The owner was very rude, and no one came to the cash register when I tried to pay in cash. I stood there for at least 10 minutes, and when I asked if someone would come to the cash register, all I heard from the owner was, "We're busy. Surely you have time."

Great schnitzels, delicious. Good portions, except for the chicken schnitzel. Otherwise, very tasty. The air conditioning was a bit too cold. So bring a hoodie or jacket, and you'll be fine.

Finally a proper chip shop again.

A nice snack bar next to the Motel Espenhof. The food was good, the snack bar was nicely decorated and clean. The prices are very fair. All in all, a nice place to stop for a bite to eat, but still a "regular snack bar."

A great fast food restaurant. There is a large selection of different schnitzel variants with various sauces and hamburgers and gyros and several side dishes, including fresh salad. You put everything together yourself at a very affordable price. It tasted great and can be picked up from the counter in no time. You can sit outside under a covered veranda or in the restaurant.

Fast-food restaurant with friendly service, good food and mediocre ambience

We had just ordered two Holzsteiner schnitzels. We had previously asked them not to cook the fried egg all the way through, but it was completely cooked, so the yolk was standing upright. I then complained, and the lady said the place was full and snatched the plate out of my hand. It wasn't at all unfriendly (just this one lady, who didn't want to tell me her name either, so I won't repeat it here 👎 I'd love to include a photo, but unfortunately I don't know how 🤷

On our way back from Denmark, my wife and I discovered this fast-food restaurant by chance. We each had half a chicken with fries and homemade curry sauce, plus two drinks. We also had four coffees, which cost just over €17. The service was friendly and offered alternatives when choosing a dish. It's great that this fast-food restaurant still exists, where customers aren't ripped off or ripped off—in fact, the prices could easily be raised by at least one or two euros.

The food is perfectly fine. Large schnitzels, filling, and the dining area is clean and attractive. The kitchen area seems to be showing its age. The extractor hoods look pretty disgusting. The staff varies in their friendliness.

Wonderfully down-to-earth snack bar. Even as a vegetarian, I got my money's worth here. The ladies put together a salad. Plus fries and a slice of Bami. Plus a drink, €8 something. It couldn't be better.

The Giros plate is really tasty. If you want to finish your plate here, you have to be really hungry.

After years of great satisfaction, now several disappointments. Gray overcooked vegetables on the “gardener schnitzel”. Schnitzel with gypsy sauce: mushy thick lumps in the sauce. The sauce containers with the dried edges explained why. I hope that changes again.....better take a meal break there. Yes, things have improved again. The last few times I've eaten there have been without disappointment. Thumbs up again.

Unfortunately, the ladies behind the counter are absolutely unfriendly. I can understand that you can't always be over-friendly under stress, but that's always a disaster. It's a shame because the food tastes good and is plentiful.

Good old Friedhelm is turning in his grave. When we were still truck drivers, it was a must to drive out of Ladbergen and stop off here. Breakfast with a huge portion of scrambled eggs and coffee for little 💰 money. The dinner was home-made like from mothers. Huge portions that even satisfied men. Old Friedhelm sat down at the table with you and asked about your concerns. Today it's a normal snack with potato salad from a bucket and you won't get full either. Yes, the furnishings have been modernized, but I would rather have the old tables and chairs and the warm hospitality from 11 years ago. Just a shame.

The food is relatively cheap. You get good portions. I like the rustic furnishing style. Sometimes you wait a little longer for the food.

Conditions unfortunately very unfriendly! When you go to pick up your food, something is written in the long room, you have to be there within a few seconds or you have to shout back?? Unfortunately the fries were wobbly from the fat. No recommendation and other reviews have confirmed this for me.

The price for a Jägerschnitzel with fries is absolutely fine, and the taste is also good. Employees so-so, which can be accepted even after a long day at work and a lot of stress. What is not okay, however, is that non-alcoholic beer that is over six months old is out of the fridge. First noticed by the Krombacher campaign advertised in the bottle cap, which, however, expired at the end of last summer. More expired glasses were in the refrigerator and in the dish return. Certainly no one will die from the expired beer, but the thought must be allowed, how is it traded with other foodstuffs? Are expired foods also used? It can certainly happen that a bottle slips in there, but at least six of about 15 bottles look a lot like they were intentional!

Unfortunately the service was very moody and seemed unkempt. It would be better to look for a new job.... but the employed person would fit into the image of a long-term unemployed person. Food nothing special, run-of-the-mill ready meals hut. You could do more with it... The dining room looks dirty and uncomfortable, like a canteen. Prices too high for deep fryer food... The coffee is fine and luckily you can get a refill for free. The conclusion is that every kebab shop is better...

Very inconspicuous but a special place. Not entirely a coincidence, but due to information that there was a flat rate for a pot of coffee for €1. The food is great, you really get something on your fork and the price-performance is excellent. The employees are super nice, very accommodating and always have a good, friendly, quick saying on their lips. Thank you very much for your hospitality. I'm sure I'll come back

I discovered it by chance and it quickly became our favorite or standard fast food restaurant for driving on the A1. What is particularly noteworthy is the good taste of the food, the price/performance ratio and the fresh preparation - for a fast food restaurant. Fries and citizens are very tasty! 😋 The salad bar is highly recommended. There are salad bowls in three different sizes (small, medium and large) 🥗

Typical trucker place. (Meaning positively). Nice staff, affordable prices, plenty of coffee and good and plentiful food on the plate. Even as a non-truck driver, I always enjoy stopping here.

Legendary schnitzels. The service has a rather rough charm, the ambience is functional. But the most important thing is the food: first-class. Whenever I come along there, I take a break there. I even bring the Gärtnerin Schnitzel to my wife - 200 km delivery service. So absolute recommendation! 👍🏼

If you like classic schnitzel, currywurst, simply fantastic. The restaurant is absolutely worth breaking the journey. We had different schnitzels with four people. They were all great.

Has got to be the coolest spot I've ever found. Out off the edge of the FMO Münster airport made famous for last minute trips to Mallorca with Schlager King Mickie Kraus, this spot has 1 Euro cups of coffee and the best schnitzel and fries (mega portion). Beats the hell out of McDonald's or burger King next door and probably there alot longer. Not only were the servers friendly and polite but I met some awesome old timers there. Secret spot, has gas station and airport to escape to Timbuktu.

If you would like to take it with you, please check that it is complete. We have already received an incomplete bag twice. Although that was also the main meal time and the friendly ladies were really stressed.

Not what it used to be! A very, very unfriendly lady, complains to me in a very disrespectful manner in front of all the guests as to why I would clear the plates to the table, but it's so common here, I've known it for years that you can pay afterwards. Luckily her colleague, who was friendly, said we could of course eat first and pay afterwards. If you read this with unfriendly service, you'd better look for another job! You are a disaster when dealing with customers. As long as this lady serves you there, we won't be coming back!

Hello🫡 I haven't been there for a long time and I can imagine that the owners changed after Corona. The two women today, lazy and stupid, if one of them didn't pick up his food because it somehow got lost in the hustle and bustle, then the two of them were gossiping. Two guests were sitting outside and didn't notice that they were called and immediately started shouting, "Where are they supposed to pick up their food?" and so on. You can also go out and say your food is ready No, first get stupidly upset 🤦🏼 The food was good.

Was here for the first time, but it seems to be a shop that has been around forever. Keep it up! Price is right, even in these crazy times! ....unfortunately the big end comes at the back....The restaurant is well attended so everything suggests that the food is also okay, my choice (gypsy schnitzel fries) was also good...It is what it is.. .a snack bar, no more....sit down, eat and leave...the menu has everything that every other German snack bar offers...the interior is sober, unadorned, loveless...canteen character...behind The young lady who took the order at the counter should work on her appearance a little... you can't be rude in any restaurant... the service at the table was friendly and attentive... the shop was clean and the prices were normal... You can also sit on the outside terrace...no ambience there either, just cheap garden chairs, uncomfortable and loveless...unfortunately the above was just like that...we were there again on Friday and were disappointed 😞...from the homemade ones Schnitzel has become a convignien product, from the former delicious sauces too, which generally degrades and disappoints the taste, the friends and the enjoyment🤨🤨... very, very sad.. then it's better to stick with the previously good quality and quantity of the food and adjust the prices... only the seating in the restaurant has been replaced, the tables outside were dirty and were not cleaned even after being asked to do so, the furniture is old and worn... we definitely won't be coming back....🤨

For what I call a truck stop, it was really good. When ordering during rush hour it is a bit confusing but it always works. The food is quick and freshly prepared and very tasty. Very unfriendly staff, dirty tables, dirty toilet, then I asked if the air conditioning could be turned off because it was so cold at the table that you couldn't sit there and they said "no, I could eat somewhere else!" The air conditioning was on full doors when the outside temperature is below 20 degrees! NOT RECOMMENDED!

Was at Friedhelm's this evening it was normally well filled as always wanted to place my order once large fries once cevapcici with tzatziki and salad after salad she didn't have time as she did it in a way that was just disrespectful and unfriendly when you asked Stress is not baked then she should work I have been coming to Friedhelm for over 25 years when he was still in the village I never had any problems but today the lady with the glasses was just unfriendly I don't have to put up with that I wish the company much success had canceled my entire order, I can also go and take it somewhere else and as I said, I wish the company much success

Highly recommended 😊 We had the Schnitzel Gärtnerinnenart and the Hollo-Schnitzel. Both schnitzels were very large and there was definitely no skimping on the sauce. Neither do vegetables. Definitely excellent value for money. And also quick preparation.
