Chickenhood in Bochum

I tried the chicken – it was too crispy, but the flavor was pretty good and it was juicy. Unfortunately, you can only order through Wolt now – but I'll starve because their brilliant programmers were so incompetent. So I can't order from them anymore. ^^ I'd recommend KFC instead.

Unfortunately, it was significantly worse than it appears in many TikTok videos. The fries were cold when I received them. The smash burger is absolutely not worth the price – completely soggy and disappointing in taste. The wait was unnecessarily long. The Big Hood Bowl also wasn't what we expected. A bit of salad, some fries that weren't good either – definitely not the best. Overall, quite uninspired. The decor looks cheap, like basic IKEA furniture, and doesn't create a cozy atmosphere. The drinks were nothing special either – - including Fritz Cola. You either love it or hate it. The surroundings aren't exactly a highlight either, typical Wattenscheid. The only positive things were the sauce on the wings and the popcorn wings. The overall experience isn't worth more than two stars.

Amazing service!!! Very, very delicious burgers, highly recommended! For burger lovers, I've eaten there three times already and always enjoy going back with friends. Whenever I'm in the mood for a great burger, I go there. I haven't eaten anything better yet 😎🤝 It's great that you exist.

We ordered takeout today. When we got home, we noticed that two items were missing. I received a full refund, which is more than commendable. Eating from Chicken Hood is always a special treat for us. The quality, service, and atmosphere are top-notch – highly recommended, and we're looking forward to our next visit! ❤️

Of the hundreds of places we've tried, this is definitely number one. The food tastes phenomenal. The chicken is very crunchy. The Joppie sauce is delicious. You can always make it. The staff is friendly. Sometimes it's very busy, but that's not without reason. They also have a waiting room with seating and an outdoor patio area.

Although it may seem unassuming at first, we had a really good meal here and the food was great value for money! Excellent quality meat, no gristle/tendons, etc., tasty & crispy, good dips... what more could you want? :) The ground meat for burgers and other dishes is freshly sourced from a Turkish butcher. Even though it was a weekday, it was very busy in the evening! By the way, the owner is also super nice and happy to take the time to chat with guests and discuss smash burgers. 🍔

The number one address for chicken in Wattenscheid! KFC and the like can't even come close to matching the quality and taste... The fries bowls with the burger patties on top are also an absolutely fantastic creation 👌 Next time, I'll finally try the Smashburger 🙌🏼

I really like Chickenhood! The food there tastes great, and I found the meat cooked well and had a great flavor! I'll definitely be going there more often from now on.

There were five of us there and we received a friendly welcome. Once it was clear we were eating in, two tables were put together. What was really positive was that the chef had the situation completely under control and wasn't above cleaning up small leftovers from the floor. The food was a 10 out of 10. All of our colleagues were thrilled, and it won't be our last time at this restaurant.

Absolutely top-notch! Chicken Hood in Bochum is truly unbeatable – the food is fresh, juicy, and incredibly delicious. The sauces and crispy chicken are a particular highlight. 10/10 The food really fills you up I thought 12 hot wings won't fill me up but I'm really fascinated by how delicious it is

There's no service; you get everything yourself from the counter. For food, I ordered a Hood Bowl with chicken, fries, and salad topped with cheese. It wasn't topped with cheese, and what they called a salad was just dry iceberg lettuce, nothing more. Charging €12 for this is a rip-off. The buffalo wings, however, were great and saved my evening.

I went to Chickenhood with my family last night and I can only say I'm thrilled! If you're looking for crispy chicken of the highest quality and with tons of flavor, this is the place to go. The chicken was crispy on the outside and well-seasoned, juicy and tender on the inside, not dry at all. The shop itself is modern and inviting. Clean, friendly, and pleasantly bright. The seating is comfortable, and there's a great atmosphere. The service was super friendly, attentive, and fast. I barely had to wait, and the staff were able to answer all my questions about the dishes (e.g., spiciness, ingredients, or recommendations). Chickenhood is one of my favorites, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The chicken was just as delicious as we imagined, perfectly seasoned and juicy thanks to the sauce. The meat is halal! The fries and burgers were also good; nothing new, but everything was still delicious. The restaurant has a really cool decor. Even though it was very busy that day, we didn't even wait 10 minutes. A few things were missing from our order, but overall, the staff was friendly and welcoming. There are also free parking spaces nearby, which are free for two hours with a parking disc.

I was in Bochum with my family over the weekend and tried Chickenhood, and what can I say: we're addicted! 🍗🔥 Everything is fresh, halal, and simply delicious. Please open a Chickenhood in Frankfurt immediately, otherwise we'll have to commute to Bochum every weekend 😅. A clear 5 stars!

The sauces were all ready-made, nothing homemade. The chicken pieces were bland, edible, but nothing special. The women's and men's restrooms were next to each other. Despite renovations and yesterday's reopening, the restrooms were disastrous. Buffalo wings, popcorn, wings, and filet bites were 2/5 stars. It's good that they have ethically acceptable drinks and everything is halal. I came from Mönchengladbach, but unfortunately, it's not worth the trip in my opinion.
