Delicious and good! Fast and friendly service!

A very cozy restaurant with excellent food; I especially recommend the Tagliatelle Caruso! Attentive waiters, a great location right on the shore, including a fantastic sunset over Lake Constance. Anyone who enjoys truly good Italian cuisine has to come here! One small drawback: if you sit near the bar, it smells a bit like cigarettes, as smoking is permitted there.

The very male-friendly manager showed us our seats, the food was delicious, and the drinks were great.

As for the food, it is only here, delicious, pleasant and the service is irreplaceable, funny and friendly, I recommend 1000%, I am very satisfied, I ate well and deliciously, and I laughed with mega nice service, it should be in every restaurant, every now and then someone from the service asked if everything was OK or nothing we needed, and by the way it was very nice and funny,

The pizza itself was good. However, the price for a gluten-free pizza was steep. A regular pizza costs €4.50, which means you pay twice for the dough: once for the regular pizza and the surcharge for the gluten-free pizza. And that's for about a handful of flour—you certainly don't need much more for a pizza.

A very nice location for a relaxing break with coffee and cake. Unfortunately, we had the feeling that guests with large backpacks (hiking backpacks) weren't particularly welcome. We received a somewhat unfriendly welcome as soon as we sat down. Unfortunately, the same was true of our ordering experience. Everything was served very quickly and efficiently, which is actually a positive. However, when it came to paying, we were quickly taken away, and the waiter left without even a farewell. Well, friendliness definitely improves ;-)

Although we were seated immediately upon arrival, we were ignored for a long time and only received the menu after asking. Guests who arrived after us were served ahead of us. The service seemed unfriendly and disinterested, apparently because we only wanted a drink. Our order was also mixed up. The iced coffee was reasonably priced, but tasted like plain supermarket vanilla ice cream. It seemed as if younger guests like us weren't taken seriously or didn't fit into the desired "clientele." It's a shame—we've rarely had such an unfriendly experience. Definitely a one-time visit for us. We wish you all the best, but we really hope your sleeves slip down while washing your hands.

The food was very good and arrived relatively quickly, almost at the same time as the drinks. However, the service was not only extremely impatient, even with adjacent tables, but also particularly unfriendly, making us guests feel very strongly that we were unwelcome or at least not welcome. Outrageous Reaction I was at Allegretto for lunch a few days ago during the week and ordered vegetarian lasagna. The lasagna came served on a plate and was sprinkled with Parmesan cheese (not vegetarian). To avoid food waste, I removed the Parmesan from the outside and ate the dish anyway. When paying, I politely pointed out to the waiter that there was Parmesan on the vegetarian lasagna, and that it wasn't vegetarian. He didn't understand at first and simply said it wasn't vegan. I then had to explain to him that Parmesan contains animal rennet and isn't suitable for a vegetarian diet. Unfortunately, he laughed at this statement, raised his voice, and said that "there are probably worse things." In my opinion, this was an outrageous reaction! This issue should be handled sensitively and respectfully. I hope the waiter reflects on his behavior and something like this doesn't happen again in the future.

The location is exceptionally good. The pizza is very good. The pasta is very good, but a bit small. Drink prices are very high... €18.90 for a half liter of Lambrusco. The service is very chaotic and not particularly attentive. All in all, though, it's worth a visit.

We often eat at Allegretto. The food is fresh and delicious. The location is simply stunning. Allegretto is like a little vacation in between.

Unfortunately, it was only frozen (fish fillet, mixed vegetables) – and it was overcooked. Carelessly prepared and seasoned; perhaps the condiment trail across the plate was creative?

The wait times in this restaurant are very long. After your drink order has been taken, you wait a long time before anyone even comes to your table again, and if you want something, you have to ask several times before someone takes your order. Empty drink glasses were only cleared away upon request, even though the entire table was obviously full. It seems as if the primary goal here is to fill every available seat immediately – regardless of whether the staff can even keep up. The food isn't served together, but rather at intervals of more than 30 minutes. This means one person eats while the other has to watch. For us, this was an absolute no-go. If you value efficient service, you shouldn't go here.

There was a really rude and racist waiter who did not welcome us at all. He said this place is only for German speakers. Unacceptable service for a public and touristic place.

A lovely spot right on the lake promenade. The pizza was very good, but to mess up a fitness salad with veal schnitzel like that and then charge €23 is a real shame. Service was very attentive, even though it was very busy outside. But it's not their fault that the best employee is working at the pizza oven.

The pasta was missing the Parmesan cheese advertised on the menu. They don't have a restroom for restaurant patrons; we were directed to a public restroom. My cousin ordered a tuna pizza with mushrooms and got a pizza with onions and olives, even though he explicitly didn't want that. The service was unfriendly and completely uncustomer-oriented. A truly disappointing visit to the Allegretto restaurant in Überlingen. The pizza arrived incorrectly – when I complained, the waiter not only ignored me but actually yelled at me. They refused to exchange it, and they preferred to argue with me rather than solve the problem. The burger bread was rock-hard, the rice completely inedible and obviously undercooked. Even worse, however, was the staff: unfriendly, arrogant, and not at all customer-oriented. For me, this is clearly a restaurant that only relies on walk-up customers – who comes back doesn't seem to care. I can only advise everyone not to eat here. Absolutely not recommended.

Here's what I'd say: fantastic location on the waterfront, mediocre food, and poor service. We won't be going there again.

The food was good in a lovely setting right by the lake. There were delicious drinks and cold beer. Pizza and pasta were good. Unfortunately the service was hectic and everything had to go very quickly. Unfortunately we couldn't look at the entire menu, but the restaurant was full to the last seat. All in all the quality was good!

I was treated very rudely by a waiter as the owner of a friendly but playful young dog who briefly got in his way once. I will never go there again.

The worst food I've ever had at an Italian restaurant. We had penne al forno and tagliatelle with mushrooms. The mushrooms were from a can and the ham was from a package. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

We wanted to go out for dinner again on our last day of vacation and chose this restaurant. The restaurant, which is located directly on the promenade, looks inviting. The waiter came to our table quite quickly to bring us the menu. An order was only possible about 10 minutes later. Unfortunately, the food was brought before the drinks, which should usually be the other way around. The food (1x pizza and 1x pasta dish) were mass-produced. The pizza had little taste, the pasta was lukewarm and barely seasoned. I asked the waiter to bring me salt and pepper and parmesan cheese. However, since he was serving several other tables, I asked the neighboring table to give me salt and pepper. After several minutes, I finally got up to get some parmesan from a service station. The waiter then returned to the table. But not to apologize for having to get the spices myself, but to complain about what I would think of helping myself. True to the motto: If one guest does it, everyone does it. I understand his argument, but I didn't feel like eating my already lukewarm pasta cold because the waiter preferred other tables. Conclusion: we will not come back due to the unfriendliness of the waiter and the mediocre food. Maybe you plan more staff or have a better structure so that things run more smoothly. We were here on the evening of May 1st - absolutely full capacity inside and outside, but still very friendly and quick service. The pizzas are very good, everything else I would describe as rather average. Is it strange that guests are allowed to smoke in the bar area - I thought it had been banned for years? All in all, good for a drink on the terrace overlooking the lake, for a nice dinner go to the Ristorante Arena on the 1st floor :-).

We had realistic expectations - but unfortunately we were seriously disappointed. We waited almost an hour for our food. When it finally came, the anticipation quickly gave way to great disappointment. While we were waiting, we heard complaints from the neighboring tables: the food was not cooked properly and was inedible. Unfortunately, this impression was also true for us. My Gamberetti pizza tasted almost exclusively of garlic and was in no way reminiscent of what we know from L'Osteria, for example - a world of difference. The service also left a lot to be desired: the waitress seemed unfriendly and uninterested. Even simple requests, like a napkin, were not taken seriously - even though it was clear that the request was serious. We also noticed that plates fell to the floor and broke twice during our visit - that seemed anything but professional. Our glasses were also dirty (see picture), which further worsened the overall impression. The only positive thing about our visit was the beautiful ambience and the view of the water. Unfortunately, that couldn't make up for the rest. Would you like to shorten the text or adapt it for a specific platform such as Google or TripAdvisor?

We were there with a group and had no problems. The food came quickly and was very tasty, the portions were big enough. Overall the price is also very reasonable for the location. Only the service could have been a little friendlier. The gluten-free pizza selection is great and the gluten-free pizza is really delicious too! Only €4.50 extra for gluten-free is above average - but at least you get something for it.

Unfortunately, the service lady wasn't particularly friendly. Didn't feel welcome. Pasta was OK. The toilet on the upper floor was a real disaster!!!! No Go!!! Dirty and broken faucet. It's a shame, we were here on vacation several times 4 years ago. Stopped here while passing through and was disappointed.

There were four of us in the restaurant and we ordered a small salad as a starter. This was brought back while we were smoking, but the main course was left on our table, the only justification was: "You were away, so we served the salad with the main course, sorry." Personally I think it's too expensive, my brother ordered a meat dish that was similar to a children's portion. Simply an impudence. Tap water comes fresh from the tap and the full price is charged.

I asked the waitress over and showed her this, also telling her that I was absolutely not satisfied. She clearly didn't care - her answer: it's a pinsa. Even when we paid, she asked if everything was okay, so I told her again that I absolutely didn't like the pinsa. Her answer: so many people had this pinsa and everyone loved it. Tastes differ, I know, but the fact that you can hardly eat it because it was baked for too long and was therefore much too hard around the edges has nothing to do with taste. And if it's just soggy in the middle because the dough is so thin and there's a lot of topping on top, then unfortunately it's not as airy as described. Two stars, but only because the carbonara was okay.

Long waiting times and the service is a bit overwhelmed if you forget your orders or serve them incorrectly. If you serve an order incorrectly, you should bring the guest a new one straight away and not make them wait another 30 minutes to serve the correct order

A good pizza, friendly staff, and now the big one, but it can't be that people smoke at the bar in a pizzeria without there being a spatial separation. When we asked about it, we got the answer that it is allowed at Theresen, which is not the truth. Smoking is forbidden in restaurants, bars or cafés. So if you want to eat well, but without smoke, you don't have to go here. It's a shame.

Went spontaneously to Überlingen yesterday and came across this Italian restaurant. We were seated without a reservation and didn't have to wait long to receive the menu. The drink order was taken quite quickly. Unfortunately things progressed more slowly... Food was taken by a very unfriendly lady who made us feel like we weren't welcome with our children. Unfortunately, this lady served us throughout our entire stay. She threw the food rather roughly on the table, let's say, rather than putting it down. About the dishes: Bruschetta was very tasty, the salad was presented rather carelessly, the spaghetti bolognese for the kids was warm, my husband's carbornarra was lukewarm and my pinsa was unfortunately cold even though, according to the lady, it came fresh from the oven. Conclusion : Unfortunately we won't be eating there anymore
