For Mother's Day dinner with you so much went wrong!!! we waited inside for the table outside of our choice and already ordered 2 Aperol, which were NOT brought to us because the table was not the waiter's area! We got the table outside and then had to order the Aperol a second time. We order 2x grilled chicken breasts 2x small salad. The waitress hadn't really listened, let alone asked 1 main meal ordered and delivered. My food was cold when I asked if she had forgotten the 2nd meal - it didn't come until much later because she had only ordered 1 meal instead of 2. !! There was no excuse for it.!! She acted like she was checking to see if it was ready, but it didn't come until 20 minutes later!! The vegetable side dish was extremely burnt And instead of rosemary there were potatoes, as in the menu - 4 quarters of roasted potato slices mixed in with the sun-roasted vegetables. The service apologized for my complaint with a free espresso, But it didn't provide any perfect vegetables. Then the waitress came with our further order of 1 glass of Chianti and 1 glass of Chardonnay. The tray wobbled and both glasses tipped down, the contents spilled all over the table and us!! The other waiter just said it was because the table was wobbly - but I told him the glasses had already fallen!! I left over €100 there and the previously spilled wine on our clothes was still charged FULL!! Impudence!!!!

I ate at this restaurant on a hot day at 29 degrees. Unfortunately the service was disappointing. When I asked for ice cubes for my water, I was told there were no more. To my surprise, however, guests who ordered alcoholic drinks after me received plenty of ice cream. When I asked politely again, the waiter refused my request - it seemed arbitrary and not customer-oriented. The taste of the food was okay, but nothing special. Overall, I am left with a negative overall impression, especially because of the unprofessional treatment of guests for a simple request like ice cream in this heat.

Well, what can I say… La Vita? More like la sadness. The pizza was an absolute joke — and not even a funny one! The dough tasted like someone had taken an old moving box out of the basement, thrown a little cheese on it and said, “Buon Appetito!” Cardboard. Dry. Tasteless. Even yesterday's frozen pizza would have seemed like a gourmet's dream. And then the “spicy” salami… I really had to check to see if they had forgotten to add the spiciness or if they had accidentally ordered “homeopathically spicy”. Spoiler: it was milder than a chamomile tea after midnight. Absolute failure. The staff? Yeah... let's put it this way: If disinterest were Olympic, the team would definitely have the gold medal. No smile, no feeling of service - almost as if the guests were the annoying nuisance in their working day. I almost apologized for even being there. The ambience? Just like the food: loveless, cold and just plain wrong. Everything together didn't fit at all. Never again. When I feel like using cardboard again, I cut off a piece of cardboard — it's cheaper and probably even more flavorful.

Unfortunately a disappointing visit. We were ignored at the entrance and not given a table - so we sat down ourselves. After about five minutes, the card was slammed onto the table without a word and without any greeting. Nothing happened for another 15 minutes - no drink, no request, no service. The service seemed completely disinterested. Finally we left without having accomplished anything. This definitely makes you feel unwelcome as a guest.

Friendly waiters and nice view! But in culinary terms, it is the worst restaurant we have ever tasted. The Burger was bland, the steak was nothing like a steak. Defrosted fries, tasteless and tasteless! Plus, they tasted like fish.

Super nice and cozy restaurant with a direct view of the lake. I can highly recommend the pizza prosciutto and the penne with salmon. The staff is very friendly and despite the fact that it was busy at lunchtime, there wasn't a long wait for the food to arrive. Top price-performance ratio and top location.

Wow, guys, I'm telling you, the food was amazing! 🤩 With a view of the lake 🏔️ it tastes even better. The service was also really friendly and prompt. What more could you want? I'll definitely be back! There was pizza prosciutto and penne with salmon, the price was right. We'll be back.

Very tasty food and served to everyone at the same time

*Location very nice with a view of the lake.. *Service friendly.. *Mixed salad: you can get it better at home (ready-made dressing, iceberg lettuce, some cucumber and tomato as well as corn). Unfortunately, we understand something different by a good Italian/mixed salad. *Pizza, ok...Didn't really blow us away. That's why we won't be coming back. *Toilet "broken", the inside of the cistern is exposed...unfortunately it doesn't make the best external impression either.

Unfortunately I have to rate the service as poor. We ate there several times in 2024. The service was good, you were picked up and brought to your table. Now the service staff no longer seems to follow this path and wild sieging of tables is now the rule there! When you ask for a table or whether the custom has changed, you get a very unfriendly or annoyed response from the service staff. I say thank you for 2024, we won't be coming here again.

The two of us had dinner there with our dog. As a starter we had bruscetta, which was tasty but nothing special. The main course was calzone and a chicken burger, both of which were delicious. For dessert we had tiramisu. This was the only thing that was really freshly prepared and not purchased. However, if you have a good time, you can quickly reach €80 for two people. The restaurant was hardly attended by us, which is why we had our food very quickly. However, it did make you feel like you were being watched the whole time until you were finished so that the waiters had something to do. The waiters themselves were very friendly. I find value for money a bit expensive, but in comparison to equivalent restaurants it's within reasonable limits.

A cozy restaurant with Italian cuisine right on the lake. Lots of space, fast service and delicious pizza with a crispy base. Service could be a bit friendlier or more dynamic. Seems like it's a boring job. Toilet on the 1st floor.

Terrace offers a romantic atmosphere and indoors can organize wonderful events. With a distinct and perfect Italian climate, the restaurant is a highlight!

We wanted to have dinner here and chose this place based on its high ratings. However, to our surprise, we noticed that it was closed and apparently under construction. We find this to be irresponsible service. While we assume the food might be good, we cannot comment on that. Nevertheless, the mismanagement is unacceptable for a place with such high ratings.

Was in Überlingen with my girlfriend today. We had lunch at La Vita. It's very nice in there. The food is very tasty. I would be very happy to recommend it.

Service is unfriendly. Only puts dishes and drinks on the table in a mushy manner. Spaghetti didn't taste like anything and was just oily. But the pizzas were quite good.

This restaurant is very good and has a beautiful view. The servers are friendly but the meals are expensive. There are Italian restaurants next to them that are cheaper and better. For example, I had two Nutella pancakes, two coffees and an apple juice for 30 euros.

Dear La Vita team... We've eaten at your place several times over the last few years and it's always been very good. We also come from the catering industry and are experts. Today the four of us + child ate at your place and unfortunately it was a 5 minus. We had 2x risotto with chanterelles & 2x salmon with chanterelles & grilled vegetables and roasted potatoes. What the kitchen delivered today was really bad. The risotto only tasted like vegetable stock powder and nothing else. Even though it is such a SIMPLE food. When clearing away the service employee didn't ask if it was tasty even though both plates were almost full :-( The chanterelles (in tomato sauce?!) with the salmon weren't much better either. Sorry. Just read a cookbook or leave it alone. I'm very sorry for the honest review. The starter was the classic Antipasti Italiano. Perfect as always. Gastronomic greetings

There were three of us there for dinner. Unfortunately we weren't served, even though 3 waiters passed us regularly. After being spoken to politely twice and waiting for about 30 minutes, we moved on to another restaurant because we had the impression that we were being ignored (it wasn't too busy anymore as it was already later after dinner time.)

Fast, friendly reception, advice, operation and service.

In itself a very nice restaurant, with a great view. There is a rather "weird" atmosphere regarding the staff and customers. The food was prepared quickly and extremely tasty. The drinks were ice-cold and (luckily) there were warming blankets everywhere outside.

Pizza is tasty and very big but nothing special. So it doesn't stand out from other pizzas I've eaten. Service was quick and uncomplicated. Like all restaurants on the promenade, the prices are quite expensive but cheaper compared to their direct neighbors. Even if the comparison between pizzeria and Deutsch Bürgerlich is flawed. But you can compare it well with the drinks.

Unfortunately I didn't feel well. The waiter seemed arrogant, listless and not particularly friendly. However, the pizza was very tasty. One rag was used for all tables (without washing it in between). The rag was lying on the outside stairs while he was tying his shoe. It's not exactly hygienic. The two young girls behind the counter were giggling non-stop. It was a bit annoying and you felt like you were being watched. Unfortunately not a second time.

Staff super friendly. Nice atmosphere right on the lake. Unfortunately, deductions when it comes to food. Main course (tortellini and tagliatelle) ok. Only the salad was very carelessly prepared. Whole salami slices and ham slices simply thrown over the salad. It doesn't work that way. Lots of cheap iceberg lettuce. Simply too cheaply prepared for the price.

Been there on April 13, 2024, around 4 p.m.: Was my 2nd time & therefore my last time. The apparent main waiter and his extremely unsympathetic manner were really the height. Food was mediocre, lots of cream, felt like it had nothing to do with 4 cheese gnocchi. Didn't tip because I certainly don't pay extra for gossiping and cursing staff. Service fast, friendly, correct, but not necessarily personal. Lasagna not hot enough. A little under-seasoned, which doesn't refer to salt here. Penne al Forno was also clearly under-seasoned and had a neutral taste. Portions good. Prices reasonable.

Comida rica, sabrosa, platos muy generosos. La pasta casera exquisita con salsas para todos los gustos. Las pizzas gigantes con buenos ingredientes: jamón crudo, provolone, tomates, muzzarella, champignons y muchas opciones. Las ensaladas fresquísimas con exquisitos aderezos. Buenos vinos y cervezas, buen café.(el Expresso único!). En el interior hay mesas y también en el exterior, a pasos del Bodensee. A cualquier hora que vayas, disfrutás comida rica, buenos tragos y la vista al lago más bello. Los días más claros, podés contemplar los Alpes en el horizonte. Un punto absolutamente destacable es la atención de los camareros y camareras, todos bien dispuestos a que comas rico, con una atención esmerada, personalizada y con una absolutamente elegante simpatía. Más allá de la comida sabrosa, la excelente disposición del personal, hizo que visitara en varias ocasiones La Vita. Una perlita más en Überlingen.

Sehr schönes Ambiente mit herrlichem Blick auf das Bodensee. Zuvorkommende und freundliche Bedienung. Leckeres Essen, Preise etwas zu hoch.

Sehr zufrieden, Essen ist super lecker und Pizza ist auch ohne Probleme glutenfrei möglich. Service war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und der Ausblick auf den See einfach nur schön.

Pizza und Pasta in super Lage zu akzeptablen Preisen. Personal ist super organisiert und freundlich.
