Restaurant Ho Guom in Überlingen

Very disappointing. The service was uninterested. The peanut sauce was not tasty at all. I'll never go there again. What a shame!

We arrived at 8:00 p.m. with seven people. The waitress sent us out straight away because she wanted to get off work. (There would have been enough space) According to the internet it was open until 10 p.m. Very unfortunate

Wonderful, very tasty, fresh Vietnamese food! I definitely recommend the #38 (chicken with special spices) and the Vietnamese spring rolls for starters! The lady is also super sweet :) clear recommendation :)

Came to this restaurant by chance. Get a place for two without a reservation. The food was delicious.Good spices. Located right in the old town. Easy to reach on foot 👍🏼

Very simple but authentic restaurant here near the shore of Lake Constance in Überlingen with friendly and fast service. I was there with my wife for a lunch menu and we were both very impressed by the quality and quantity of the dish for 9 euros each. Lunch starts at 6 euros and the drinks prices are also moderate for the location. Price increases made elsewhere by increasing the VAT rate have not (yet) been implemented here. Highly recommended!!

Food totally unsalted, everyone at home cooks better than the chef in the restaurant, you can save your money people please

Food was dry and tasted very bad. There was meat in vegetarian food... Service very questionable, the waitress has headphones in her ear, rubber gloves that are worn for over 2 hours.. Cell phone operation, cashier, pressing on the cell phone or scratches on the head.. Ambience very boring, old and dirty. Table was full of crumbs and sauce stains.

I ordered the pho and it's ok but the fried rice and noodles my friends ordered, it was really very middling and not tasty

Excellent Vietnamese restaurant with an extensive menu. Duck in curry with rice was delicious and my wife's vego choice was fine. Price-quality was fine. 2 x starter and 2 x main course plus 2 cokes for 40 euros. Definitely worth repeating

Small restaurant with charm. We were served quickly and friendly. The selection on the menu is extensive and attractively priced. The food was served quickly and a large portion. Tastes very good and fresh. You can also pay by card here. There are parking spaces nearby (30 minutes with app or machine) or in the parking garage. We recommend.

We have been visiting this restaurant for many years. Both the lunch and the evening meals are always fresh, deliciously prepared and we are always full. Regardless of whether it's vegetarian (fried rice with vegetables) or another meal with mango sauce, it's simply delicious. Small restaurant, if you want to eat with several people, it makes sense to call ahead. You can also pre-order the food and then pick it up. We will be back definitely.

I liked it very much. It's small but still beautiful. The furnishings are very bright, which is pleasant to me personally. The food is optically a feast for the eyes and tastes very good. Gladly again and again.

A small, very cozy restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the waterfront. The service is friendly, attentive and the food was very good. The portions are generous, so no one has to worry about not being full. It is also possible to take the food with you to eat at home. If you can't manage the portion in the restaurant, you can pack it up and take it with you. All in all a good concept. Everything was perfect for us and we would love to come back.

Nice, small, personally run Vietnamese restaurant. The dishes are served in a small wok in the evening. A tea light keeps it warm. I especially like the dishes with mango curry sauce. Everything freshly prepared with fresh vegetables. Excellent value for money.

Food tastes good but i found a metal thing in my food and it was unacceptable the service was not that good the women that brought the food didn't give the very nice atmosphere so i did not like it there.

Wer Pho Ga sucht, bekommt sie hier. Ein kleines nettes Restaurant. Liegt zwar nicht an der Promenade von Überlingen, aber das fanden wir hat sich am Preis bemerkbar gemacht. Unsere Pho Ga war eine ausreichend große,heiße, asiatische Hühnersuppe. Sehr gut gewürzte Brühe. Auf Wunsch bekamen wir auch unsere geliebte Hoisin Sauce, welches die Suppe geschmacklich abrundet. Preis Leistung waren tipptopp. Zwei große Suppen mit zwei Cola, großes Glas für weniger als 25€. Also, vorbeischauen und sich eine eigene Meinung bilden ☝️👍🏻

Sehr schade. Gestern wollte ich zum ersten mal dort etwas bestellen und mitnehmen. Die Bedienung, wo vermutlich auch gleichzeitig die Chefin ist, ist sowas von unfreundlich und patzig gegenüber mir gewesen, dass ich wieder gegangen bin. Sehr unprofessionell, man sollte sich überlegen, dass sich schlechte Kritik schneller rumspricht als ein gutes Lob. So wie ich hier aber gelesen habe, ist die Unfreundlichkeit schon länger ein Problem. Das Essen soll laut meinen Freundeskreis aber in Ordnung sein.

Wie schon in einigen anderen Bewertungen erwähnt, war das Essen geschmacklich nicht gut. Ich koche selbst asiatisch und gehe sehr oft in asiatische Lokale. Das vietnamesische Curry schmeckte wie Fertigsosse, die Hoisinsosse auch. Die Bedienung war auch nicht besonders freundlich. Von mir keine Empfehlung.

Es war unmöglich, in diesem Restaurant zu essen (die Temperatur im Inneren betrug war 40 Grad). Sie sollten zumindest einen Ventilator aufstellen, wenn sie keine Klimaanlage haben.

Wir hatten das Gefühl das wir nicht willkommen sind. Keine Begrüßung, keine Reaktion ob Sie uns wahr genommen hat. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut, aber den Hauptgerichten fehlte der Geschmack. Ein kleiner Lächeln und etwas Würze im Essen würde dem ganzen 2 Sterne mehr einbringen.

Будучи впервые, нам очень понравилась еда, большие порции. Еда вкуснейшая, просто вау. С доброжелательностью Frau официантки конечно не очень. Грубо, без улыбки и внимания. А будучи во второй раз, нас узнали, но в этом был плюс, а минус. Так как порции поменьше, рис хотели дозаказать, нам сказали вот естьодна порция, делите ее на двоих (первый раз было каждому), и было сказано не в очень мягком тоне. Жара стояла неимоверная, в помещении не существует кондифионера🤷‍♀️ Ещё один минус летом в пекло. Так что доброжелательностью и не пахнет. А еда очень вкусная👍🤤

Das essen war sehr gut. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Die Portionen war sehr üppig und für die Ecke von Überlingen wirklich günstig. Wer nicht so viel Wert auf eine aufwendige Restaurantinnenausstattung legt und mehr auf gutes essen zum günstigen Preis fixiert ist, ist hier genau richtig.
