Tolle location, schöner Biergarten im Innenhof - netter Service und prima Essen zu einem angemessenen Preis

Sehr sehr hübsches Restaurant mit zwei Außenbereichen. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Essen war sehr lecker ubd eibe große Portion. Wir hatten Wiener Schnitzel mit Salat dazu und Erdbeeren mit Maskarponecreme. Auch sehr groß. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Achtung, amerikanische Kreditkarteninhaber! Das Essen und der Service sind hervorragend, aber anscheinend werden US-Kreditkarten nicht akzeptiert. Ich habe beide Karten ausprobiert, beide wurden abgelehnt (und beide hatten noch Tausende von Dollar Kreditlimit). Ich musste schließlich zurück ins Hotel und Bargeld abheben, da ich nicht genug Bargeld dabei hatte, um die Rechnung zu bezahlen. Ansonsten kann ich das Restaurant empfehlen.

Wir waren vor ein paar Tagen da zum Essen und sind noch immer sehr beeindruckt. Das Essen , frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet, war mega lecker. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ja, es ist teurer als in anderen Restaurants, aber es lohnt sich wirklich ein paar Euro mehr zu bezahlen. Fünf Sterne!!!

Waren dort auf einer Hochzeitsfeier mit mehreren Personen eingeladen. Das Essen war sehr gut und Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Eigentlich ist keine Vorspeise nötig - aber leider auch empfehlenswert. Ich hatte er in Breznknödel-Carpaccio. Alles wurde gleichzeitig serviert.

Richtig gutes und hochwertiges Essen! Insbesondere der Außenbereich ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Wir kommen wieder!

Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Lokal. Das Essen wird mit viel Leidenschaft zubereitet und wird sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Lediglich der warme Schokoladenkuchen war nicht besonders gut. Man merkt, dass hier mehr Wert auf Vor- und Hauptspeisen gelegt wird. Vegetarische Gerichte sind ebenfalls sehr wenige auf der Speisekarte zu finden. Die Bedienung ist an manchen Tagen etwas gereizt und zeigt das auch ihren Gästen, das ist wohl tagesform abhängig. Ansonsten ist das Restaurant jedoch sehr zu empfehlen.

Mit einem Gourmetmenü-Gutschein kamen wir mehr zufällig hierher zum Mittagessen. Die Bedienung war seriös und aufmerksam. Das Essen kam schnell auf den Tisch. Es war sehr lecker, Fleisch und Fisch waren auf den Punkt richtig gegart. Einziger Minuspunkt war, dass das Wasser in den Toiletten nicht lief. Da wird aber sicherlich schnell Abhilfe geschaffen. Die Preise sind etwas hoch, aber aufgrund der sehr guten Qualität begründbar. Wir kommen gerrne wieder!

Immer eine gute Wahl! Egal ob für ein romantisches Essen zu zweit, Geschäftsreisen oder für Einladungen zu Firmen Feiern, immer perfekt! Und die Deko zu Weihnachten ist so genial schön. Der Wintergarten ist ein Traum.

Feine Auswahl ausgewählter Speisen, freundlicher Service.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal in Freising. Wer schonmal dort war, weiß dass die Bedienung gute und schlechte Tage hat, was das Erlebnis je nachdem schmälert. Ich war länger nicht mehr dort, aber wollte dem Lokal mal wieder eine Chance geben, da ich wusste, dass es für mich als Vegetarier schwer wird: Die Speisenkarte hat sich kaum geändert. Es gibt zwei vegetarische Hauptgerichte, die nicht besonders ausgefallen sind. Entweder ein Knödeltrio oder ein Wurzelgratin, welches mit einem Gratin-auflauf wenig zu tun hat. Es sind zwei Frühlingsrollen, welche mit Wurzelgemüse gefüllt sind. Leider nicht überzeugend, vor allem bei den hohen Preisen. Die Nachspeisen, der Kaiserschmarrn gut, aber der warme Schokokuchen ohne flüssigen Kern, geschmacklich nur in Ordnung. Fazit: Als Vegetarier absolut das Geld nicht wert, so schade es ist, denn die Fleischgerichte sehen nach so viel Leidenschaft aus und das Ambiente ist wundervoll.

Very cozy yet classy, ​​good food

Today I experienced something unbelievable. I wanted to invite a friend to dinner – Schrödl's is supposed to be delicious – so we arrived at the restaurant at 7:05 p.m. – there were 15-20 guests sitting outside, apparently still plenty of free seats, and almost all of them already had their food on the table. I asked the waitress if we could sit at a free table, but she replied (after checking with the manager) that we couldn't sit down or eat there (because we hadn't made a reservation) – it wouldn't be possible to serve two meals due to the lack of "capacity in the kitchen 🤣." We left the restaurant, stunned and speechless by this treatment. Luckily, there was another restaurant in town where we were able to enjoy a nice meal. It seems that guests aren't welcome here. Well, of course I won't bother anyone there again – the situation was beyond embarrassing.

A lovely place to enjoy a quiet dinner with your partner, complemented by a beautiful glass facade and extremely friendly service. The value for money is absolutely perfect. We'd go back anytime.

After the landlady assured me on the phone that I wouldn't have to make a reservation for a birthday lunch for three, we showed up for lunch that day. There was a large company in the restaurant but there were still enough free tables. Unfortunately, the landlady told me that since I hadn't made a reservation and the group was in the restaurant, we couldn't stay. I reminded her of the phone call but she said that was the case now. There was not a word of apology. This was a very negative experience for us.

I stumbled upon this place by chance. I was pleasantly surprised.

Very nice restaurant, great food, friendly service

It's not our first visit to Schrödl, but unfortunately it will be our last. We were very disappointed with tonight, the service seemed very uninterested. Information about dishes that were no longer available on the menu (mind you an hour after opening) was only available once you had chosen the dish, no asking during the meal whether everything was okay, no refilling of drinks or asking whether you would like a dessert or coffee. The food was ok, but unfortunately almost cold and unfortunately not appropriate for the price. The fact that it was a birthday dinner was completely ignored. We really know the restaurant differently and it's a shame how things went this evening.

The food was great. The service was initially reserved and unfriendly. We were a group that had been announced. Over time, the service warmed up, and we felt welcome after all. If we hadn't been celebrating a birthday, we probably would have left. The atmosphere was rather uninviting. The restrooms in the basement... they smell pretty bad.

We had made an appointment to discuss our wedding with the restaurant in advance and were looking forward to clarifying all the details. However, much to our annoyance, we were not informed that the appointment could not take place due to a lack of staff and an injury to the staff's leg. Instead, we were only informed about this when we arrived on site. An apology? None! There wasn't even an attempt to keep us at least to eat or drink. This lack of communication, lack of professionalism and lack of consideration for our plans has left us deeply disappointed. For an event as special as a wedding, we would have expected far more dedication and customer service. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

We had lunch in this very attractive location in Freising. The lunch menu is somewhat limited, but there should be something for every taste. Our dishes tasted good and were offered at a fair price-performance ratio. The service was friendly. We'd love to come back. Cashless payment is possible. Parking spaces are available in the area.

We ate very well, a bit expensive, but it was worth it. Cozy atmosphere, not too loud and enough space. The dark-haired waitress in particular was very friendly. We would come again. 😊

I have been visiting Schrödel's at irregular intervals since around 2015. I would never be disappointed! Years ago the prices were very high, but now that they have become significantly more expensive everywhere else, they are now only marginally above average. But Schrödel's cannot be compared with anything else and ranks leagues above all other restaurants, regardless of whether they are German or other cuisine. And not just in Freising but, in my opinion, in a much larger radius The boss, who is often mentioned here and sometimes seems a bit “harsh”, was/is always super correct, attentive and professional. "How to call into the forest..." I guess... You have to do the "job" for 30 years... 6 days double shift per week... Unfortunately we no longer live in/near Freising. I would like to have the restaurant in Landshut.

A great restaurant: tasty, attractively prepared food at reasonable prices! The service from the boss and waitress was attentive and friendly. When the weather was nice, we sat in the quiet and shady courtyard in the evening. We'd love to come back!

A mild summer evening, with delicious food, very good wine, courteous service in the beautiful courtyard.

We tried it several times, but unfortunately the “friendliness” of the boss is out of the question. We were there with friends for a birthday dinner last night. Despite a reservation, the table was not set. The restaurant wasn't even half full. After the boss arrived with four tickets and two day tickets, I had the nerve to ask her if she had more tickets than just the two. I then got the answer - would I have a problem with that? The rest would be at the restaurant. The sound makes the music! (Tip: maybe print one or two more cards) If we hadn't been there with friends, I would have gotten up and spent my €200 in another restaurant. That was the last time!

We came to the restaurant on Friday evening at 8:45 p.m. with the plan to have something to eat. We were intercepted at the door by a rather unfriendly waitress who explained to us that the kitchen was already closed. Because of us, the kitchen would no longer be opened. On a Friday evening at 8:45 p.m.!! I think they could have at least offered a cold dish and, above all, they could definitely have been friendlier. We came especially from Munich because the reviews were good. Apparently it's free - but the Italian restaurant around the corner in the district office is highly recommended! We received a very warm welcome here.

Too bad. We have been guests here for 20 years, but recently the food and service have become worse. In addition, the small menu is no longer varied. I think we were there for the last time. Price/performance simply doesn't fit anymore. Of course, the fact that there are cobwebs hanging in the corners of the guest room is not okay either.

We went last night for dinner. We barrely pass the door when the waitress came to us and said « Sorry, we close at 20h30 » Do I look at my watch « 20h23 » .Hey dear, don’t take me for an idiot ! It is your business, you want to close early cause it is quiet, fine, your right, just say « we are closed » , don’t justify with a lie.

We were there on a Thursday evening around 7pm and there were only 6 tables occupied, strange. That was very strange and reminiscent of Corona times. The food was very good, tasty, plentiful and reasonably priced, as was the waiting time. But what's not possible is that there is a piece of paper hanging at the entrance with the note "No card payment possible". It makes it seem as if this only happens on the day itself. But it has probably been the case for a very long time that the landlady doesn't accept cards. I don't know what that means, but that kind of thing scares me off. If the costs are too high, then I can only reply that I now have the bill for the meal with me in the mail, 85 cents. Postage, writing an invoice, printing, checking receipt, sending - that was nothing, right? A pity.

Nice staff and very good food in a nice atmosphere.

We were there with 10 people. 8 meals seemed good. Unfortunately I have to say: My Wiener Schnitzel came last, veal was dry, fried potatoes were more like burnt chips. Salad wasn't good either, think only 1 tablespoon of sauce at the bottom. Stirring was not possible. For the price of almost 30 euros, it's a disgrace. Actually not worth a star for me.

Ein wunderbarer Innenhof, sehr grün und entspannend, ein sehr freundliches Personal und ein sehr gutes Essen. preislich absolut normal.

Die Location ist super und sowohl der helle Innenbereich als auch der schöne Gastgarten machen einen sehr gemütlichen Eindruck. Wir hatten einen Platz im Gastgarten und die Möbel sind sehr schön und hochwertig, der Garten liegt in einem Innenhof und ist mit viel Grün rundherum sehr schön. Der Garten war recht voll als wir kamen, und wurde von zwei Personen bedient, daher waren die Wartezeiten etwas lang, und das Personal eher gestresst und nicht so aufmerksam wie man es erwarten würde. Vorspeise war lecker und schön angerichtet, Getränke auch super, leider bei der Hauptspeise Punkteabzug beim Steak, medium rare bestellt, aber bekommen habe ich etwas das grad noch als medium durchgeht. Habe überlegt es zu reklamieren, da wir aber schon relativ lang gewartet haben und die Bedienung auch längere Zeit nicht in unserer Nähe war, hab ichs nicht gemacht. Meine Liebste hatte Lamm, das war sehr gut, und die Portionen passen auch gut. Wenn man hin kommt wenn weniger los ist, denke ich das es ein tolles Restaurant ist, wenn viel los ist so wie wir es erlebt haben, leidet sowohl Service als auch Küche darunter. Fairer Weise muß man aber auch sagen, das vor dem Restaurant ein Schild steht auf dem nach Küchen- und Servicepersonal gesucht wird.

Schon etwas teurer, als wir normalerweise wählen würden, aber auch entsprechend gut! Qualität und Quantität. Preis-Leistung stimmt für mich 👍

Sehr schönes Ambiente, freundliche Bedienungen und ein exzellentes Essen. Wir waren zu viert und hatten unterschiedliche Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeisen. Ausnahmslos alle Essen waren sehr lecker. Klare Empfehlung von uns!

Ein sehr gemütliches und wundervolles Restaurant. Die Gerichte sind exzellent und haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir saßen draußen im Biergarten, welcher in einem Hinterhof eingebettet war. Tolles Flair, nette Atmosphäre - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Essen und Drinks waren sehr gut! Vor allem die vegetarischen Gerichte überzeugen 😊 sehr kreativ und lecker!!

Ich würde einen halben Stern abziehen da eine der Kellnerinen sehr unfreundlich war und hochnäsig wirkte. Das Essen jedoch was sehr sehr lecker. Das feilsche besser wie in Kathis steakhaus vom Garpunkt her.

Ein Restaurant das sicher schon bessere Jahre gesehen hat. Wir haben dort unseren Geburtstag gefeiert aber auch nur weil nichts anderes adäquates geöffnet hatte. Essen sowie Getränke hochpreisig gelegen. Wäre kein Problem wenn die Qualität passen würde. Tafelspitzsülze war sehr gut. Carpaccio vom Rind auch. Aber die Gurkengazpacho oder ehr Pudding ein Fehlgriff. Das Fleisch leider Gottes mit leichten Kühlschrank Beigeschmack sehr kauresistent. Egal ob Rind oder Lammrücken. Wir haben es nach langer Zeit wieder einmal versucht und somit ist es auch das letzte mal gewesen. Wenn ich zehn Jahre zurück denke fühlten wir uns dort sehr gut aufgehoben. Mehr Schein als sein. Und die ältere Bedienung in blond sieht die Gäste wohl auch lieber von hinten wenn gezahlt wurde. Gäste können auch nerven. Schade.

Lecker gegessen und über die freundliche Bedienung gefreut. Komme gerne wieder.

Ставлю высокую оценку, за обслуживание, за атмосферу, она здесь очень приятная, музыку почти не слышно, получаешь кайф и удовольствие, от общества и их общения. По еде, вкусно, быстрая подача. Обслуживание на 5 Пришли в ресторан в 20:30 в меню уже почти все закончилось, самые топовые позиции съели 😃👌 Рекомендую, если вы хотите вкусно поужинать и насладиться атмосферой интеллигентных немцев, а они здесь все семьями, от 5 лет до 95))) Интересно наблюдать 🤩

Sehr gutes Restaurant Die Dekoration ist wunderbar, ich habe mich wie in einem Film gefüllt. Die Terrasse ist gemütlich und schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und effizient. Das Essen ist gut, fein und ausreichend.

Gepflegtes Lokal im konsequenten Landhausstil. Essen in sehr guter Qualität. Preise sind angemessen. Mittagskarte.

Der Besuch für das Valentinstagsmenü war zumindest für uns eine reine Katastrophe. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Wartezeit zwischen der Suppe und dem Hauptgang war dafür nicht tragbar. Nach bereits 1,5h Aufenthalt nochmal 1,5h für nur für diesen Gang gewartet. Ein Hinweis an die Bedienungen fand nicht wirklich einen Interessenten… Mein Gefühl sagt mir, das an unserem Tisch alles schief Gelaufen. Auch die die Frage nach dem Kaffee zur Nachspeise schaffte es an den Nachbartisch, aber nicht zu uns. Immerhin hat man uns zügig die Rechnung gegeben… Das haben Sie, liebes Schrödl‘s Team, hervorragend gemacht!

Eine Perle in Freising. Freundliches Personal und super essen! Sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
