For Mother's Day dinner with you so much went wrong!!! we waited inside for the table outside of our choice and already ordered 2 Aperol, which were NOT brought to us because the table was not the waiter's area! We got the table outside and then had to order the Aperol a second time. We order 2x grilled chicken breasts 2x small salad. The waitress hadn't really listened, let alone asked 1 main meal ordered and delivered. My food was cold when I asked if she had forgotten the 2nd meal - it didn't come until much later because she had only ordered 1 meal instead of 2. !! There was no excuse for it.!! She acted like she was checking to see if it was ready, but it didn't come until 20 minutes later!! The vegetable side dish was extremely burnt And instead of rosemary there were potatoes, as in the menu - 4 quarters of roasted potato slices mixed in with the sun-roasted vegetables. The service apologized for my complaint with a free espresso, But it didn't provide any perfect vegetables. Then the waitress came with our further order of 1 glass of Chianti and 1 glass of Chardonnay. The tray wobbled and both glasses tipped down, the contents spilled all over the table and us!! The other waiter just said it was because the table was wobbly - but I told him the glasses had already fallen!! I left over €100 there and the previously spilled wine on our clothes was still charged FULL!! Impudence!!!!

Food was very tasty. The waiter had his first day. He was a little confused. Otherwise nice atmosphere.

The meat is very raw, it is very unclean, the seller is unfriendly, the fries are still half frozen, everything is bad.

I couldn't rate the food because it was closed. The medieval building has a very long city history. As the name "armoury" suggests, it is used to store weapons and military equipment of all kinds. This is where the citizens' militia in particular were armed and equipped in the event of a defense. According to reports, during the coalition wars after their withdrawal from Überlingen, the French army confiscated 34 outdated cannons, around five hundred muskets, three hundred double hooks, several swords, pikes and eighteen pieces of armor.

Wonderful stay – absolutely recommended! We had a great stay at this hotel! We were warmly welcomed at check-in and the staff was very helpful and courteous throughout our stay. The rooms, modernized old building, are clean and comfortable. We would particularly like to highlight the breakfast: fresh, varied and with great attention to detail, as well as the 3-course daily menu at a really fair price (also vegetarian). The location of the hotel is ideal, everything is within walking distance. We can fully recommend this hotel!

Stopped by for lunch during our vacation and tried the pizza and risotto. The food wasn’t quite to our taste — the risotto could have been cooked better, and the pizza was a bit hard and not warm enough. That said, the staff were very friendly and the service was pleasant.

I was there again for dinner, and it was like diarrhea. The service was incredibly slow and bad. I waited almost two hours for my food. The only good thing about the place was student number 5 and the employee with the bald head. He was a nice man.

Had a positive reservation by email on February 15, 2025 for 10 people and was faced with a locked door. Very great - thank you!

We arrived at 8:00 p.m. with seven people. The waitress sent us out straight away because she wanted to get off work. (There would have been enough space) According to the internet it was open until 10 p.m. Very unfortunate

Very nice restaurant and very nice staff. Kässpätzle wasn't on the menu at the moment - and yet it was there. That was great.

You can have a good time on the terrace in the immediate vicinity of Lake Constance and Überlingen's old town Nice staff and good food! Our dog was immediately brought a bowl of water.
