Nice restaurant with a small beer garden. Rustic delicious dishes. Gladly again.

Nice restaurant, friendly and attentive service. The pancake soup was unfortunately tasteless and lukewarm. Likewise the spaetzle with sauce for our daughter. €7.50 for a bottle of still water is an absolute disgrace! €4.50 for spaetzle with sauce is ok. The cheese spaetzle is slightly more than the children's spaetzle only with cheese and cream!!!!! Over €15! Sorry, the ratio isn't right. 2 adults and a toddler €79. No alcohol, no dessert... The potato salad was homemade and very tasty. Likewise the side salad. The Wiener Schnitzel is honestly baked in butter, but in total it doesn't contain 100g of meat... We won't be coming back because something else has to be on the table for the price. I understand the difficult situation in the catering industry because of VAT and Corona. But in my opinion the prices have more than reached their peak in this restaurant.

I can't say much about the hotel itself as I had to reschedule my trip due to illness. I wrote to the hotel four days before arrival via the Booking.com cancellation page to see whether I could receive an extraordinary cancellation or a partial waiver as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, the cancellation period was 7 days, which is a very long time these days (but I booked under these conditions, so that's my problem first). The answer was simply “cancellation period has expired”. Since I wasn't sure whether this was an automatic system message, I wrote to the hotel directly again. In response to this second inquiry and request for goodwill or reference to the ongoing European Football Championship with match day in Munich, during which the room can certainly be rented out at short notice without any problems, my reservation confirmation was sent to me without comment and in duplicate (presumably as a reference on the cancellation policy). I find this extremely rude, you should expect at least a short personal response to inquiries from booked guests in every hotel. I won't book here again and can't recommend it based on this experience, but as I said, I can't say anything about the hotel itself apart from the service and treatment of guests.

Good German cuisine. Convenient location directly at the parking lot opposite. Priced at the top end of the scale. Good but not so exceptional that it justifies the price premium. Very nice and fast service, fast cuisine.

The room is quite dated but clean. No shutters or blackout curtains. Breakfast can be sat down, not even instant coffee in the room. And of course the bakery across the street was closed. The wifi is barely passable. As for respecting other occupants... Noise until 2 a.m. with a heavily alcoholic group.

Ambiance were good. Food came quickly and was also good. Service was ok, we would have left more money if they had not only brought us the food and drinks, but also asked again in between or even tried to make eye contact. Because there wasn't too much going on. 😉

As a local from Freising, I didn't use a room. The inn and guest garden are very cozy and rustic. The cuisine is down-to-earth Austrian-Bavarian, of very good quality, with decent portions and a fair price-performance ratio. The landlord and the staff are original, friendly and extremely service-oriented. In addition to plenty of tables in the open guest area and in the guest garden, there are also separate closed rooms that are ideal for events, both business and private. I always enjoy going there and can recommend the “Heurigen Gasthaus zum Löwen” with a clear conscience based on my previous experiences.

We went here for dinner for the first time today. At first I had a very good impression. Special requests were taken into account. The food arrived quickly, as did the drinks. Then the chaos began. The boss was chatting with selected guests. We've been waiting for half an hour to be able to pay. No waitress gets lost at our table. The neighboring table was provided with new drinks, but instead of asking our table if we needed anything else, no one came. All money that could have been earned through more commitment. We then heard from a waitress that there was a large company in the next room. For that reason alone, as the boss, I have to make sure the store runs smoothly and doesn't argue with guests. The top priority should be that the guest feels cared for, is satisfied and comes back. It's a shame, really a shame.

I was happy about the work here and all in all it was clean, the price was right, the room was quite small but functional, points were deducted from the bathroom, the shower heads should be replaced if they were calcified (hardly anything came out). The rest of the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the restaurant makes delicious food. Thumbs up, I'll come back when I'm nearby.

:) Good price comparatively speaking, and better than a soulless airport hotel. Good shower. Nice, warm room. Location gives nice opportunity to wander into town, rather than being stuck in the middle of nowhere near the airport. :( Single bed without a headboard, 1 pillow. Long, narrow room. Very basic. But reflects the low price.

Today we had dinner with the family at the Heurigen. The food and service was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. The only downer when paying was that an additional hefty €1.50 was charged for ketchup on top of a children's schnitzel. The landlord should think about it again. Otherwise absolutely recommended!

Good home cooking, Bavarian-Austrian combined. The hosts and their staff are very accommodating, friendly and open. And take the time to give advice and brilliant recommendations. We'll definitely be back - this time with a larger group

Sehr gutes Essen. Kurze Speisekarte, die Qualität sicherstellt!

Durch Zufall sind wir über dieses Restaurant gestoßen und ich muss sagen wir waren begeistert. Extrem leckeres Essen und eine schöne Auswahl auf der Speisekarte (Fleischlastig). Ich hatte den Zwiebelrostbraten mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat (das Dressing ist sehr lecker!). Außerdem gibt es hier hin und wieder Pasta aus dem Parmesanleib oder gewisse Specials. Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich dekoriert und der Parkplatz ist direkt hinter dem Gebäude. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Leckeres Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre

Wir waren heute wieder einmal im Heurigen beim Ente essen, Knödel und Blaukraut. Es war einfach ein Gaumenschmaus. Im Anschluss noch die Krönung, einen Weltklasse Kaiserschmarren mit Rum flambiert und für den Junior natürlich ohne Alkohol. Superfreundliches zuvorkommendes Team die immer auf unsere Wünsche eingehen. Eine Empfehlung wert. Vielen Dank für die tolle Bewirtung.

Was an excellent stay, dining room was awesome

Unschlagbares Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Zimmer war sauber. Sehr freundlicher und unkomplizierter Check-In. Parkplätze waren auch inklusive. Zu Fuß ist die Altstadt in 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Frühstück gegenüber in der Bäckerei ab 6 Uhr.

Wir waren letzten Sonntag im Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Alles auch sehr schön angerichtet. Preise sind auch ok. Man kann drinnen oder draußen sitzen. Wir gehen schon bald wieder dorthin essen. Klare Empfehlung!

Waren Sonntags zum Essen da. Sonntags ist Bratentag, da gibt es immer frischen Krustenbraten. Und der war wirklich super lecker, fantastische Soße, guter Krustenbraten, dazu zweierlei Knödel und Krautsalat... Eine reichliche Portion, daher preislich auf jeden Fall angemessen. Freundlicher und zügiger Service, wirklich alles top! Liebe Grüße

Einfache, sehr saubere Zimmer mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Kleine Gemeinschaftsdachterrasse. Gute Gastronomie im gemütlichen Biergarten.

Das Essen ist immer super lecker und die Bedienung hat stets ein Lächeln parat. Die Preise für die Speisen sind angemessen.

바이엔슈테판 양조장 투어를 잡아놔서 1박 묵고 식사까지 했어요. King Ludwig Shnitzel 진짜 일품이니까 강추해요. 서비스도 좋고 객실도 묵을 만 했어요. Booked a night at the guesthouse and was satisfied. Food and beer was delicious especially the King Ludwig Schnitzel, Service was great as well.

Ich liebe dieses Lokal. Toller Service, mega Ambiente und das weltbeste Wiener Schnitzel. Einfach grandios!

Nettes Lokal inklusive Biergarten. Sehr gute und vielseitige Speisekarte, z.B. nur Knödelgerichte, Braten, Flammkuchen, Brotzeitteller, Salate und tollen Nachtisch. Humane Preise mit netter Bedienung. Parkplätze direkt am Landratsamt nutzen.

Waren zum Essen dort. Der Krustenbraten, ist der Beste in ganz Freising. Wir gehen immer gerne hin. Gutes Essen, große Weinauswahl, Bier fehlt auch nicht. Jani und Servicepersonal immer freundlich, die Wirtsleut, Isabella und Stefan sowieso. Wir fühlen uns immer willkommen.

Room was clean and adequate for my needs (an overnight stay). Service was good, and very polite. Location was pretty central and a short uber ride from Munich Airport. Although I didn't eat there the food did look and smell very appetising.

Hervorragendes Essen. Wer ein Freund vom Heurigen und Buschenschank ist, ein Muss.
