Solid cuisine, wide range of dishes, also seasonal focus, we have asparagus weeks, communicative waitress, local beer from Landskron, the restaurant is ok, there is no special feel-good atmosphere. Gastmahl des Meeres used to be a chain, but now the restaurants are on their own. We had a good meal at the one in Görlitz.

We were here for a short vacation and a long weekend. We chose this property because the breakfast was conspicuously praised online. The rooms: It was fine in itself, but had minor repair defects. The handle to the bathroom came towards you and when you turned on the heater in the bathroom, a small panel at the bottom fell off. But otherwise great. Unfortunately we forgot to report these defects. If it hasn't been fixed yet: Room 205. ;) The bathroom was otherwise actually quite stylishly furnished. Unfortunately, the mattresses always pushed apart when you wanted to find each other. That was also a small minus point. Hence the 4/5 stars. The service: The staff was completely amazing! Multilingualism available, everyone was friendly, you could also have a nice chat. A smooth 5/5. The location: Very beautiful scenery! The property is an eye-catcher! Very nicely renovated. It radiates a good mood! It is also located directly on Lake Berzdorf. Also a 5/5! The restaurant: Unfortunately I have to note a lack of vegetarian dishes. That ensured that we didn't go any further. I had a salad the first night. It was tasty! But hardly any vegetarian food in 2025? .... 3/5 The breakfast: The breakfast is very well stocked and tasty. Here too, the service really scores. However, it's not as great as the internet thinks. For example, there was a lack of milk alternatives. All in all, still very good! Big plus point: We can enjoy our latte macchiato in the courtyard or in the room. The additional charge for breakfast was reasonable. 4/5. I think you can easily recommend the hotel and have a nice and quiet time. But be careful! The party room faces the courtyard! If you want to enjoy a quiet stay, you should ask when booking whether the ambience was booked for an event (wedding, etc.). Otherwise it can become rather stressful. :D We would come again.

Very good sushi. Nothing to complain about. The service is OK. The ambiance isn't quite perfect. But the food is absolutely perfect.

We spent another wonderful evening at our Old Town location. Everything is just perfect here. It starts with the ambiance and culminates in the hospitality, service, and delicious food. You can eat the menu from top to bottom. Everything is cooked with love and leaves you wanting more! It tastes simply amazing! Huge praise to the entire team! We went there with our team from work and had a little meat-making workshop with a tasting, and it was simply fantastic! We learned a lot, and our husbands also had fun preparing our appetizers! The food afterwards was also exceptionally good. I would definitely recommend it!
