Very tasty cake, very nice place that we discovered on a bike tour. The warm snacks on the daily menu sounded tempting.

Das Gasthaus zum Felsen besticht durch seine malerische Lage in Überlingen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das überaus freundliche und aufmerksame Personal, das stets bemüht ist, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bieten. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich, und die Aussicht lädt zum Verweilen ein.Allerdings würde ich das Gasthaus nicht als Restaurant bezeichnen. Wer hier eine ausgiebige Mahlzeit erwartet, könnte enttäuscht werden. Es ist eher ein Ort, an dem man ein Getränk genießen und die Umgebung auf sich wirken lassen kann. Für eine kleine Pause und einen Drink ist das Gasthaus perfekt, aber wer auf der Suche nach kulinarischen Highlights ist, sollte sich vielleicht anderswo umsehen.

Friendly, competent, simply great in your field. I noticed an improvement the first time. I can only recommend you. Good parking options.

The portion of cheese fondue was simply minimal for the price The cheese taste wasn't anything special either... you can also make cheap packaged ones at home The raclette only consisted of a few slices, nothing else... way too expensive for that

I've never had such bad Vietnamese food. I can't imagine eating like that in Vietnam unless you want to get rid of leftovers. Stay away from Vietnamese dishes with rice noodles. Lots of pure rice noodles without sauce with an extra cold dip and a bit of salad. Hardly any herbs. The spring rolls were okay, but they couldn't save it either. It's better to just order these as an appetizer. Who wants unseasoned glass noodles with that? The chicken dish as well. A mountain of plain sushi rice and a few pieces of fried chicken on top with a few strips of a dipping sauce. Had some leftover food.

Update: we were there again Dec 2024 and I can continue the review with 5 stars :) thanks for the hospitality and the good food We were passing through to our second home in March and called there spontaneously. We didn't look quite dressed for dinner because of the transit and now comes the big praise, we came with 2 small children and a school child, we were greeted very nicely and got a beautifully decorated place, the staff was very, very friendly and accommodating. The small but sweet atmosphere probably attracts a lot of people but everyone was treated kindly. The drinks came quickly. The food was very tasty, the kids raved about the pizza (they are actually very own :) ) and our food was fresh, hot and very, very tasty. There was a bedside table even after everything was plastered and the price performance was justified, a restaurant that deserves 5 stars. We'll definitely come again, even if it takes a while :)

Extremely authentic Mexican cuisine with a wonderful ambience and great service. I can recommend everyone to eat there :)

the "Nero pizza" is a traditional italian restaurant. The restaurant is located near the city centre of Überlingen in an hidden alley, in front of the public library of Überlingen. When you enter the restaurant, on the first floor you have a atmospheric wine cellar like room for bigger reservations or ocassions. On the right side of the main entrance, a rounded stairway will guide you to the second floor where you can find the actual restaurant for dine in. The atmosphere is modern, especially the architectual design and dividing of the room was cozy and comfortable. The was always helpful and friendly with a extra portion of kindness, a real stuff which cares about there guests. In general you can come by at any time without prior reservation, but on weekdays I recommend to make a reservation before visiting the place. When it comes to the food, it was outstanding. We ordered a lasagne, pizza margherita as main dish and a tiramisu as a dessert, the food was tasty and the prices where ok. Overall I can highly recommend this lovely restaurant. I will definitely come back!
