day. There was a large company in the restaurant but there were still enough free tables. Unfortunately, the landlady told me that since I hadn't made a reservation and the group was in the restaurant, we couldn't stay. I reminded her of the phone call but she said that was the case now. There was not a word of apology.
This was a very negative experience for us.
Everything perfect, brilliantly nice service. Annoying: Website constantly shows open until 6 p.m. You arrive, for example today at 2 p.m., everything is closed, closed. Dear Lacanto team, update your opening times on the web.
