Good old Friedhelm is turning in his grave. When we were still truck drivers, it was a must to drive out of Ladbergen and stop off here. Breakfast with a huge portion of scrambled eggs and coffee for little 💰 money. The dinner was home-made like from mothers. Huge portions that even satisfied men. Old Friedhelm sat down at the table with you and asked about your concerns. Today it's a normal snack with potato salad from a bucket and you won't get full either. Yes, the furnishings have been modernized, but I would rather have the old tables and chairs and the warm hospitality from 11 years ago. Just a shame.

Absolutely top!! The goulash is the best in the world!!! But everything else is great too... Just!!!! THE kale that costs over €9 for a normal portion is exorbitant. Sorry.

The legendary Jupp bowl is a must. But the pizzas are also really tasty and very well topped. Always my pleasure

We drove an extra 80km to see you and were happy to eat with you. Google said you were open... we just arrived and you were closed. It would have been really great if you had edited it on Google so that we would know straight away. Now we drove for free. Really a shame. Therefore only one star

The Distel Grill on Kaiserstraße 👑 is simply the place to be in Herten! 🌟 Due to my several years of accommodation in the LWL Clinic in Herten, I know this place only too well. In the LWL-Forensik Eickelborn 🧱♥️, from which many patients were transferred to the GSA forensic ward of the LWL-Klinik Herten, you could only order pizza. But here at Distel Grill there are real German 🇩🇪 classics like Currywurst 🌭 and Schnitzel 🥩 that will make your mouth water! 🤤🍽️ Speaking of water ⚓️ and speaking of Kaiserstrasse 👑: I just have to think of someone... 💂🏻 With the construction of the Henrichenburg ship lift ⚓️, a significant connection was created, and who was there at the opening? That's right, Kaiser Wilhelm II. 👑💂🏻Some already know it, some will soon find out - it exists: The connection from Dortmund to Waltrop ‼️ In another context it is said that he once said "Je veux être un roi des gueux" said. But the "heavy boys" of the GSA station don't come by carriage, they prefer to walk. The Distel Grill is just a short walk away from the LWL Clinic in Herten. You can easily do it within the allowed time for a single exit. 🚶‍♂️ It only takes 34 minutes to cover the route - so march, march! 🏃‍♂️ When you arrive at the Distel Grill, a warm atmosphere awaits you. However, it is a shame that there is no cabbage roulade 🥬 or Malaga ice cream 🍦 here - those would be real highlights! 🫶 Nevertheless, I have fond memories of the Distel Grill and appreciate the authentic, emphatic and appreciative nature of the employees. They help everyone feel comfortable straight away. Cheap and tasty. Large portions. In Greece, salads are tastier and the portions are larger. But this is Germany and here it is very good and homemade.

Munzur used to be really good. Great taste and quality. Personally, I think that the quality and taste have deteriorated significantly.
